thanks for the great trip report @coneyislandchris although I'm not a "waterpark person". . . the theming here is incredible, and if the cost were to drop a bit, I'd happily spend a day there just wandering around, maybe riding things once, and just taking in the atmosphere.

I'm glad you mentioned this! I figured there were settings to not have the forum look so "dark". . but I've had no luck finding where "themes" are to adjust. can you advise where to go to change theme?

what is this "Member's Reputation" metric ? is it based on how many "likes" a post gets or something? Oh, and just getting to play in Messages section, and it looks like we now have a limit of 50 messages? Actually, I don't know if that's a "limit" or it just notifies you. . . but since been on TPR since 2011, I have ~548 messages, and I'm seeing the following at the top of the page: so not sure if any kind of issue, or anything even to address. .but I noticed it, so mentioning for your awareness.

AHA. . it animates when I hold my Mouse over your Avatar. so it's static unless I'm hovering over it. Then I see the bumping I'm used to seeing. but you can put the Gif in your signature, right?

on my desktop system, using Chrome - I see the Manatee. . but it's a static image. so no movement that I see here.

Looking forwards to getting back to Fiesta this coming Saturday. Hopefully the park won't be slammed this close to Halloween, but regardless - gonna mask up and have a great time!

Really like the updates that I've played around with thus far, Robb. I don't really do much on my phone, and tend to mainly come to TPR on my Desktop, but the changes look great on that system. A little bit of learning curve for me (I be dum with the computery stuff ) but hell, if I can figure out how to quote and insert stuff? Then pretty much anyone should be able to. The only thing that's been "hinky" for me that I've noticed thus far? When quoting a post that contains a quoted post? I seem to lose the original post that was included and only see the response from the 2nd person. but that absolutely is likely a user error on my part. Will continue experimenting and see if I can figure out what I'm doing wrong there. but my feedback thus far?

It's funny, isn't it? as "antiseptic" as the place looks, I kinda feel the same way - I would feel uneasy. Like, it's a pretend veneer of "clean". . but everything is sticky. LOL

We've lost a lot of folks in the past couple of weeks. Tho to me, biggest loss has been Eddie Van Halen. R.I.P.

my Heart is breaking for those Disney Castmembers who are being affected sounds like some areas are being very hard hit. Hopefully when the parks reopen, many will be rehired (I suspect the mass layoff is mainly to get the numbers off the books for the fiscal year). Still it's a terrible time for things like this to happen. I understand it, but still very sad about it.

yay! tho it does make me a bit sad, since was planning to go visit for the 1st time this year. waaaaah. But hopefully relatively soon (or at least by next year), the travel restrictions from US will relax - and make a visit a possibility. this Disney Park looks so gorgeous.

put me in the camp of not caring for the new Mindbender sign. I mean, I get it - they wanted to make the signs consistent in the Gotham area - but I too LOVED that neon question-mark, and wish they had left it and simply put the new sign on posts to the left of the entrance path. weird to see them change the (in my opinion much better name) "Gotham City Crime Wave" to match what SFFT did with their similar ride. DC SuperVillian's Swing just isn't that great of a name .. tho it does appear that in addition to the repaint to make it match the SFFT version, SFOG now also has the wood cutout of the Villains. So that makes sense they repainted to add Deathstroke to the ride, since the cutout features him prominently. Harley looks fantastic (as does Ivy, and the new Catwoman ride). That's still the "old" version of Tilt-A-Whirl tho. . . not the next-gen version that spins so much more. But maybe the refurbed cars still will spin more? the area looks great. . thanks for the pics (and thanks to you too, Lotologist for the entrance pics).

i'm sorry, if I took it wrong. it's been a rough day, and that I should be going to Atlanta tomorrow (but not because of this stupid Pandemic - and so I'm going to be sitting at home wasting time off instead of being at Dragon*con) really has me in a dark place at the moment. i'm really missing my friends whom I only see once a year, and was looking forwards to hanging with. oh, we'll be online, since the con is going virtual. .but it's not the same
