  1. Talon at Dorney on my 22nd Birthday June 14th!
  2. Went to Six Flags Great Adventure opening day this year. Waited an hour & a half for Nitro, then a two hour wait for Green Lantern. That did it for me. Probably the worst day at a theme park in a long time. There was also Haunt at Dorney last year. My group waited a long time for the few attractions we got on in the beginning but towards the end of the night crowds lightened & everything was a walk on the last hour of the park so it ended up being a good night in the end.
  3. Runaway Train at Gillian's Wonderland Pier in Ocean City, NJ yesterday June 9th.
  4. As of late nothing but Linkin Park because I'm pumped for their new album! Also I'm seeing them for the 3x August 17th in Camden!
  5. Dorney Park next Thursday (14th) for my 22nd birthday & 308th coaster credit AKA Stinger
  6. I would say around 13 (2003). My parents got season passes to GADV & I was hooked ever since!
  7. Rode Skyrush today! I must say it is pretty awesome! It reminded me of I305 but obviously smaller. It was packed with airtime & was my 307th credit My only complaint was the restraints. They stapled me in my seat after the 2nd hill & hurt my thighs. Apart from that great ride! Kudos to the Skyrush crew for the quick operations. I timed myself & waited no longer than 23 minutes to ride it all 3x I got on it. The lines weren't bad today in general with the exception of Fahrenheit, Great Bear, & Lightning Racers but only because each side was running 1 train.
  8. Well you don't really know how magnificent the place is until you see it 1st hand. Everything is 1st class from our pools, spa, Ovation Hall theater, one of a kind sky garden area that over looks the ocean, & of course our casino floor with over 2400 slot machines. Not to mention the entire resort is a smoke free environment
  9. Now you might be saying who would go to the Jersey shore on Memorial Day? Well I had no choice. I work at the new Revel resort in Atlantic City, NJ & after work today I decided to hit up Steel Pier. Unfortunately as soon as I got to the pier (nothing new to me) the Crazy Mouse stopped on one of the break sections so I didn't ride it today I did go on a few rides though & took some pictures before fighting the horrible Memorial Day traffic home. Happy Memorial Day everyone! Steel Pier viewed from Revel! Entrance sign? Just in case you forget what the place was called. Just my luck! Things better be different tomorrow when I ride Skyrush! The 1 of 2 rides I rode today. 5 tickets. Lamest music express ever! No music & didn't even go backwards! Also 5 tickets. The tickets. You can get 1 ticket for $1. Where I work! Tomorrow I will be going to ride Skyrush at Hershey Park! Super excited!!!!
  10. It was either pay or not go on at all lol. Yes all 3 coasters were surprisingly very smooth today! & I'm not complaining
  11. I didn't know they were getting rid of that lol, or wanting too.
  12. Steel Pier after work this Friday (May 25), Hershey Park next Wednesday (May 30), possibly Knoebels June 6th, & Dorney Park June 14th for my birthday. I'm also taking my girlfriend to Busch Gardens Williamsburg the weekend of June 29th
  13. On Saturday May 19, 2012 after work I drove down to Wildwood, NJ to spend the night with my girlfriend & her family at her condo. While there we hit Morey's Piers. It was a fun time. I only got 3 coaster laps in but I enjoyed each one & we also rode the Spring Shot (sling shot) at Adventure Pier & they are always a lot of fun. On to the photos: My favorite amusement park at a beach Morey's Piers! Our 1st stop! For a SLC, this was extremely enjoyable today! I did ride it before the new trains were added & after but something was just different in a good way. Meaning I didn't get a headache after I rode it lol. Just another awesome Chance drop tower. Enough said. Time to ride a Vekoma Boomerang! Yet another well kept Vekoma ride that didn't give me a headache today! Alright Morey's 2 for 2! Let's ride an awesome Jersey Shore woodie! & it was! Great ride & my 1st woodie of 2012! Time for the Spring Shot! It was awesome! Worth the $25 a person, I had to pay for my gf lol. That concluded a fun time at the beach. It wasn't much but I was suffering coaster withdraw after opening day at GADV & was glad my girlfriend was with me since it's rare we can ride rides together. On Friday after work I'm going to hit up Steel Pier (weather permitting) & next week I'm going to Hershey Park to ride Skyrush! My season started slow but it's picking up & going to be a great year!
  14. Great White at Morey's Piers May 19th!
  15. Taking my girlfriend down on June 29th! Can't wait to ride Verbolten!
  16. ^At least it's getting a rehab. That ride did need it badly when I last went in 2010 to ride I305. Volcano was my 100th credit & I do find it very enjoyable. I especially like the 2 launches & the theme.
  17. I've worked in the amusement park industry in the past. In 2009 I worked at Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park in West Berlin, New Jersey from March until June of that year. I was a ticket receptionist in the arcade. From June of 2009-September of 2009 I was a ride operator at Clementon Amusement Park & Splash World in Clementon, New Jersey. Finally from January 2010-May 2010 I did the Disney College Program & was Sunset Attractions at Hollywood Studios. I worked on Tower of Terror as well as did crowd control at the then Block Party Bash parade as well as the High School Musical float (which is now Disney Channel Rocks) & Fantasmic! I currently work at the new Revel resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey as a Security Officer.
  18. I've always bought souvenirs & collected amusement park stuff. From park maps to coaster parts, post cards, hats, & pins I pretty much have a little bit of everything. My main coaster box consisting of park maps (from about 1999-present), pennies, pens, collector items amusement park related, etc. My coaster parts. On top a piece of Mind Eraser from Six Flags America, I found it back in 2006 exiting the ride. I believe it's a old break piston but I'm not entirely sure. The two pieces on the bottom are from the Silver Star at Martin's Fantasy Island that I got when I visited the park back in 2008. A close-up of what I believe to be a break piston. If someone knows exactly what this is please let me know lol. I live in Clementon, NJ & worked at Clementon Park back in 2009. I think this is cool because it has rides no longer at the park on it like Thunderbolt or Inverter. The hole punched rides means I was certified to operate them. My Disney pins! Some only Cast Members can get like the Monsters Inc one on the bottom left. I did the College Program Spring 2010 & worked on Tower of Terror! Everything coaster pins along with random ones! I have a few random coaster stuff that I got as Christmas gifts one year. My shot glass collection consists mostly of coasters! & of course I'll keep this forever!
  19. Dorney is one of my favorite parks. I visit it a few times a year & get season passes every year. I've never had a problem with the crowd or atmosphere. In my opinion GADV's crowd is worse. I've never waited more than 20 minutes for a coaster there, even on a busy day, plus you don't have to worry about bags because their coasters have bins for your stuff!
  20. They brought the pull-through cart back out for a spin today and it's now parked at the top of the second airtime hill. Thanks! I can't wait to see videos of the ride testing! This is the coaster I'm looking forward to riding most!
  21. The trains look awesome! Any word if the ride began testing yet?
  22. Six Flags Great Adventure (Already visited) Dorney Park (Plan on getting a season pass so definitely more than once) Hershey Park Steel Pier Clementon Park (I live right down the street from it lol) Knoebels Morey's Piers Possibly: Dollywood Great Escape Lake Compounce Six Flags America Kings Dominion A lot of the parks I'll be visiting are local (I live in South Jersey) & since I work mostly on weekends I'll be able to take possible 2 or 3 day trips during the week like to Dollywood or the parks up in New England.
