I don't think it's rough at all, but it's not very exciting to ride anymore.

Then Cedar Point would not be the greatest amusement park on earth. What if SFMM builds a giga this year?

You never know with SFMM though, they have been building new coasters almost every year for five years now so I wouldn't be surprised if they built another new coaster this year.

There are obviously some holes in what actually happened, and hopefully what really happened will come out. It's crazy how the GP treat test things though. I mean you have a higher chance of drowning in your bathtub than dying on a roller coaster, but people still take baths all the time, I just don't understand.

Something for the waterpark would be great, and would probably compel me to finally take a day and go to HH, but MM is into adding a new flat but mainly coaster, every year, so I doubt that HH will get many new slides. Especially since it's usually packed there when I go, it seems like people are satisfied with the slides that they have there.

I'd love to know more about it!

^^ HAHA! But I've played lacrosse for 7 years and it's awesome. This year my U13a team lost in the state semis so it was a good year.

Both times I went SFNE, it was a walk on al day, cause no one seems to want brain damage! I couldn't believe it either!

^ They're still missing their giga though. My hope would be that their next two coasters are a wing coaster and a giga. If that turns out to be true it would be amazing, but I am expecting to see more smaller, lower cost coasters like YOLOcoaster.

I love Talon also, I think its better than Great Bear, Batman Clones, Silver Bullet, Raptor, and Flight Deck. Aren't Talon and Patriot identical track layouts except for a few minor details?

That would be awesome, but maybe they should just build the massive terrain coaster we thought we were going to get last year. But any big coaster addition for them would be good.

^ What makes you think that? The Intamins at Cedar Point and the other Cedar Fair parks have been hugely popular, and most are amazing coasters. There is no reason for them to not get more coasters from Intamin when they have been such big successes.

I think that the best way for them to fix it is to add a double chain in case one fails, the other one can still bring the boat up the lift.

^ On some coasters now they don't have seat belts, just the lap bars, not many, but some, like the B&M hypers and gigas, and Gerstlauer trains only use lap bars. Maybe now all coasters will require a seatbelt and lap bar or OTSRs.

Holy crap that's terrible. I sometimes try to get a little extra room so I can get a little better airtime, but if she told the employee she didn't feel safe and they didn't make her seatbelt tighter, that is absolutely awful. EDIT: Sounds like that's not true, but if it is, that's awful.

This is such a tragedy, my thoughts are with her family. This is something that you can only imagine, it's so horrible. Hopefully they can determine the cause of what made her fall out of the train.

What is happening tonight! my thoughts go out to the injured people, that would be terrifying! And the same for the woman on NTAG, that is so tragic.
