^^My dad and I were driving past the UP yard in Oroville, CA, and we saw it in the middle of a work train between two bunk cars and thought it would be a good place to put our layout (modern era, BNSF/UP/Amtrak). At first we joked about buying it, but we went to the yard office and asked anyway. They said the work train wasn't used for a few years, and they didn't need it anymore. At first my dad was kind of nervous about the price, but now he wants one of those open-deck observation cars . It took about two months for the sale to go through, and when it finally did, they moved it to Fresno to make more space in the Oroville yard! When we contacted UP headquarters in Omaha, they told us it wasn't in operable condition. My response to this was:"It's not in operable condition?!? How the f*ck did you guys move it to fFresno if it wasn't in operable condition?!? I threatened to tell a few news stations how the world's largest railroad stole one messed up railcar from a 15 year-old. It was back the next day.

Here are some more pics, and no there is nothing in the caboose. It was converted to an office car after they stopped using cabooses, so the bunks, shelves, and cupola observation deck are gone, the only thing remaining is the stove. It must suck to be the dude in the yellow. The caboose when it first arrived. A look at the interior, those objects on the floor are the couplers and air tanks, which had to be removed, along with the steps, for transportation. they have recently been welded back on.

I also like trains, I even own a caboose. I'll post more pics later. Office Car #906250, recently retired from UP work service. It cost $6000, and another $10000 to move it by truck to our 80-acre property.

http://www.amusementtoday.com/irm.html Look at the very last item. I'm not a Schwarzkopf expert, but I don't think there are any other Schwarzkopf coasters with four loops... that is portable... at a Six Flags park... built in 1986.

Chain lift question
V2-dude replied to Wyatt's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
You need a trainer, which basically "hacks" into the game and allows you to do thing like speedy lifts, any type of train on any type of track, and other stuff like that. -
