I'm happy to see that plot of land put to REAL use.

I chose Alpengiest because of it's use of terrain...and that cobra roll!

My favorite coaster-in-the-rain memory was riding The Beast in a complete downpour.

Rode Escape from Pompeii by myself once on a "cool" spring day...mostly because of the warm fire effects in the ride. I screamed like mad on the drop and made many who were watching question my sanity. It is really interesting how the tone changes when you are the only rider.

Right now that area contains the Black Forest picnic grounds, the old Drachen Fire station, which houses a haunt maze during Howl-O-Scream, the Drachen Fire barn, and a big, huge grassy area *cough cough*

My airtime face is almost exactly like the blue-shirt guy on Cyclops...only with eyes open...which is probably creepier.

AMAZING report! Can't help but get a little "misty-eyed" listening to Richard Sherman sing and play Small World. Can't wait for part 3!!

I'll be there for sure! Looking forward to seeing the park during spring again!

I rode SoB opening week and can honestly say that was the only "good" ride I had on it. Looking forward to what they put there in the future!

This past summer at King's Dominion as I was waiting in line for i305, a kid waiting in line next to me told me that i305 got its name because 305 people total have died on the ride.

As someone who is a huge fan of the original Test Track, I have to say that I am extremely impressed with the changes. I was, though, a bit skeptical at first. And WOW, some of those projections look incredible! Can't wait to see this in person.

I love Camden Park! Great little place amidst the mountains.

Anyone else going to brave the heat tomorrow for the last Verbolten ERT session this month?

I plan on going this Saturday to check out Verbolten. What can I expect in terms of crowds both at Verbolten and other attractions? The next two days can't go by fast enough!

^Today was a crowded day for BGW. The first hour of the park being open was not bad at all! Everything was pretty much a walk on as usual. But then, crowds REALLY started to pick up! So much that they had to use their overflow parking. My guess is that much of the area is on spring break. I am also planning on returning Saturday and am hoping the crowds are more manageable. @Chuck- I have also wondered about the DarKastle pre-show. I have been about 5 times since pass holder day, and so far, that was the only day they did the full pre-show. But I am glad the fireplace scene is working again!
