The new Red Zone concept is pretty interesting. I wonder how well it will sell. There's a ton of money in that area, so it definitely has the potential.
The 23rd will be more busy than the 10th, but they are both weekends so the park will be busy. Discovery Kingdom is really nice during the week. Seems a lot less crowded than other parks during the week.
The Grand Prix looked awesome! I've always wanted to do that. I'm so jealous about all the amazing and unique things you have planned! What an amazing trip!
Sounds like you had a great day! As for Roar, it's definitely better, but it still could use a lot of work. Also, I honestly can't remember the last time it had more than one train running.
I would love to see some more rides. I know they've done a good job, and Gold Striker is awesome, but the park had been neglected for so long that it could still use a few more rides.
To me, the seats for GL were fine, but the ride itself was pretty boring. I've ridden it three times, and have only flipped one time on each ride. It seemed like whenever it was going to get really good, it would slow down or just not make it.
