  1. It's either shadows or the Instagram filter. The blue on the trains is not that dark in real life.
  2. I remember reading that there will be actual targets projected on a fog screen that will be a first for a dark ride. Is that supposed to be the big secret or is there even more than that?
  3. I'm gonna guess "Studios" will not be in the new name. There aren't many attractions left that actually deal with moviemaking. I'm thinking "Disney's Hollywood Adventure".
  4. The building looks awesome so far! Anyone else think its funny the Scooby Doo sign is still up?
  5. The "T" on the helmet pretty much confirms the name will be Tempesto.
  6. I could be wrong but I'd guess there will be a trim brake there. Anybody know for sure?
  7. You can't blame the park when they haven't gotten a lot of the supplies from the manufacturer yet.
  8. Gotta say, the area itself looks like it could easily be the most immersive environment ever constructed in an amusement park. Those floating mountains are gonna be gigantic! The only thing I'm a little bit worried about is that from the sound of it the E-ticket is going to be a simulator ride similar to Soarin' except for it will take place on a dragon. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint, but either way it'll still be one of the best attractions in the park.
  9. This is probably the dumbest thing you've ever posted. And that's saying something.
  10. Since the Oscars are tonight, I decided to give "Boyhood" a watch. I honestly thought it was an amazing film. It had the most heart of any of the Best Picture nominees I watched (Grand Budapest Hotel and Birdman were the other two). Probably one of my favorite movies to come out in a long time. As a teenager living with divorced parents, I was able to relate to the film in lots of ways, and a lot of the fears or challenges tackled in the movie are ones I've had to deal with myself. I am hoping it beats out Birdman tonight, but it's chances of winning seem to be getting smaller and smaller. On a side note, I watched Birdman a few days ago and enjoyed it. It wasn't the OMFG amazing movie everyone seems to be making it out to be. I mean, the storyline wasn't anything special. Keaton deserves the Best Actor award, though. In the end though, I enjoyed both Boyhood and Grand Budapest Hotel more than Birdman.
  11. 4 million is nowhere near how much it would cost to I-Box the Twins. Then again, plans change, so maybe those numbers were reported before they chose to do I-Box track.
  12. Love the club TPR magnet on the train! This ride is going to be awesome.
  13. Hmmm... I don't seem to remember God saying "Let orcas be free." On our last trip to SWO there were actually people with signs saying "I love SeaWorld" standing right next to the protestors. Put a smile on my face.
  14. I loved GateKeeper. Just a fun ride from beginning to end.
  15. There are lots of things they (IMO) need to do with their current four parks before they build a fifth. Such as... -Pretty much redo all of the Imagination and Energy Adventure pavilions at EPCOT -Add even more rides to DAK other than Avatar -Redo the entire left side of DHS, but that's already happening (at least I think so)
  16. Am I the only one who thinks Beast is a bad ride? I prefer Racer over it. Beast was just slow and boring IMO.
  17. 50 degrees is too high! B:TR at SFSL operates at well below that temp. I'm not saying 30 is good, but 50 isn't the number. It's actually exactly in the middle of those two! Wildfire at Silver Dollar City needs temperatures of 40 degrees or higher to operate. However, with Thunderbird being launched, it could have a higher limit than normal, but I don't know.
  18. So was S&S never involved in the first place? I'm confused. Either way, this project is sounding amazing! Can we please have the world's tallest wooden coaster wrapping around the entire complex next? Supplied by Intamin, of course.
  19. Wasn't the whole PolerCoaster an S&S concept? Are they working with Intamin or were they just dropped altogether?
  20. You are going to love this event. Holidayworld spoils us rotten and has one the best events around everywhere. There is nothing else out there quite like a pitch black voyage ride where you can't even see your hand in front of your face then getting off and getting a free drink and jumping right back in line again. Also, don't forget to bring you swim suit as splashing safari is one of the best water parks in the country. Can't wait to go back again this year for my third year. Sounds good... count us in, M.a.g.g.i.e and I will be there Sorry about my last comment. I came off as kind of a selfish jerk. You'll have a great time! Holiwood Nights was probably the best time I've ever had a theme park. HW puts together an amazing event, and I'm sure they'll plan for the bigger crowds that they know will be there this year. Hope to see ya there!
  21. The funniest thing is that Andrew Garfield's Twitter has a link to a petition for Sony to team up with Marvel, which was posted about a month or two ago. I bet he didn't know that the collaboration would result in him being replaced. In my opinion, it's a dumb choice to replace Spiderman yet again. This isn't James Bond, we don't need a new actor every five years.
