  1. ^ More like "getting down" if you know what I mean... Eric
  2. "Because the expression should be 'I couldN'T care less'." (Purplepills) You are absolutely right, and I know I've already ranted about that one. It falls on deaf ears. But I could care less... Nowadays, I'm hearing more and more people end sentences with "and stuff like that." Very lazy way of speaking if you ask me. Eric
  3. ^ Why so many grades? Here in Calfornia, it's generally 87, 89, and 91. Eric
  4. ^ Spybot S&D is OK, but not as good as it used to be. Mine hardly ever catches anything. And, yes, porn brings home some not-so-nice things to your computer. I don't look at it, but know people who do---and they've paid. Eric
  5. Sadly, no. There aren't any around here, and I don't travel very often. Do you visit the TPR chat room?
  6. "Something to do with how they got burned with Superman?" (NYTrojan) I've heard that was it. "Did you ride it at WCB? Unridable!" (RIP Psyclone) No, but I gave it some thought. It's really hard for me to ride it anymore, especially because I rode it in 1976 when it was great! Eric
  7. ^ Trade ya! Eric
  8. ^^ I've only ridden two Boomerangs---the one at Knott's, and the one at SFDK. The latter has the newer trains (like SFFT), but I don't see much of a difference. In the last couple of years, I've finally learned how to ride without the headbashing, so the ride isn't uncomfortable for me. Eric
  9. "I would love to pull up to the park and see an Amazing Intamin ride!" (SharkTums) Now that the old "anti-Intamin" management is gone, we may well see an Intamin creation or two in the years ahead. I'd like that. Eric
  10. You can get AdAware for free. That's considered a good program to get rid of it. It's free---Google it. And once you get the program, be sure to check for and download the latest virus definition files and run the program weekly. Eric
  11. ^ That is a nice touch for the loop. If they do bring it back, it'll be one of those "little" things that'll happen down the road. One good thing: Jay already said that Revolution will always be white. I can't picture it any other color. Eric
  12. ^ Not sure I'd use a product that prints its labels backwards. Eric
  13. ^ Hopefully Six Flags used the same 15-year no-fade paint as they did at SFMM! Eric
  14. "Cali is $4 gal? Is that regular?" (silverstreak) It's almost that for regular. I paid $3.859 the other day. Some places are selling mid-grade for $4.10 and up. Premium and diesel are getting close to $4.50. Eric
  15. ^ I'd feel the same way with respect to an earthquake here in California, only we can't see 'em coming! Eric
  16. Nice Photo TR from a park that I'd like to visit sometime. Goliath looks nice...interesting thing, a mirror-image Batman clone with seven-car trains instead of the usual eight-car ones. Eric
  17. Diana's ride. It isn't her exact car, but it's the same model and color. I forgot I had this picture: My car when it was new, but it still looks like this.
  18. ^ Types on tape. < Types on keyboard. V Types on buildings!
  19. Nope. Only one. Do you like cream cheese on your bagels?
  20. ^ Eh, you borrowed one of California's earthquakes. Occasionally, we borrow one of your tornadoes. It's all good. Eric
  21. Originally, what is now Food, Etc. was the Oasis Cafeteria. They had salads, entrees, desserts, drinks that you picked up as you moved through the line. After paying, you sat down and enjoyed the meal. Of course, now it's the basic food court. Not a bad thing, but not as nice as Oasis once was. A nice sit down restaurant would be nice, and the former Laughing Dragon location is ideal. Eric
  22. Because supermarkets need a single-rider line to fill in the extra spaces. Why did they name those stuffed tortilla thingies "burritos?"
  23. Yes. It's when my head hits the pillow. Do you have a significant other in your life?
  24. "What is that building at the bottom of the Sky Tower? It looks like it used to be some kind of restaurant with all of the tables outside of it." (sns2015) It was a fast food place at one time. I know it was called "Ninja Dogs" during some of its life. A restaurant in the Sky Tower is a nice idea, but logistically it could be a nightmare. (Think about running plumbing/natural gas for cooking, restrooms, etc.) My guess is that there are plans for the top of the mountain at some point, but there are other things that have some priority. Eric
  25. No, because the coaster will still be there the next day and it doesn't matter if I'm first or not. Do you collect anything (and lint doesn't count!)?
