  1. Yes I too were reading plenty of comments casting SC in a negative light reading comments like RMC's least creative coaster! I read one comment posted somewhere saying "RMC finally does it!, they've announcement their worst looking coaster so far" HUH WTF!!! along with the usual RMC makeover hate of it's shorter, they should have kept the racing/dueling, they should have added 1000 feet to the lifthill height etc, etc lol Anyways Storm Chaser looks awesome I too can't wait to see that drop constructed and then hope get down their to ride it next year Along with the other new for 2016 Rmc's Lightning Rod and Joker!!!
  2. Seriously??? I don't want to sound like I'm attacking your personally but it's your attitude and many others that I believe is what is decaying society in general. People with your attitude now days are offended by everything and seam like the funny bone, along with common sense has been removed from your bodies. Lighten the EFF UP!!! life is too short to be this damn bitter. I apologize for my rant again not trying to attack or offend anyone Anyways Back to CP and Tony Clark's notes... this is the third time Tony has mentioned RMC, each time with a little more detail which has been CALL, VISIT, and LUNCH. IMO these are bread crumbs, these are not all jokes or meant to tease enthusiast until they cry. I believe Tony in fact has called RMC, Tony or someone Repping CF/CP has visited RMC, Then possibly more brain storming or closing deal lunch with RMC. RMC is the hot ticket, why wouldn't Cedar Fair jump on that bandwagon? The supposedly Six Flags exclusive is coming to a close, so imo it just seams logical for CF/CP to jump on that RMC bandwagon that is rolling at full steam. The total jokes are the monorail and the aquatrax, the Parking garage and the Relocation of Rougaro may actually be future idea's. This is why they're called ideas ,it may or may not ever happen. The Raptor paint shouldn't be no surprise ,it will be in a lot of shots when Valravn opens. I'm sure CP wants Raptor to look great when that area is all over the media.
  3. Who's getting it??? Well my money is placed on a park that never rest on it's laurels, a park that loves First and Record breakers, A park with not one but Three(counting the two sides of one coaster as individuals) Alan Schilke masterpieces. A park looking to install a coaster to add to an already record breaking number of coasters. What better way then to introduce the world (the GP) to a coaster they can bill as ushering in a new era of coaster, a new type of coaster, a First, all things the GP will eat up. So you've got their attention with that, now captivate them with 20th coaster, record height /maybe speed and all the other records and first the park can claim added to the list and you have a recipe for World wide attention, and a huge profitable year(s) and that park if it wasn't obvious is SFMM with SFGADV following imo or it could even go vice versa I just believe SF will get the first T-rex type RMC coaster and it will be of those two parks.
  4. THIS Dang it with CA drought I guess we can cross this state off the list of possible places this concept might have been considered. I also wonder could be turns be incorporated into the layout?
  5. I don't know about how many engineers are here, but I do see we have a non contributing to anything smart A$$ in the house I'll take the compliment, thank you. And I did contribute to the thread early on before all the nay-sayers came aboard questioning RMCs decision to use t-rex track type. I think RMC knows what they're doing at this point, they have proved know-it-all enthusiasts wrong before. He's right. Well I do apologize for making an a$$ out of myself and I do 100% agree with you that RMC knows what they are doing again my bad
  6. I don't know about how many engineers are here, but I do see we have a non contributing to anything smart ass in the house
  7. ^This is my first time ever hearing it referred to as a friction strip, Intamin is the only coasters I've ever see it on. I didn't know it had any purpose far as friction, I thought it was just something Intamin did to their tracks lol
  8. I'm sorry if I sound ignorant but which white friction strips? That White line that's on the track is the friction strips I believe their talking about.
  9. It shouldn't add much weight since it's not actually sand but a Styrofoam pellets or beads that they use to fill the tracks.
  10. That lift looks extremely steep are they going to provide shaded googles for the blazing hot sun in your eyes on that lift Either way Winged trains, Skyrush drop, noninverted loop, Intamin airtime ,twisties galore I'd ride this thing until my body disintegrated if it was located on the Sun
  11. When I see that new track and trains I visualize something built for extreme speeds, maybe heights. I would love for this to turn into RMCs version of the Giga or Stratacoaster they're calling the concept T-Rex with a name like that it has to be a RMC stunner in the makings. I wouldn't be surprised if it's SFMM 20th either
  12. I was in that line even though it was insane it flowed through pretty fast. The park was packed, it was hot as hell I rode Twisted Colossus got 2 Dole Whips and left lol. I am obsessed with Dole Whips that and TC is the only thing I really went for
  13. Well by the way it was running last Monday the re-theme fits perfectly b/c it's so rough it is truly a Shadow of pure evil lol Between Apocalypse, Viper, and X2 one of them or all 3 contributed to destroying my spine
  14. I'm happy that they are finally doing what should of been done years ago on Rev but come on they could have at least thrown in one of those Giant Frisbee's to!!!
  15. Out of all the SF announcements SFDK is getting the best new for 2016 imo, this thing looks absolutely gorgeous and the elements and airtime it's going to have looks like an amazing ride. RMC does it again I bow to the coaster masters... Alan is a GOD!!! lol
  16. Gorgeous pics awesome looking ride Question why does it seam like every manufacturer can make a trimless bunnyhop/airhill except for B&M ? I really would like to know if anyone knows the reason.
  17. Seams like parks all across the country would be beating down Gertslauer's door to get something for their parks that looks as fun/thrilling yet for the entire family as Fire Chaser is, hopefully well be see more of these pop in in the US soon. Maybe Intamin just isn't offering the product US parks are looking for at the moment and this is why we haven't seen them here since 2012. I know for sure they are not dead like I've heard some enthusiast exclaim b/c of this absence just look at all the Intamin goodies popping up over seas.I mean for a dead company since 2012 -2016 they will have opened or currently under construction 17 coasters with B&M so far only one behind at 16. Plus they have the Skyplex deals Intamin is far from dead lol. Anyways sorry for the rambling but I'd love to see bigger more badass Maverick (Intamin Blitz) at KD
  18. Call me a DC/SF fanboy but I happen to like every one of those names you listed lol they're much better then Cedar Fair's ________Hawk the ride, Afterburners, Coastrider just to name a few and also much better then Spinsanity. Just saying that gives me a headache, Spinsanity ...ouch, damn it did it again lol
  19. Oh so lightning Rod isn't the only 2016 coaster with a launched lifthill
