Coming to SFMM in 2011: Epacse Eht---Namrepus. Very interesting how Tower of Terror down in Australia has turned its car around. I didn't know they were doing that. Obviously, it's quite possible and should be a very interesting and thrilling experience experience. I will admit that I was skeptical about this, but am glad to be proven wrong. Eric

"I've got a user in one of my environments that has 484 shortcuts on her desktop... This woman works for Psychology office." (generaleclectic) Any surprise that she works in the psychology office? Eric

^ I've heard of Mezzo Mix, but of course, have not had it since they don't sell it here in the U.S. If you mix in baking extracts or Torani syrup, you can create almost any flavor. So far, I've done raspberry, peach, mint, amaretto, strawberry, and banana. All are good except mint. The other day here at home, I found a bottle of sugar-free Torani gingerbread syrup... Anyway, I like the Studio 6F idea. I think I read somewhere that most---if not all---Six Flags parks will get something like this. Eric

^ Sounds like...maybe...you did it? Eric

^ I got in line for Terminator about 2:30 and had on a white T-shirt and was wearing a lightweight red jacket. Also, I did notice that there appeared to be more Mr. Six's DanceCoaster pieces behind Terminator. About Valencia Falls...I believe that was originally shut off for Tatsu's construction, wasn't it? Or for some routine maintenance. Eric

I was at SFMM today and didn't notice anything out in the parking lot except cars. Otherwise, it was sort of a busy day. I arrived about 12:30. After a spin on Ninja, I waited almost an hour to ride Terminator. Dispatches were so slow I thought they were only running one train, but they had both of them going. I rode on Train 2 in the back row and the ride was actually a bit rough. Riddler's Revenge had the sign announcing the availability of the Single Rider Line today, so I took advantage. Also, I stopped at the new Studio 6F to try one of their 106 drink flavors. I got Caffeine Free Diet Coke and added orange flavor. I've already done that at home, so I got it to compare. Orange and Coke do go well together; I never understood why they did Lime, Lemon, and Cherry, but never Orange. I waited almost an hour to ride X2. The audio on Train 1 was fine going up the lift, but right when it was supposed to say, "GOING DOWWWWNNN..." the sound just cut off and that was the last I heard. The fire was off, too, perhaps because of the big brushfire out west of Palmdale. Strangely, though, Terminator's fire was on. Eric

^ Speaking of peaches, I have two white peach trees in my backyard. And two lemon trees. And an orange tree. Eric

^ Revolution's restraints were modified in the early '90s. Having been modified, they had to comply with the law as it stood at the time of the modification. They simply can't go back to just lap bars. I'm just glad I got to ride it in '76, long before the OTSRs and even headrests that first season. Eric

It's on my bucket list. Did your folks tell you about the "birds and the bees?"

I've said it before, and it's worth saying again: I like how SFMM isn't adding a coaster each and every year like they were in the late '90s/early '00s. The two- to three-year period between them is just right and gives us a chance to appreciate them. It's a far cry from 2000 when Goliath opened and a lot of enthusiasts were all excited ---for all of about two months before they started wondering what was coming next year. Eric

Right now, with the world record in number of inversions, it's time for SFMM to take a break from doing anything loopy. Even though they went with an off the shelf Roller Skater as a family coaster, I still think there's room for a Pandemonium/Tony Hawk type ride. That would round out the family end of the collection in my opinion. Think we'll ever see 20 coasters at the same time at SFMM? Eric

"I can get three soft shell tacos (meat and cheese only), an order of nacho chips, and a pop for around $5." (manisteechips) So, who pops you? Eric

My feeling is that I'm lucky to live 45 minutes from what I consider to be a decent collection of coasters. Maybe not the world's greatest, but for the most part a lot of fun. The fact that Scream! is built over a parking lot has actually given me a few laughs because I always think about how much whining is done about that and how it makes no difference about the quality of the ride itself. I do look forward to what SFMM has in store for us in the years ahead. Eric

Nope. Do you eat at all after midnight?

^ Maybe they should consider moving Scream! over to that area and giving it a new theme. Just a thought. I've often wondered if Scream! and Colossus aren't that busy is partly because you have to walk a ways to get there---and there isn't much to see or do in that area. And, admittedly, these days Colossus ain't what it used to be. Perhaps after a Texas Giant style makeover in a couple of years that could change. Eric

To me, Scream! is something for SFMM to deal with in the future once some other issues are resolved. But as for the ride itself, I have no complaints about it. And with normally short lines, it's easy to catch a ride or two on it. I've always thought that with all the complaining about its "parking lot theme," SFMM ought to have some fun with that and "jazz up" the parking lot below it---throw in some random stuff and make some inside jokes while they're at it.
