I would be a little disappointed if they went with B&M instead, just because I'm dying to see something like Intimidator go to Knott's. But I'm sure whatever they're getting will be awesome. Something like Shambhala mixed with Leviathan would be great; they're due for another major coaster. When does Knott's usually announce their new additions? They would have to announce it pretty soon...

Never been on either but I would guess Maverick. Which are you more excited for, Outlaw Run or GateKeeper?

I usually would support a family coaster, but Knott's already has a LOT of family coasters: Jaguar, Pony Express, & Sierra Sidewinder. I honestly think that PP will be replaced by a thrill ride as the Boardwalk is where most of the thrill rides are & the park's last big thrilling ride is Silver Bullet built in '04. It may not be a giga, but I don't think they would take out one of the park's biggest thrills and replace it with a family-friendly ride, that just doesn't sound like Cedar Fair. I think 2013 will be big for Knott's. Completely agree. Personally I would love to see a large coaster added as a replacement, and I think the park could use it. My dream would be something like I305. The Screamscape rumor sounds awesome...if it could only come to pass..

Wonder if the papers beside her computer have anything to do with the 2013 project? Here's a close-up, darkened so you can read the letters a little better. Looks these have something to do with a planet, or possibly the moon?

Yeah and if you examine the crate it seems to have something glowing inside. Probably a special effects show of some kind.

I think what has people a little disappointed with this coaster is how it compares to the other coasters at the park, it's not necessarily a stand-out. You have a park that's known for its world-class coasters, such as Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Maverick, Magnum - with some of them being considered as some of the world's greatest coasters. And with this new coaster, we're not seeing anything that hasn't been done before, which disappoints some people. With their past coasters, Cedar Point has made an effort to stand out from other coasters being constructed at other parks in the U.S., breaking the mold and consistently raising the bar throughout the years and producing coasters that stand out from the pack (Millennium, Dragster, Maverick). Other Wing Rider's have the dive drop, Immelmann's, keyhole elements, etc. I think what B&M has been lacking is the development of new track elements as well as using the same out-and-back layout for a lot of their coasters which to me (and all this is my opinion, no one has to agree with me; agree to disagree) isn't helping them stand out from their previous installments. I've ridden one of these and I don't doubt this coaster will be a fun coaster (Wild Eagle was a lot of fun, and one of my personal favorites that I've been on actually). That's just my thoughts on the subject. My opinion is it will definitely be a fun coaster. The fact that it travels over top of the entrance is unique. But aside from that, its not a really a stand-out in my book.

I never got to ride the Plunge. May it rest in pieces. I never ride rides like this. I hate getting wet. I can't wait to hear the plans for the new coaster. I hope its something like Intimdator 305.

Wild Eagle was fun. I wish it was longer, but it was still a very good ride. It has really good speed through the inversions and was pretty intense I thought (especially in the helix). Overall I enjoyed it. The view from the top was incredible. But, I guess agree to disagree.

Recently on three separate occasions, I've heard three different groups of people share news that Disney and Universal have plans to build parks in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (Dollywood is our home park). Yep. I just smile and shake my head in agreement with them. lol Also, my friend was telling me about his recent ride on Intimidator 305. I was asking all sorts of questions like what did you think of it?, and did you gray-out etc. He went on to say he whited-out after the 305ft incline and 140ft. drop. I was like, (straight faced) what did you just say?

Has Magic Mountain set a date for announcing the 2013 attractions?

This looks awesome! What a gorgeous B&M. I wasn't sure about the name at first, but I think its growing on me. The layout looks really nice. I kinda thought it would be a little taller (I was thinking over 200'). Looks like it will be a great ride.

Roughest coasters I remember were Joker's Jinx at Six Flags America when we visited...probably in the early thousands. At the time it had OTSR's, so lots of head banging. Another really rough one was Wildcat at Hershey...rode it once, got the credit and never again. Tennessee Tornado's getting pretty rough these days as well, but bareable.
