  1. I guess B&M hasn't approved it yet, they must be busy on some interesting new rides for next year then but seriously, they should've done it by now (the approval).
  2. Maybe he was trying to respond to the other topic, but accidentaly hit the new topic button instead of the reply button. I almost did that once.
  3. So it has to do with Robb's garden? And will the donkey on the T-Shirt be replaced by a cold drywall instead, riding a roller coaster?
  4. I pmed him and he said he needed B&Ms approval first.
  5. Well, I don't know about the law thing, because when I went to Magic Mountain in 2003 I was twelve and had to wait for some of the coasters on my own but if your son is really young and incapable of handling himself, then the better option would be to watch him.
  6. Omg, ther prarie dog thing is gone and are the lorikeets gone as well? I loved those and after getting sick on the rides and my brother (who doesn't like rides that much) would spend a dollar to feed the lorikeets and watch the prarie dogs. It was very relaxing to cool down (after getting sick) in that area. RIP Gentle Jungle. BTW PhishyBrewer, do you go to those trivia nights at the Sac Brewery? Because I have a teacher named Mr. Lewis, Mr. Taylor, and my bro has Mrs. Thomas and Mr. Freund who go to those trivia nights. If so, then, it must be a small world then.
  7. I am posting in responce to the message about B&M working for Intamin. It may in fact not be B&M who made the Shockwave ride because when you look at the standup patent for Giovanola: http://www.freepatentsonline.com/4700632.html?highlight=giovanola%20freres%20sa You see that the inventor was Bernard Schmutz; no mention of Walter Bolliger or Claude Mabillard. Perhaps an employee for them, or just patented in his name, or was B&M not involved in the Intamin standup?
  8. To me, it seems like they overestimated the capabilities of the one car train. It would be pretty easy to just add a motor to pull the car up, but it would not fix the bad pacing that it takes that corner on. I would wonder if more people in the car would just bog it down even more.
