What's the name of this rollercoaster and where is it located? Cobra at Connyland

^ I'm now really looking forward to this show. I also just bought tickets to Paganfest America IV. On the bill are Ensiferum, Tyr and Heidevolk. I've seen Ensiferum and Tyr before, both of which kicked ass. I only recently got into Heidevolk, so I'm quite excited to see them live for the first time. This will also be my third Paganfest, having attended II (Eluveitie headlining) and III (Finntroll headlining). What can I say...I like my folk metal.

I will most definitely be doing the event once again in 2013. It was a great time that went to support a great cause.

^^ I'm actually seeing that exact same show in February. I'm looking forward to seeing how they were from you! Also, I just bought tickets to Testament and Overkill because...well, why not? That makes three concerts coming up all within about a week of each other in February (Gojira/Devin Townsend, Turisas, this one). Hurrah hearing loss!

North Korea has been well over the brink of poverty and has been residing in a deep canyon of it since the collapse of the Soviet Union. However, I am bizarrely fascinated with North Korea. It's a great study in mass propaganda and totalitarian control. I would actually like to visit the country, but that poses a lot of other problems, both logistical and ethical. For some good reading about North Korea, I recommend: Nothing To Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea The Aquariums of Pyongyang: Ten Years in the North Korean Gulag Both are fascinating, but horribly depressing.

If your answer is anything other than the Skooters at Knoebel's, you're wrong. Unless you haven't been there. Then you're excused. Honorable mentions go to Sock It To Me at Funtown Splashtown. It's a no holds barred free for all on those bumper cars. Head on collisions? Sure! Why not!

Can't say I'm too sad to see Roller Soaker go. Last summer, I tried to ride it three times over the course of my visit and it broke down during all three attempts. I think in the end, more slides, a new sprayground, increased shading and seating will be more beneficial than the ride.

Within Temptation - "Radioactive"

It was another folk metal night for me last night. I ventured to possibly my favourite venue, The Opera House in Toronto to see Varg, Wintersun and one of my all time favourite bands, Eluveitie. This marks the 6th time I've seen Eluveitie now. I will never miss them when they come anywhere near me. I love that band so much. The venue was packed and the crowd was red hot all night. Fantastic energy all night translated into one hell of a time. As always, Eluveitie brought the house down. They played their new album (well, from February, whatever) Helvetios in its entirety and then came out for a lengthy encore. The next concert I'll be going to will be Goijira and Devin Townsend Project in February. So, my ears will get a bit of a break. Here are some pictures from last night! Varg! Wintersun! Eluveitie!
