^ just saw that, and while I'm not sure how the virtual queue is gonna work (going to be a learning curve for me, as this technology challenged "mundane" will have to figure out how to download and operate an app ) but I'll adapt and learn how to do it. this is pretty much what I was expecting, so I'm glad they are not doing anything really crazy. as this is the United States? I expect there will be TONS of privileged folks claiming "medical" exemptions for excuse not to wear a mask. will be extremely disappointed if they start issuing a lot of exemptions.

Yup. . Robson!

with gift cards for my Bday, they ended up costing me ~$19 but they retail for much more than that (in the ~$140 range) I have a pair of Gladiators (blue leather with steel toe), that I got in Vancouver many years ago (on that famous shopping street y'all have there), that I think I paid ~$200 American for (and still have).

No new pics posted here in months. . . so here's me in my new (impulse buy) boots that I got yesterday in the mail. was celebrating staying on track and hitting my stretch goal for my weight loss, so bought something frivolous from Amazon.

I thought I heard something about them putting a train loop. . or doing shuttles. I wonder if that ever happened? whatever happened with the land they were clearing and working on for the Bird Expansion (that we saw when we were there in 2017). . .I know that plan didn't happen, but the land was already being cleared and worked on. . did anything go there? -

Update after weighing last week (but not posting). . I'm tantalizingly close to my Stretch Goal weight! . . so here's today's update: 2/18: 218 lbs 2/28: 209.4 lbs 3/6: 206.4 lbs 3/11: 205.2 lbs 3/18: 201.6 lbs 3/25: 198.8 lbs 4/01: 196.2 lbs 4/08: 192.8 lbs 4/18: 189.0 lbs 4/24: 188.0 lbs 5/07: 185.0 lbs 5/15: 183.4 lbs 5/22: 180.6 lbs (So down ~38 lbs). so in just over 3 months, was able to almost lose back down to where I was before (yay) and puts me ~ 1/2 lb from stretch goal. -

it it's going where Topple Tower was? then it's literally across the walkway from Dragon Mountain (and just up the "street" from the bear ride & Orca Teacups) but yeah. .it's a long ass haul to get back over there from the front gates -
how is this your 1st post, if you have done the things you talk about in the above post? were you someone else before and rejoined as a new account? I come here, because I really like many (actually most) of the people who post in the messageboards/forums, and I consider them an extended/online family. I like seeing pictures of people I've met, and those I enjoy chatting with on the boards. Be it about Theme Parks, shows, music, or just about anything.

I'm shopping for us every ~2 1/2 weeks. today's total was ~$140

I would think that as long as YOU make the main reservation, they simply get added to yours, and your whole party is together. the F.A.Q. does say you can add anyone to your reservation, you just have to input their membership/pass number. so I expect this will not be an issue. eagerly awaiting the announcement of how they are going to handle queuing inside the park, and when I'll be able to visit SFFT again!

100% agreed with both of y'all in that I'd TOTALLY go under these conditions! (I too watched a bunch of stuff people have posted, mainly a twitter feed that Robb recommended). also agreed that USA guests "are not going to behave anywhere near like they are in Shanghai". . . but at least I would HOPE that those that make an effort to pre-arrange things on their trips might be slightly better behaved / more willing to follow rules - than I think the attendees will be at some other park chains that are going to try these measures. fingers crossed that Americans prove me wrong and we can all get back to enjoying things, even tho the way we enjoy will be slightly different! -

Hit my Goal today! I took a week off (from weighing, not from exercising) to help counteract 4 days of Birthday Cake (hey, only two of us here. . and that full cake wasn't gonna eat itself). . so here's today's update: 2/18: 218 lbs 2/28: 209.4 lbs 3/6: 206.4 lbs 3/11: 205.2 lbs 3/18: 201.6 lbs 3/25: 198.8 lbs 4/01: 196.2 lbs 4/08: 192.8 lbs 4/18: 189.0 lbs 4/24: 188.0 lbs 5/07: 185.0 lbs (My Goal weight! So down exactly 33lbs). which puts me only 5 lbs from stretch goal. but the most exciting thing?? I can fit in my Godzilla shirts I bought in Tokyo back in Oct, and figured I'd just have as Souvenirs forever. yay me! -

I commented on the TPR FB group, that this reminds me very much of Apollo's Chariot (which I LOVE, so that's not a slam at all). not sure how many elements are similar, but it reminds me of that. . .can't wait to ride this, as I'm sure it will quickly become my 2nd favorite in the park - behind Stormrunner. -

^ that's great news. they wouldn't be testing if they weren't planning on opening this summer (at least that's how i'm gonna look at it) -
oh, and TeacherKim. . I did see from . . .hmm. . can't recall, maybe it was on CNN? about the Six Flags chain, and it sounded like the call they had the other day, listed a handful of parks they are planning to get open (if infection numbers hold steady/decrease) include both Texas parks. (SFFT & SFOT). It also included SFOG & SFStL. . so maybe that 5/18 date is real? anyone else see that info?

just to note, since I don't see anyone responded here. *unless* you are talking the level of PPE that Hospitals are using? the masks that the vast, vast majority are going to be using - be it a disposable, a cloth/washable one, or a bandana/homemade one - DO NOT prevent you from getting the virus. Keying off your comment here: the mask becomes moist and doesn't stop the virus from entering your nose or mouth anymore. the whole point of covering your face, is so you can avoid spreading the virus if you have it / are asymptomatic - ie: the mask covers your mouth/nose, so that you don't expel any virus into the air. yes, your personal mask might help reduce your risk, but really, the request to wear the mask is to keep any virus you may have, within your own mask. (see the "urine" Meme I posted a couple of pages back, that helps illustrate this). with that explanation, you can see that you wouldn't have to switch out your own mask multiple times per day. Although if one is removing it to eat/drink, I likely would bring along a spare to swap out after.. .but I don't see THAT particular issue (needing multiple masks) being too much of a problem.

Good reference. Live long... too bad many of us don't live in a Star Trek Country where "the needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few. or the one" as A.J. mentions. . almost NO masks out and about in local park here either. and large groups hanging out close to each other as well. Way too many selfish, self-centered, idiots living in America. this is why we can't ever have nice things but I'm choosing to remain optimistic, and hoping for a really good outcomes going forward. Great news on Holiday World, and really keeping fingers crossed that our delayed trip to Carowinds (which we moved to end of July) is going to really happen!

well. . how bout that?
