  1. So in other words, they're not getting jack squat.
  2. So we know this much...Anybody figured out the other parks yet? SFOG – Super Loop SFA – Super Loop SFGAd – Super Loop SFNE – RMC Coaster SFGE - ? La Ronde - ? SFFT – 4D Free Spin Coaster SFOT – Justice League Dark Ride SFSL – Justice League Dark Ride SFGAm - ? SFM - ? SFMM – RMC Coaster SFDK – Super Loop
  3. Nice trip report. My wife and I went to KI back on Aug. 9th...and it was an awesome trip. We love KI. Banshee is a great addition to the park. As with the great coasters KI has, they also have some of the most terrible too. I agree with you on Firehawk...It's an awful ride. Although I wouldn't say it's their worst ride, that honor would go to Vortex. Adventure Express is pretty god awful too. But it's hard not to love KI after you ride Banshee, Diamondback and Beast...That trio is so awesome you could pretty much just ride them all day and never get tired of them.
  4. *Goes and buys 2015 Carowinds season pass*
  5. Badass! Another beautiful B&M coaster! Great addition Carowinds.
  6. What if Carowinds renames a ride Centurion just like they did at KI with The Bat/Flight Deck. I'm hoping the new ride is Fury 325. Let's announce it already!
  7. This band is going to keep playing until it's 2015 and then we'll finally find out.
  8. Somebody get that clown from the Apollo and get these people off the stage!
  9. I got a band playing with no audio...this may be a good thing. I dunno.
  10. I don't think I've ever been this excited to find out something that I already know.
  11. I may be in the minority here, but I like Fury 325. I think it sounds badass.
  12. The 4D Spin only costs 7 million. The RMC conversions are probably 10 million or less. All three coasters added together probably still won't cost as much as what Carowinds is spending on one coaster. We'll probably never see Six Flags spend more than $20 million on one park again. Six Flags is cheap. When was the last time they did? Kingda Ka? Naturally you can still have great coasters under 20 million but that does limit options a bit. 2006...Six Flags Over Georgia - Goliath

  14. Looks like great additions...Something for everyone. HFE really know how to make a park awesome. And I was wrong about the 4d free spin...Who the heck is getting that ride?!
  15. Alpengeist is a great coaster. Probably was my favorite inverted coaster up until I rode Banshee. They're both super fast, but I'd have to say Banshee is more forceful. The great thing about Banshee is...it never hits the breaks until the ride is done.
  16. On facebook, Silver Dollar City Attractions is calling today's announcement, "big news". Who knows, the 4d free spin could be considered kid friendly. I'm hoping this is the park getting it. Is there going to be a live announcement feed we can watch?
  17. I was close with my guess. Never would have thought of Glow-Coaster though...Awesome! I love it! I can see Six Flags copying this with all their Pandemonium rides now. Great addition Hersheypark!
  18. I don't get it. What is this thing? It looks cool!
  19. It'd be nice if there was a live feed of the announcement. It's time to know now.
  20. I believe this is an indoor spinning mouse coaster, if that's what it is, will replace their current mouse coaster. Hershey will probably have two mouse coasters for a year and then in 2016 take down the old mouse and put up water slides in its place. Anybody know what time the announcement will be today?
  21. Went to KI Saturday and had a great time. Is it me or does the park have the coasters running faster than normal? The Beast is running way more faster than it did last year...It felt like it was leaving the tracks...I loved it! The Beast is my favorite wooden coaster, hands down. I have to say, Banshee on the back row is probably the most forceful B&M coaster I've rode. A whole different experience on the back compared to the front. Some spots, it felt like it was melting my face. Incredible coaster...And yay for B&M for making another awesome creation! One last thing, I got to give Vortex the bird...That coaster is just a brutal bitch. I hate it. I want it to die. That's all.
  22. Wonder if Hersheypark may put in an indoor spinning mouse coaster and theme it as a fun house inside, and then take out their old mouse coaster and use that space for a waterpark expansion?
  23. Rumor has it that the teal color and the bees (hornets) have to do with the Charlotte Hornets. I welcome the theme if true cause I'm a Hornet fan.
