  1. I've been on Vortex, Mantis, and Riddler's Revenge, Riddler's is the best! Insane drop, large loop, crazy inversions, height, long ride...it's got it all.
  2. Home park: USH Favorite Park: IoA Kind of ironic isn't it?
  3. No, this is actually someone I know very well. Even though my relationship to this person will remain confidential, I will say that wasn't Dick Kenzil. (Sorry if I misspelled his last name).
  4. **When talking with someone I know about the rumored Stark Expo going into DL** Me: ...I heard they were planning on putting the Iron Man/Stark Expo attraction where Innoventions was, but they put it on the back burner due to concerns of crowds. I mean, with the new Star Tours, you could only imagine what it would be like... GP: Why not put it in Frontierland? There's room over there. Me: But that would be wildly out of theme. How would you like to walk through an old west trail and find a futuristic expo there? GP: So? -________-
  5. Just took the survey. I'm quite interested in seeing the results.
  6. Other movies I want to add: -Rob Zombie's Lords of Salem -The Haunted Mansion
  7. I don't believe he has, but a guy like that deserves to be introduced to Vekoma.
  8. I'm going to put chips on the table that this will be a flat ride.
  9. I am a bit surprised they are going on with the reboot during the the peak season. Wouldn't it make more sense to do it during the fall and into the late winter/spring and then have it open in time for Summer? I know that Epcot has several other attractions throughout the park, but this probably won't bode well with the majority of the general pubic who will be coming in from out-of-state as TT is a very popular attraction. Whatever the case, I'm glad to see the ride get a big update.
  10. I thought I would make this thread just for fun. Simply list the movies you wish to see come 2012. -The Woman in Black -Men in Black 3 -The Dark Knight Rises (Of course!) -The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D -Brave -Paranormal Activity 4 -Battleship -The Amazing Spider-man -Ghostrider: Spirit of Vengence -The Lorax -The Raven -Snow White and the Huntsman -The Hobbit -Pirates! Band of Misfits! -Halloween 3D -The Avengers -Prometheus -Madagascar 3 -Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter -ParaNorman -The Expendables 2 What movies are you looking forward to seeing?
  11. In the comments for Tokyo Disney Sea's Tower of Terror: First comment: Second comment immediately after (Same guy) Sir, please make up your mind.
  12. Riddler's Revenge for the huge amount of people they cram in there and the annoying techno music.
  13. ^ I don't know. I haven't really been to Great America. My all-time favorite flat tide would have to be MaXair at Ceder Point.
  14. The latter for me. Um, what?? Here's my own experience of the GP on Facebook. This is from the HHN Hollywood fan page: *Facepalm* 1) It's just a name. Of course you can't fir 1000 corpses in there. There's not enough space and Universal--not to mention the hefty criminal investigation for harboring all of those bodies. 2) It's not coming back for a third year. -____-
  15. This is what really bothers me. They could've very easily taken out Disaster, the San Francisco bay and a backstage building or two behind the ride and the new Potter area would've fit just fine. It just frustrates me that this whole removal of JAWS just seems unnecessary. Like you said, JAWS had staying power. Even if the movie is "outdated", JAWS still has a name for himself several years after the film and could've still drawn a crowd with just several months or a year of a complete rehab. If they had done that, the ride would have been better than it ever was. Well, at least we have it in Hollywood--but it's "old and stupid". Maybe someday they can completely revive the one on the Studio Tour; that probably won't happen either since we're getting more Potter over here.
  16. Superman: Escape from Krypton at SFMM. I always have to cover my ears every time I walk near that track. >.
  17. Isn't there already a thread on this, or am I wrong on that? With Transformers coming into the picture, I heard that the projected success from that ride is going to really increase the budget for HHN. If the ride does earn Uni enough money, they may be able to rent a sound stage for the event. But these are just rumors I've been hearing so it's more of a wait and see situation. Whatever happens, I hope they move the Terror Tram to a new location and improve the scarezones...dramatically. I would say that the HoH overlays need help, but I think they should just leave it the way it is for HHN and stop trying to make it what it's not.
  18. My favorite water ride would be Jurassic Park at USH. It's a great adventure with lots of great scenery, effects, and an awesome drop.
  19. My favorite part of a roller coaster would be airtime...something my deprived state doesn't have. Thankfully, I've gotten to experience other coasters with airtime like Millenium Force at Ceder Point. Help us Manta...you're our only hope... Other than that, my favorite part about a coaster is the speed.
  20. What is my favorite themed ride? For me that will be the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman. Even though I've been on the amazing Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride, I still prefer Spiderman over Potter for its smooth transitions, smooth story telling, realistic illusions, and fantastic mix of 3D and live effects. It's spinning movements provide even more fun for the ride. It will be even better after the digital film upgrades for the ride. Harry Potter would be my second favorite themed ride. Though its transitions are a bit rough and the settings are difficult to tell where I am, I do like the fact that its a more thrilling dark ride. Not only that, but it's one of the few rides that have that personal setting where I feel that everything is being directed towards me instead of everyone in the same vehicle as me. Revenge of the Mummy would be a third favorite of mine for it being a great coaster and a cool dark ride. The only problem I have with it are the "patented" transitions from scene-to-scene which is one area where Hollywood has it better--due to space, the version closest to me is just flat-out scene-to-scene. Indy and Pirates at Disneyland will be a fourth and a fifth for me. The theming is out-of-this-world for both of those rides.
  21. A comment on CP's FB page. I'm surprised he hasn't said the same thing about Mean Streak.
  22. Anyone have any footage or pictures of the Pirate or Earthquake rides? I've been looking around and trying to find such things but with no avail...
  23. From what I've been on, the Psyclone at Lakeside Park in Colorado gets my vote as the best woodie under 75ft. It's been a long time since I've been on it, but it's a god one.
