Which current record coasters have you ridden?
rcjp replied to rcjp's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I just don't want the lists to be huge as I know many people would have massive ones. Just to keep it simple. I would also have a lot more if I had included coasters that broke a record when they opened. -
Good airtime + good positive Gs. What's better than a long and forceful ride?

Great videos! By the way, how do these vekoma loop screws (like big loop) usually compare to arrow's in terms of comfort? I think they look more fluid and seem to have a better pacing but I've never tried one and only been on one of the arrows. -
^^I wasn't saying that I'd only be pleased if they went for the record, but for most people, having a medium sized drop tower wouldn't sound very appealing. That's why I think they won't do it. Unless they attached it to the back of TTD's tophat and somehow extended the drop tower itself beyond TTD's structure. (but that sounds unlikely)

It would. The lack of trims plus the reduced drag due to the more efficient track should affect the speed greatly! -

A weekend with batman riding a batman clone! What's better than comfortable lap bars on a coaster?

Ok so I had one last night where I was in Japan riding some custom el loco with a extremely funky layout and loads of ejector air but the restraints were something like this: You had one for each leg but they didn't do a really good job of holding you in place so it really was one hell of a ride! -

I still would rather have the opposite. Car-like seatbelts on roller coasters and nothing more. -

Looking really good. Great theming and should be some good fun too! -

That will have to be awesome for airtime given the steepness and height of the drop plus the length of the trains. I expect it to be super ejector! -
^I really like Bizarro. Just like you said, it is smooth, reasonably intense, has a nice set of inversions and has a decent length. However I did find Batman completely smooth when I rode it: not one bit of headbanging. And even though it is shorter than Bizarro, its intensity makes up for that (but that's just me)

Granted, but you'd be force to donate them to some charity company. I wish Kingda Ka didn't have those stupid trims on the top of the tophat. -

^Firehawk? I didn't know it was that popular. Or does it have a particularly low capacity? -

^The headbanging is supposed to liquefy your brain so that you don't remember how bad it was! Very interesting approach... -

^Did Goliath actually get those Premier trains? Because I remember hearing that it was going to get them but then I do not remember it getting them for real. -
Marathoning Skyrush (if it had proper restraints). What's better than no one ever feeling any sort of pain in any ride again?

^Given that rides like outlaw run were only around ten, it can make for something very interesting indeed. -

^That was pretty early considering when it was announced, I don't really remember hearing that.
