  1. ^Wow, amazing photos! Very well done!
  2. ^I wonder if they actually did that on purpose. And, if so, what that might mean.
  3. ^^Right now the hopes seem to be huge so I'm looking forward to seeing if it really can live up to them.
  4. Finding out Justin Bieber is your brother. What about that?
  5. I know this is not anything special but those wheel covers look like they are shaped slightly differently from the ones used on other inverts. Less round and edgier.
  6. I've only tired one 1st gen freefall and, for some reason, I felt more intimidated than when I rode my first drop tower (Hurakan Condor) which is way taller! And yeah, the KERCHUNK is awesome, yet terrible!
  7. Wow Robb is making this sound like something truly epic! Really looking forward to learning more!
  8. I thought anti roll backs were nearly foolproof. I wonder what could have misaligned the train but I'm glad nobody was injured, although it still sucks when stuff like this happens to a brand new ride.
  9. Are you really sure about that date?
  10. ^I think I was always over not riding it. I mean, apart from the launch, there's nothing really.
  11. Has it been mentioned how banked the turn will be? Just out of curiosity.
  12. ^^Yeah those S&S ones are fun but they're not really drop towers as the car actually gets pulled down and not just dropped, otherwise there would be no negatives, just zero G. I mentioned this because (even though I haven't tried it) many have said it doesn't have the same kick as other drop rides.
  13. ^Me too. On my first ride the trims didn't engage and I got some great air on those last hills and completely lifted out of my seat making it one of the funniest moments I've ever experienced on a coaster.
  14. I was just looking at a video of Lex Luthor DOD from when it opened and they were coordinating superman so that when the cars reached the top the ones from the drop tower were released and noticed that when the timing was perfect the cars from LL actually went slightly faster than superman's. Now I remember being discussed why it doesn't feel as "free-fally" (yup, made that up) as other drop rides like intamin's previous ones and someone suggested (which made sense) that maybe because of the wheel assembly (possibly tighter) the drag was bigger and, therefore, it didn't drop as fast. So this leads me to conclude that what somewhat neutralizes the experience has to be the restraints and so I'll ask: how tight are they?
  15. I really liked steel force's ending (especially in the front). I actually though Stinger was pretty decent: I got no headbanging and the ride pulls some heavy G forces!
  16. No TPR and no coasters! What's worse than the person sitting next to you on a coaster crapping their pants?
  17. ^I quite liked Hydra and thought Steel Force was great fun too. Not an awesome park, but has a decent collection of coasters, I think.
  18. Looking really good so far. I like how fluid the track looks (which, thanks to arrow, almost seem a bit weird)
  19. ^They have, as Koppen mentioned they have at least one at Phantasialand and another at Lotte World, in South Korea.
  20. I didn't realise this part of the ride would have a tunnel.
