I'm loving this new addition! A couple of points though....I saw several pages back that someone said that at first glance they thought the inline went through the second loop, I think that would have been REALLY cool! Secondly, I wish they would have added another inversion or two. One more inversion would have made a record for most inversions on an invert correct? None the less, like I said, awesome addition. I love the color scheme, and the station looks so cool! I hope they have a recording of the Banshee scream for the station. Have the scream played everytime a train is getting ready to exit the station!

IF they were to remove Boomerang, which CF park would be most likely to recieve it?

^ I hope they do not decide to remove Whizzer anytime in the near future. I would not be happy at all, and neither would most people. Remember when they were going to remove it for Superman, but thanks to such a public outcry SFGAm decided to keep it and remove Shockwave instead?

If you leave to go down the road to eat do you have to pay to park again? Or is all of the aforementioned restaraunts in walking distance?

Uh don't you think they have a reason? How in the world are they supposed to get wheelchairs and handicapped guests to the less used side farther away from the main path? With the closer one, there is a ramp right down to the flume. Uh Both the Flumes load and unload exactly right next to each other so a handicapped intrance for EITHER side would not be any sort of problem or major change! I was simply saying that I prefer the side of the ride less used. Your attitude is not needed so try adjusting it before you reply to one of my posts, ok? I promise I really have nothing against you with the attitude that came out in my post. I was frustrated and dealing with something else, but at the same time, the way the flume is currently set up, the handicapped ramp goes right down to the water on the right side of the log on the right side of the flume while normal guests board on the left side of that side of the flume. Then they exit where they got on instead of the normal exit. The other flume is not accessible without the use of the bridge and steps. I'm sorry. I know it's confusing to type. Again, sorry my frustration came out in my post... Thank you for saying that. No worries!

The problem is with the whole "Coaster Capitol" concept is it becomes about quantity not quality because neither park is all that money laden. After all in my opinion if St Louis really wanted to be a REAL coaster capitol they would have competed with Mamba NOT boomerang.. Not to change the subject but they did release some information on some killer new stuff at Haunt this year. They now have 3 levels of Fastpass for Haunt. The basic level, a Skeleton Key Level, and a VIP level. The Skeleton key level sounds really cool. In 5 of the Haunts there will be a Skeleton key room this is apparently an interactive room with a puzzle you have to solve in order to get out of the room. The VIP level has the Skeleton Key piece, Dinner is included, there is a special section for watching the opening ceremonies and they were saying that you go with the parade to be front of the line for the opening of the haunt of your choice. They were saying it will be more interactive with the actors as well. Sounds like it will be pretty killer. I did'nt really think about it that way, and you make a very good point. Although I do feel that CF takes more pride in adding quality additions to their parks more so than SF. But of course that is not always the case.

^ It was an honest mistake. So much has changed at the park through the years its completely understandable. I mean look at the Dolphin Show....It went from Dolphin show, to Robin Hood show, to a coaster lol!

Something I've been thinking about here lately, now that SFStL is marketing themselves as "The Coaster Capital of Missouri", you would think that CF/WOF would want to compete with that. Sort of make WOF and SFStL the mini CP and SFMM of the Midwest. Our own little Coaster war of the Midwest. It would be great for competition, and for their marketing. But it seems CF/WOF has no interest in taking the "crown", at least right now.

^^ I would'nt see the point in that when SFStL already has Pandamonium. Two spinning coasters is not necessary.

It took me one hour to get from eastern Louisville to KI, I did not speed. I dont know what I did differently than everyone else, but some how it worked for me. Anyway its not important.

Agreed! And I do believe the addition will be a coaster. It is the only SF park doing teaser videos, and they are not going to start teases this early for a simple flat, and especially just a Sky Screamer. A new roller coaster is a safe prediction, and I honestly will be surprised if I'm wrong. (Not that I think I'm always right, as I rarely am lol)

I really don't agree, I think WindSeeker is a far better ride than Sky Screamer, not to mention I have seen Kids swing sets with heaver gauge chain break. Not sure I really feel "safe" on them. On top of that according the new Maintenance director Windseeker is here to stay with Cedar Fair. I would just rather not see one in our park, whether it is used OR brand new. I'm tired of cookie cutter attractions, especially lame ones. I was hoping for a new, unique flat, or maybe even a new coaster (haha) for 2014. I dont know why but the windseeker rumor just really bugs me. On the bright side though there is also a rumor for a new addition to OOF.

According to Screamscape there is a rumor that WOF could recieve Knott's Berry Farm's Windseeker! I sincerely hope this rumor does not come true! I would rather see no new addition for the park in 2014 than to recieve ANY form of a Windseeker! The ride experience is completely lackluster, and they are not reliable in the least! Besides, SFStL has a Sky Screamer, which is a much better version of the ride anyway, and that in not that far away from WOF.

I'm hoping for a coaster

If they are going to mainly operate one side, I wish it would be the side that rarely is used. Its a much better ride experience in my opinion, and it feels longer.

I just got to watch the footage from the announcement at KI. That was great! A lot of energy in the crowd! They definitely had a great presentation for what is going to be a great coaster! I'm really excited to ride it! This will be the 3rd coaster addition at KI since I've last been there so hopefully 2014 will be my year!

Does anybody have an idea of when WOF will do its 2014 announcement?

Since BGT has already done its 2014 announcement, does anybody know or have heard when BGW will have thier 2014 announcement?

^ Id say if you want the Gwazi credit you should go when you can. I know nothing is confirmed but we all know Gwazi will not be around very much longer. I'd specualte that 2014 will most likely be its last season.
