"...get your finger away from the 'quote' button)." (SuperMikeo) I tried pushing that button with my finger. Didn't work so well... Seriously, I'm going to give management time to get things together. What was done at the park over the many years of questionable management cannot be fixed with the snap of a finger. In fact, I think for every year of poor planning, etc., I'd give more than that for a fix. The park will evolve. But in the meantime, it's still a fun place to go. Eric

Worst/Longest/Slowest Line you ever waited in!
ebl replied to Goliathdude's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Psyclone at SFMM. Not a long line, but the fact that a ride on Psyclone was the reward for waiting in it. I've never waited more than 90 minutes for anything, and I never would unless it was a ride at a park that I might never return to. Eric -
"I had no idea this park even had a car ride. It was good, too. There were cows." The very random last sentence in that caption made my day! I have not been to SFKK, but to me, it seems like this is one park that Six Flags could unload should they take that route to try and reorganize under their bankruptcy. But it looks like you had fun, and that's what it's all about. Eric

Reeeeal thick peanut butter sandwiches. For me, peanut butter (and good stuff like the natural kind) is just below chocolate on the heavenly scale. Eric

If you can get through a ride on X2, you can do anything. That's the only ride that I was actually considering backing out of before my first ride. Eric

"Sure the a hole teens are annoying, but they are the ones keeping the park afloat." (atem122) Actually, families (with Mom and Dad and the loot in their purse/wallet) will keep the park afloat. Six Flags knows that, which is one reason they're heading in that direction. (As a parent, I have a LOT more money than my teenage daughter---trust me.) Eric

My note of being upside down that high comes from riding through Viper's 140-foot tall loop and having it not feel any different than a loop only 70 or so feet tall. And, true, a top hat would be different. But I still think a regular top hat in the nearly 500-foot tall range would be more thrilling. Eric

^ I can't do that. I wear Levi's 501s with a button fly. Eric

I don't think there's much of a thrill factor in an inverted top hat. Granted, I've never ridden one, but being upside down that high just doesn't seem like as much of a thrill as the view you get on TTD, Kingda Ka, etc. (I haven't ridden those either, but I have ridden Xcelerator.) As for falling out, the OTSR will keep you in. Granted, it wouldn't be very comfy, but you'd stay put. I wonder if anyone thought of putting drive tires on those rides which could give the train a little "push" over the top to get it unstuck? Eric
