Whenever you assign the task he heads towards the closest house to him, not a completely random one. -

WW'S COASTERMANIA PTR

This past year my family purchased season passes and began to frequently visit Silver Dollar City, mostly due to the fact that Outlaw Run looked super amazing. Since we got a really nice camera around Labor Day, we got some really good pictures from the last three festivals of the year. These aren't really trip reports, they are just pretty good pictures of the park and its attractions throughout the year. Here is a look at both our November and December visits, which took place during the Old Time Christmas festival. Santa welcomes you to Silver Dollar City's Old Time Christmas. Our first stop was at the Silver Dollar City to see the "Frontier Fa-La-La-La Follies" show. The Saloon is home to good old fashioned fun, and that means lots of singing and dancing. There is a beautiful caroling scene as well. And it wouldn't be complete without snow flurries! A random audience member is chosen to be Mean Murphy as the saloon girls tell a unique version of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". Wildfire is even more stunning at sunset. Wildfire may not be the most forceful B&M, but it sure does have some great moments, such as the loop. The cobra roll is very fun as well. A look at Hugo's Hill Street all lit up from Lumbercamp's dining pavilion. Another look at Hugo's Hill Street at night. Silver Dollar City's shows are all Broadway-quality, and A Christmas Carol is no exception. A Christmas Carol is one of the most well known Christmas stories and Silver Dollar City does it justice. Scrooge is appalled to see the townspeople dancing on his coffin. Scrooge decides to change his ways during the heartwarming finale. Almost every tree inside the park is decorated like this for the holidays. The Giant Barn Swing is overtaken by giant snowflakes. Outlaw Run's entrance plaza is very bright. The park's giant Christmas tree changes colors. A look at the Riverfront area from the train. The Giant Barn Swing in action. Santa and his reindeer have flown right into Outlaw Run. The train robbers aren't this time. Instead, the story of Jesus's birth is told. The light parade features a Jack-in-the-Box float. There is also a train. A very fun gingerbread house also rides in. One of my favorite floats in the parade is the snowman snowglobe. One final look at Hugo's Hill Street -

It's a fun game but I feel like it has way too many things going on. -

Why does everyone seem to believe seatbelts limit the amount of airtime on a ride? I have been on so many rides with seatbelts and they still have amazing airtime (Outlaw Run, American Thunder, The Voyage, etc.). -
Didn't even notice the new paint, I wasn't really paying attention. But speaking of Batman, I thought the queue was going to be shortened. Why didn't they do that? Was it not in the budget? Edit: Other notes from opening day -Boss, Colossus, and Boomerang were closed along with Thunder River and Tidal Wave -The new sports bar was great. The employees were still getting used to the new system, but the atmosphere and food were impressive. Easily the best restaurant in the park. -The new entrance works pretty well. Those who purchased season passes last year just scan their card and walk in, people purchasing them this year scan their fingerprints.
