  1. When I went to CP, TTD had 1 breakdown the entire 2 days. On KK, they reset the computers probably 15 times, they sent around 10 trains total out, only to have them come back in. Including ours. We went out to the launch track then they took us back, and we sat in the train for 30 minutes... Anyways, this isnt a TTD vs. KK thread. He was just telling everyone that it was down for maintinence...
  2. I just rode Black Mamba and it seemed to be running good. It let up in the transitions between the turns but that was it. I think I got 9 Spins on Talocan. Side Note: The company my Brother-In-Law works for had some thing at a fair and the partners payed the ride operator to keep the Top Spin going for something like 15 minutes.
  3. Some more no maverick in photo shots... Hmm, something is wrong here... And a cool one with the train...
  4. ^^ Lets think for a bit, 70 degrees banking to say, -40 degrees in banking. 70+40=110 degree change for a s-curve. Then, if wanted a 360, we'd take 360-110=250 which would be the banking change for a barrel roll. Which number is smaller? ^^
  5. Carella: Type: B&M Mega Coaster Height: 170 Ft. Drop: 210 Ft. Length: 5300 Ft. Duration: 1:20. Top Speed: 78 MPH. Max Vertical Angle: 72°. Max Banking Angle: 154°. Pictures: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p3410 Requires NL 1.6 and the No Limits Track Packager available at: http://www.gravimetricstudios.com Carella.nlpack
  6. ^X was disorienting?^ Anyways, i also went on the robocoaster at legoland (levels two and five) and it was one of the craziest things I've been on, the only headbanging on the arms is caused by stopping a little quickly (I just put my hands on the top of the restraint to create no room for my head to move).
  7. You CANT buy it at a store UNLESS your german and live in Germany. You have NO OTHER WAY of getting it besides through the website.
  8. When's the due date for this again? Im about 3 elements into the ride. So far so good.
  9. I'm in.... One question: If I want to use car textures (just to make the ride better, not to be judged) can I upload it as a .nlpack?
  10. I refined Jakizle's template a little bit, raised the height limit to 16 ft. and added boxes to show. I also added a little box area on the far right of the template that could be used maybe for a cobra roll (hint hint). The template is just a modified version of Jazikles.... One final question, how long will the contest go for, as I doubt I'd be able to finish anything half decent in less than a month (I have a life other than coasters ). 11. I'd have to go with the PRE-Six FLags Thriller, that ride looked amazing...shame I couldn't ride it.
  12. Well I've worked long and hard and......I finished the station and queue area.....and I think it looks great. Here are quite a few pictures http://nldc.interfix.net/p1537 Comments???

  14. Completely elementary made.....and if there werent enough lats its easy ennough to tweak it and send it through the AHG again. I tried to keep the G's as realistic as possible for the wooden coaster style, there are plenty of great forces on the ride, but nothing too extreme.
  15. Depending on the turns the lats vary, but there are still many good turns with lats. I went with the AHG not only for a smoother track but to get the swooping transitions feel which is quite rare abd a ton of fun on a woodie. THis is the biggest reason I chose the GCI train style.
  16. Bobcat is a small GCI twister with a feeble attempt at terrain. The trackwork is done (completely made but hand tweaked in the elementary then AHG'd) and I'm working on cleaning the supports up and adding in the steel bracing. I'll make a car texture and maybe some low-grade 3ds (i'm not good with them). Here are some pictures...... http://nldc.interfix.net/p1537
  17. That pineapple maze is huge, takes forever to get all your stamps (it doesnt run like a normal mazy, you start out in the center, and you have to find these stations where you trace a figure onto a piece of paper, then you have to find the next and then the next) I think I was in it for a good 40 minutes. I think there is an Ocean Park on Oahu. think we drove by it while I was there.
  18. You have to go back to the atari website and redownload it, most of the stuff has been updated for Wild, so if its updated, no problem
  19. I feel so sorry for you, I live 30 minutes away from the park and havent been to it for 5 years now. I'd rather go to the Santas Village thing at Firebird Int. Raceway.
  20. Lookin good Smallish. About the above, quite a few people spend tons of time on the scenary, but the actual roller coaster (ride ect.) is terrible, which in a POV ruins the ride. So when I do attempt to create a themed ride, I spend about as much time working on getting the actuall coaster just right, then I do putting scenary around it.
  21. I believe the elevator does work, just its closed to public (permits?). And, it was six flags that took those pictures, not Robb.
  22. Dont see any reason to visit that park anyways.....................Id rather just drive 9 hours to L.A. to go to KBF or SFMM. I doubt Castles and Coasters will replace it with anything, at least not in the next decade or two. But, I do see the park closing down pretty soon, as real estate is pretty good in that area. Hopefully the Santas Village fair thing will become permanent, and we can add another rollercoaster or two to arizonas stunning array of rollercoasters .
