The Mysterious B&M Green Wingrider Track
spinning man replied to GigaG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
B&M's headquarters are in europe yes and they make their trains there. But all their track is made in ohio due to the costs of steel. -
The Mysterious B&M Green Wingrider Track
spinning man replied to GigaG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For some reason Terra Mitica in spain, popped into my head. I don't think terra mitica has had a major attraction for sometime, and also since that new company bought the park there could be a chance. Hopefully they get this wing rider, because that is the worst theme park I've ever been to and it needs something to make it great again. -

I think they should have made the wood around the mouth more smashed to make it look as it has actually torn through the end of the ship. Anyway, other than that very impressive. I wonder how close that mouth feels. -

I have a feeling this is going to be a huge coaster, or even possibly a world's first. A interesting one at that. But yes, we will have to wait. -

I had the chance to ride the swarm today, and all I can say is that it is incredible. Especially going upside down after the lift hill without holding onto the restraints just really does make you fall out of your seat. I loved the parts on the zero-g roll and the corkscrew where it just kind of stops and pushes your whole body forward then kicks you back again, in a comfortable way. And the station flyover is just perfect. Everything of The Swarm is perfect, though I think the effects need a bit of work on them. Also, the new toilets are nice. -

Age restrictions on rides?
spinning man replied to andre8's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
SAW alive as well as SAW-The ride at thorpe park, has an age limit for 12 year olds, but the public ignore it. From my opinion some attractions should have age limits depending on what theme they have even if the public ignore it. -

Though I am nowhere near Canada's wonderland, I am excited by this project. Looking up to be a great ride indeed. Photos taken from their facebook page. -

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
spinning man replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
SAW-The ride. A good rough ride to end the day at a park. -
Well, I didn't know where to put this topic, but everytime I go to a theme park and I come back to go to bed, I can't go to sleep because it feels like the world is spinning so fast and as if I'm falling. Only when I sit upright do I then feel normal and that feeling gets lost. I've just been wondering if anybody has experienced anything like it, and if so if you have any tips, advice or techniques to get rid of that feeling, because that creates some of the worst nights for me. Thanks.

You forgot about les cougan, on THE SWARM island. -
Thanks. Will look into it more. EDIT:If you want to post anymore suggestions for theme parks to visit, that would be fine.
-
Thanks for all the responses. I'll have a look through and devise a trip from all the info obtained. One other question, since i don't know much about hotels there. Is there a hotel company who are good for price? Well, I mean something like holiday inn, like here in england.

Glorious mess of a map. -
Well, it is a high possibilty i'm going to go with some of my family, so my father will take care of the driving matter. Towards what I call a sensible distance, that would be a area of 133 miles in radius.
-
Well to rephrase my question, which airport in the USA has some of the best theme parks around the area, other than florida, where one would have to travel a sensible distance to reach them. Ignore the rest about the hotels and stuff for now. For the thing about rollercoasters, I would prefer to go to a park with some of the best coasters in the world. I hope I made things simpler. There are of course many other parks in that region depending on how far you want to expand your driving radius.
-
Well, for my 18th my parents are letting me do whatever I want as a present. So I decided to possibly go to the USA to go to the theme parks, but I am undecided as to which to visit. I can't go to every single one, even though I would love to, but I will come up with a final list rellying on the responses I get.
