And actually with my experience with the gold flash pass they say "up to half the wait" I have been there several times where the gold flash pass only has 2 or 3 minute wait and the ride clearly has 30 mins to an hour.. Platinum is great if you want two rides in a row but I find gold to be plenty enough.. When I was there a few weeks ago no ride on it had more than a 20 min wait. By time you walked to the ride u where almost good to go

Sadly I never got to ride the one at SFOG.. I did get to ride the one at Magic Mountain though, it's a hell of a ride that's for sure, I'm sad to hear that the new reatraints on the old one from Magic Mountain are making the ride rougher up at SFNE. Same here except I have never got to ride one anywhere The two times I was at six flags over GA when they had it, it was always down.. I didn't go much back then, only when my parents took me but still, it was always down haha

30+ mins on minors and up to about 1 and half hours on the majors! I have easily waited two hours on a ride before in the summer.. I now buy flash passes when I go. I normally by the gold that cuts wait times in half.. For me and my GF it runs between $60 - $100 depending on the discounts on our gold card. It'll normally run $60/person BUT sometimes season passes have a add 1 person free coupon! Plus they almost always have a save $5 - $10 person coupon making total for two around $100

I'm sure with Fury being open, this won't happen. But I went on a Tuesday & Wednesday in 11 and then on a Monday & Tuesday in 12, and with the exception of Nighthawk and Rip Roaring Rapids, all lines ranged from walk on [ Afterburn, Hurler, Thunder Road] to 5-10 mins [ Cobra, Cyclone, Intimidator] and they ran two trains on everything with the exception of Carolina Cyclone, they even ran 4 trains on Thunder Road one day each year I was there, the other two days it was one train but both sides open. Hopefully I can plan a mid week trip then! I'm sure it won't be as empty as it was when you where there but hopefully nothing major being a weekday

Very interesting.. Let me reword the question different now haha.. Next person that rides mind bender see if there is a broken train around the lift hill on the ground! If so, they must have purchased a train or part train from a different park I still find it very hard to believe they got the train laying there fixed.. It was in bad bad shape

Oh yeah and its already getting pretty humid here! But yeah a few weeks ago I probably dropped a little over $400+ at six flags between hotel room, flash pass, food, and gas.. Its cost a little bit but I love going to six flags almost as much as Dollywood thankfully Dollywood only cost me $50ish a trip BC I am so close haha

I stood in line last week with one train stuck on the lift hill and the other stuck halfway into the station, so I can literally guarantee to you that there were two on the track. If I had known physical proof was needed, I would've gotten you a picture of both from that spot. It is not that I don't believe you, I just find it generally hard to believe and just really really odd considering it appeared nothing has changed since they lost the 2nd train last July, and come opening weekend it appeared to be the exact same situation as it has been for some 6 months, then suddenly all is normal and well. I am extremely excited to hear this news though!!! Yeah and all is well in under a week because I was there last weekend and it was still apart.. Now this weekend there are two trains.. I find it odd as well They might have purchased a train from another park and the second train that went down last year is now a part train If that's the case MOVE it.. Haha it looks like a junk yard with the train guts just laying there lol I would really love to know the answer. Are you saying there are 2 trains on the track and a 3rd in pieces between the maintenance shed and the loop? If so, the third train exists and is more put together than I thought (and was repainted along with the other 2 a few years back) or they bought a used train at some point. If the train that was on the ground is gone, I assume it was the 2nd of just 2 trains left and they somehow slapped it back together between opening weekend and the next weekend after seemingly not touching it since late last summer. I am still so confused by this... Genuinely excited though. Yeah and I was there the second weekend this year and it was still in pieces so they slapped it together between the second and third weekend in just 4 or 5 days haha BC the second weekend there was one train on the track and the one on the ground in thousands of pieces.. Wasnt another in the maint shed as far as I could tell

I was there a few years ago on easter and the park was dead.. All rides where walkons all day.. For those who have been to six flags on Sundays and know how its dead until 1 or 2 imagine that low crowd all day.. That's easter! Lol I try to go Easter every year, I love the no crowds, I'm just hoping the forecast stays nice *fingers crossed*. This is how I was last weekend.. Planning your trip a week or so out due to hotel rooms and what not can be stressful as the weather changes!! Haha luckily it was nice and sunny all day for me! The weather had actually changed mid week from sunny to mostly cloudy but on Saturday it changed back to mostly sunny.. It was a great day sunny and 72!

New rides aren't open yet.. Also on a pretty day they might open the gates early and if they do cyclone and scorcher usually open with the gates.. But nothing else will open until the scheduled open time and you won't get much further than cyclone and scorcher (rope gates are still up) With that being said I have been there before when the gates don't open until the exact posted time.. So it really just depends. Its usually 30 mins early if they do open early If you head there on a Saturday get a flash pass . lines are just way to long on a pretty Sat!!
