  1. ^ You forgot to guess "boobs," though any boobs that have that metal thing are ones I wouldn't go near... My guess: Part of the master link for a chain. Eric
  2. ^ Yes---from what I've been hearing. "...Zonga formerly of SFDK (and whatever it's called now)..." (Tmcdllr) I think right now it's called "pile of metal." Unless I missed something, I don't think it's been reassembled anywhere. Or maybe it left the country... At least this new coaster will have better capacity than Canyon Blaster. And be a bit longer. Eric
  3. ^ If she does that kind of stuff enough times, HR will tune her out. I've seen that kind of thing happen. Eric
  4. Offhand, I can't think of any tire lifts with any anti-rollbacks, though I'm sure there must be some provision for that. (Jaguar! at Knott's comes to mind.) Do the tires grip tightly enough to stop a train rolling backwards? Can the motors turn the opposite direction or are they ratcheted in some way to only turn one direction. Being such a nerd of the mechanical aspects of coasters, I should know this. Eric
  5. I would say Superman--The Escape. That's an easy one---it's just a big letter "L". Eric
  6. [looks up at the sky and innocently whistles] Nah... Eric
  7. ^^ Remember, too, that Barnstormer and Gadget's Go Coaster run under Disney operation. That would explain the efficient operation. Eric
  8. It only took five years, but I finally changed my signature here. Eric
  9. ^^ Even if you can't e-mail the file, at least save it to an earlier version. Then you can open it at home or anywhere else. And be sure to use more exclamation points. My own rant: It's cold and rainy here, and I want to go out for a walk. Yeah, I still could, but don't exactly want to get back all wet. Eric
  10. ^ Likes what I don't have. < Needs what I don't have. V Needs what he can get at Pic-N-Save!
  11. ^ I've been at Disneyland when Gadget ran two trains, so I've seen it firsthand. But I agree that SFMM will most likely run theirs with only one train. What I'm waiting for next is what name they're going to give it, and what color it'll be painted, if it is repainted. Eric
  12. Usually, but not the silverware. Have you had vermin in your house?
  13. ^ Thinks Knott's is getting a Confused for 2010. < Already has enough confusedes. V Thinks Knott's is Cedar Fair's best park!
  14. "...By the way, its coming from Six Flags New Orleans!" (SFMM's tweet) Don't tell me they're going to try and cram MegaZeph into that spot! I didn't even think of a wild mouse. But not having been to SFNO, I wouldn't have known they had one. Of course, I could have checked RCDB, too. Now I wonder if it'll run two trains (as I've seen on Gadget's Go Coaster) or just one. Eric
  15. ^ When I was at SFMM last Sunday, I saw what had been cleared up to that point, and in my opinion, it didn't even look big enough for a Roller Skater---and definitely not the right shape of area, either---too long and not wide enough. Eric
  16. "Age: look to the left for up to date age!" (pianojohn) It's...not on there... Eric
  17. ^ I wish they would, too. Then I can have your pie. Eric
  18. ^ That's correct, but they didn't hide that in the commercials or print ads. Eric
  19. Seems like the tram could have used a track design that was more slim than the structural steel lattice that they did use. Unless, of course, it was meant to stand out. My last time in Las Vegas was in 2006, so it's time for me to go and check this out. Eric
  20. Back in 1988 when Ninja was opened, SFMM used footage and photos of The Big Bad Wolf (BGW/E). It was interesting to me even then that they used media from a competing company and not XLR8 (AstroWorld) from their own company. Eric
  21. ^ There are only two members whose names turn red...can you name them? Eric
  22. Stright and straight. Do you use Christmas stamps when you send out your cards?
  23. ^ Considering that we don't really know what's in 'em, yeah... Eric
  24. $3.01 for lunch at Jack in the Box --- two tacos and a large Diet Coke. Eric
  25. New coaster details... Any. Day. Now. Eric
