It will be real interesting to see how this rides. It was a painful ride when I rode it last. -
Thorpe Park Discussion Thread

Im pretty sure its going to be an immersive tunnel ride like King Kong. To be honest I would have no issue with a Vekoma Madhouse with insane theming even though 13 minutes would be serious excessive for it. I like the Mad House rides, too. Wish we had more in the U.S. I agree! They are a lot of fun. -

What is your next park?

My next officially planned park is SFMM for WCB, but I'm sure I'll hit up another park before then. -

Glad to see some more flat rides brought to the parks. I thinks it's a good decision. -
Today, TPR got invited for a construction update tour of The Joker! They are doing an amazing job at transforming Roar into The Joker. There is still quite a lot to do, but what they have finished looks amazing and we can't wait to see more! Thanks to Marc from SFDK and the Rocky Mountain Construction team for giving us a tour of the construction! It's going to be a whole new experience when it reopens! Good thing I'll have a hard hat! All ready to start the tour! I do like the colors! Up close and personal! Fresh wood ready to be put to good use! Heading back to the station. Lots of metal! RMC has their own custom built trailer from coaster parts! There will be a lot of changes when this ride reopens! The old photo tower What the left wheel will see! Won't be able to stand here in a few months! Lots of footers Where Roar used to go through a hill I would be 100 times more scared to ride this high in the air! Up close shot of the track and the bracing This looks like it could pull a lot of G's! It looks all nice and new! The first drop This really looks amazing! Lots of work to be done! Random metal pieces They were working on getting a few pieces for this part in place today. Lots of wood and curves! I'm really hoping the ride flies through this part! Nice little hops before the lift hill Those are important numbers and letters Fresh pieces of steel just waiting for wheels to roll over them. This piece is getting prepared to be put into place Lots of stuff going on here Random support It's getting twisty! I can't wait to see what ends up here! Getting it all ready for the track Some giant cogs for the new chain The underside of the track Out with the old! You did well old Roar parts. Now you can rest in peace. Tons of old random parts from Roar All the secrets of RMC are in this shed. Heading towards the lift hill The pre-lift area looking towards the station Looks like a fun start to the ride! This is the old chain motor housing Looking back again towards the station Under the lift hill Some bracing for an leaning track piece Just waiting for the track! Looking to add track soon! Lots of random wood cuttings Looking through the lift hill This is where the new chain assembly will go Standard footing Nice little hops Still a bit of work here Can't wait to see the part of the ride when it opens! They were working on putting two more pieces on here today. The bottom right are the pieces getting prepped to be put in place Those are some serious hydraulics to be able to lift that crane! Can't wait! It's really going to fly through here! Random painted parts They can fit a lot of track in pretty small area! Nice long sweeping turn. In case you forget which way the train is supposed to go Another extreme closeup! The first drop! This picture doesn't get old! Another look at the first drop This is going to be an amazing ride! It's going to be an amazing looking ride! It's amazing how many footers there are! Installed curvy track. This will all be filled in soon They hugging one last time. Lot's of stuff all ready to go! All ready to be lifted up and installed Some random lonely pieces Going vertical! These could probably be substituted for money among theme park nerds New chains all wrapped up like presents It's amazing to me that engineers can look at this mess of wood and turn it into an awesome ride! Thanks Marc, SFDK, and RMC for giving us an amazing tour! The rest of the track is being stored in the parking lot under securities watchful eye!

I really hope we get Newsies in Reno next year.

I like getting the doughnuts, but it is really annoying. Currently, I have 77 curved, 63 S curve, 105 short track, and 132 straight track pieces so I really don't care about anymore track pieces. Eventually, I'll actually put the track together but it takes so much time. I guess I lucked out with getting straight pieces. I do send off the rocket. I have enough cash that it really doesn't matter. I've gotten junk twice, and the Kang/Kodos topiary once. The one "mini-game" I can't stand is the Springfield heights. It takes so incredibly long to complete the Billionaire Haven. I absolutely hate how long it takes to get everything.

Thanks! Aquatopia is such a fun ride, I'd love to see them bring it to more parks. Granted, I'd love to see them bring anything and everything at TDR to more parks. -
I wonder if they will replace Joseph Pulitzer with Kim Jong Un?

I passed on it last time I was there, but my son is getting more and more interested in Legos so I might have to visit it the next time I'm in town. However, the apple fries alone are almost worth a visit. -
I can't seem to ever catch up at work.

Did they expand the area at all for Luigi's, or is it the exact same footprint? -
Do you know what triggers it? I have the app updated, and no one is on tasks. EDIT: And of course ten seconds after I posted this it triggered.

Springfield Heights is such a chore. I'm almost at 900 million, so I have to finish it. It's just a terrible addition that makes me hate the game.
