I'm still hoping we get an announcement of when they will reopen and what restrictions might be. we're still planning on going in late July, but we haven't purchased tix yet, as getting them from the on-site Hotel. I'm waiting for the dates, before I call the hotel to confirm there won't be any issues - you know - actually getting into the park, as we're staying "on site". not complaining, just explaining. . .LOL. . . eagerly waiting for dates to be announced! -
Either of those, the park will be more crowded, because the Waterpark "land" is closed, so it's not there to drain folks from the dry side of the park. keeping in mind, any "historic" info is out the window, because who knows how Covid is going to affect the crowds once it opens. *but*. . . I can tell you Fright Fest tends to draw crowds, especially in the evenings once the haunts open. So between the two? I'd go for November. either time will be much cooler, than coming over the Summer (tho as noted, the Summer has the waterpark section open, so the dry parts of the park are way less busy, tho it is MUCH hotter). hope that helps? (and I DO think the parks will be open in July for certain)

^ he was INCREDIBLY polarizing. but as I said on my FB "Love him, Hate him, or Despise him. . . he made a difference, and I'll forever be thankful that he was here." R.I.P. Larry Kramer. ACT UP! FIGHT BACK! FIGHT AIDS!

^ just saw that, and while I'm not sure how the virtual queue is gonna work (going to be a learning curve for me, as this technology challenged "mundane" will have to figure out how to download and operate an app ) but I'll adapt and learn how to do it. this is pretty much what I was expecting, so I'm glad they are not doing anything really crazy. as this is the United States? I expect there will be TONS of privileged folks claiming "medical" exemptions for excuse not to wear a mask. will be extremely disappointed if they start issuing a lot of exemptions.

with gift cards for my Bday, they ended up costing me ~$19 but they retail for much more than that (in the ~$140 range) I have a pair of Gladiators (blue leather with steel toe), that I got in Vancouver many years ago (on that famous shopping street y'all have there), that I think I paid ~$200 American for (and still have).

No new pics posted here in months. . . so here's me in my new (impulse buy) boots that I got yesterday in the mail. was celebrating staying on track and hitting my stretch goal for my weight loss, so bought something frivolous from Amazon.

I thought I heard something about them putting a train loop. . or doing shuttles. I wonder if that ever happened? whatever happened with the land they were clearing and working on for the Bird Expansion (that we saw when we were there in 2017). . .I know that plan didn't happen, but the land was already being cleared and worked on. . did anything go there? -

Update after weighing last week (but not posting). . I'm tantalizingly close to my Stretch Goal weight! . . so here's today's update: 2/18: 218 lbs 2/28: 209.4 lbs 3/6: 206.4 lbs 3/11: 205.2 lbs 3/18: 201.6 lbs 3/25: 198.8 lbs 4/01: 196.2 lbs 4/08: 192.8 lbs 4/18: 189.0 lbs 4/24: 188.0 lbs 5/07: 185.0 lbs 5/15: 183.4 lbs 5/22: 180.6 lbs (So down ~38 lbs). so in just over 3 months, was able to almost lose back down to where I was before (yay) and puts me ~ 1/2 lb from stretch goal. -

it it's going where Topple Tower was? then it's literally across the walkway from Dragon Mountain (and just up the "street" from the bear ride & Orca Teacups) but yeah. .it's a long ass haul to get back over there from the front gates -
how is this your 1st post, if you have done the things you talk about in the above post? were you someone else before and rejoined as a new account? I come here, because I really like many (actually most) of the people who post in the messageboards/forums, and I consider them an extended/online family. I like seeing pictures of people I've met, and those I enjoy chatting with on the boards. Be it about Theme Parks, shows, music, or just about anything.

I'm shopping for us every ~2 1/2 weeks. today's total was ~$140

I would think that as long as YOU make the main reservation, they simply get added to yours, and your whole party is together. the F.A.Q. does say you can add anyone to your reservation, you just have to input their membership/pass number. so I expect this will not be an issue. eagerly awaiting the announcement of how they are going to handle queuing inside the park, and when I'll be able to visit SFFT again!

100% agreed with both of y'all in that I'd TOTALLY go under these conditions! (I too watched a bunch of stuff people have posted, mainly a twitter feed that Robb recommended). also agreed that USA guests "are not going to behave anywhere near like they are in Shanghai". . . but at least I would HOPE that those that make an effort to pre-arrange things on their trips might be slightly better behaved / more willing to follow rules - than I think the attendees will be at some other park chains that are going to try these measures. fingers crossed that Americans prove me wrong and we can all get back to enjoying things, even tho the way we enjoy will be slightly different! -

Hit my Goal today! I took a week off (from weighing, not from exercising) to help counteract 4 days of Birthday Cake (hey, only two of us here. . and that full cake wasn't gonna eat itself). . so here's today's update: 2/18: 218 lbs 2/28: 209.4 lbs 3/6: 206.4 lbs 3/11: 205.2 lbs 3/18: 201.6 lbs 3/25: 198.8 lbs 4/01: 196.2 lbs 4/08: 192.8 lbs 4/18: 189.0 lbs 4/24: 188.0 lbs 5/07: 185.0 lbs (My Goal weight! So down exactly 33lbs). which puts me only 5 lbs from stretch goal. but the most exciting thing?? I can fit in my Godzilla shirts I bought in Tokyo back in Oct, and figured I'd just have as Souvenirs forever. yay me! -

I commented on the TPR FB group, that this reminds me very much of Apollo's Chariot (which I LOVE, so that's not a slam at all). not sure how many elements are similar, but it reminds me of that. . .can't wait to ride this, as I'm sure it will quickly become my 2nd favorite in the park - behind Stormrunner.
