  1. me and Roxxi. . when she was still a playful puppy.
  2. I only recognize two of those Village People! what happened to Glenn and David Hodo???
  3. Give him some slack, folks, he's a new member, and he's 14. don't hang him just because he's gotten tangled while figuring out the ropes Fame gave you links to the individual threads that will answer your questions. .but I'll chime in to add: I'm not a "Coaster Junkie" -- I can take them or leave them, and we often skip some big coasters when visiting parks depending on how we feel: (Dominator & Grizzly at Kings Dominion, Fahrenheit at Hershey Park, and Stinger at Dorney are just a few examples). we enjoy Theme Parks, so to us a coaster is just another ride to either go on, or not. Our favorite flats are Troika's and Enterprises, and topping the list: Log Flumes. as such, we don't really keep a coaster count, we just go to a park to enjoy it. . .
  4. "Fat Person Seat" is kind of offensive. maybe try "Big Boy Seat" ? it sounds less judgmental. . but otherwise, great pics.
  5. I'm guessing Crazy Legs rethemes and stays where it is. the Catwoman ride will fit where Batwing is now (unless it's staying. .but the announcement of Gotham expanding only references Batman and Mr. Freeze coasters alongside the new rides ). . . the Riddler is likely going in the spot where Flashback was, with the BumperCars building as the queue. just a guess.
  6. I wonder that too! My guess is that Crazy Legs is getting a repaint as Harley. . but I also notice that Batwing is not mentioned. . so does that mean that Catwoman's Whip is going to be replacing that? (meaning net gain is only 1 ride . . .Riddler).
  7. we were just at Kings Dominion in June, and chose to bypass Shockwave, Grizzly, and Dominator. I think even if we knew at the time that Shockwave was going to be closing? we still would have skipped it
  8. You mean this one? It's great and does move! We get lots of compliments on it. Glad to have some fellow magnet lovers on here yep, that's it! our fridge is COVERED with magnets, from the Parks, and trips we take.
  9. where did they announce Frisbee is going away? that's a shame, as it's one of my favorite rides in the park. but a Boardwalk, really does need a good coaster (so hopefully Pandemonium is gone)
  10. we couldn't find a good coaster magnet, but did pick up one they have of the Ferris Wheel. . the not only rotates, but the individual cars spin too. . we love it.
  11. I thought about riding it, but I always feel awkward riding kiddie coasters lol. I've missed quite a few credits due to this awkwardness not us
  12. huh. . don't see Pandemonium in that pic.
  13. shame you missed Woodstock Express at KD. . that was by far our fave woodie at the park, and a TON of airtime for a jr. coaster.
  14. warning if you are "Testicularly blessed". . . don't ride unless you are wearing snug undies. those bunny hop hills, are Not kind, and I regretted having worn loose boxers
  15. My feeling is that if we do open up tours again, we would probably start with Club TPR Members. all one can hope for! thanks. .
  16. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll do a Club TPR eligible members tour in the next few years. I'd love to do some overseas parks, and my partner won't fly to Foreign lands. so my only chance I'll ever get to go to these bucket list places is likely on a TPR tour I'm not holding my breath, but I am crossing my fingers that maybe in 2016 you'll decide to do another tour !
  17. If you mean disk, then hell yeah! no, I meant desk. . it looks like instructions for a desk you would buy at Ikea
  18. I305 a couple of months back
  19. "a car with square wheels going down a road full of potholes" and i stand by that assessment. Ride LR & Comet first, since you won't want to go near a woodie after Wildcat.
  20. I liked it, tho some of the footage (for an enthusiast. . at least for a TPR website enthusiast ) was a bit dated -- ie: the footage at SFMM was filmed before Colossus was converted (or burned!). . .so that made me wonder how long they'd been working on the show. but I liked it, and so did my Partner -- we watched together. Loved seeing Tory and Kari (as I noted above), and thought they are a very good fit for what the show is trying to explain. Lots of time spent showing beautiful footage too. And we geeked over the Nothing But Net segment in Dallas. . since I recognized the drop ride from here, and it's just up I35 from us
  21. I was thrilled to see them on TV again. Sucked when they were booted off Mythbusters. . . but good fit here for the kind of show they are doing.
  22. agreed. .did not see a manta clone in the background. (didn't see TPR/Robb thanked either tho. . but I'm sure there must have been something in the credits. .they just went by REAL fast)
