  1. It was almost my first, but I skipped it and went to Rolling Thunder (I think). Rolling Thunder can go too . I'd love to see some dueling GCI woodies there, or even dueling Gravity Group coasters with Timberliners . It would boost attendance and still be a family coaster. A man can dream, can't he? The last thing that park needs is more crowds! @Yoshifan that was my theory as well. I figured since school was still in session for a day it wouldn't be too crowded but we were both wrong unfortunately.
  2. Green Lantern at Six Flags Great Adventure on Thursday.
  3. Probably Steel Pier one day after work since I work in at the new Revel in Atlantic City.
  4. ^GASM was the 1st ride I ever rode at that park so it I will always have a special place on my coaster count.
  5. ^Now that I think about it this was the nicest opening day (weather wise) in a long time.
  6. ^I go to opening day every year & it's never been this bad.
  7. ^it was on a Thursday & I had to work around college & my job so I didn't have much of a choice. @coastercrazy9 El Toro is good but I'd rather spend my time at a park with a better atmosphere & get more rides in than have a crappy time for 1 ride.
  8. ^At least you can still go to Dorney on a summer Saturday & wait no longer than 20 minutes per ride.
  9. On Thursday afternoon after my morning college class, two friends of mine & I headed to Six Flags Great Adventure for opening day. The weather was perfect & our ticket was $20 so we were hoping for a good day & we arrived at around 1:30. Unfortunately that did not happen. the park was jam packed! Probably because of the opening day deal. Our 1st stop was Nitro. We ended up waiting an hour & a half! We did sit in the front seat though. After Nitro (which always is my 1st ride of the year) we decided to ride Green Lantern. We ended up waiting 2 hours for Green Lantern! We were disappointed by then & decided to leave from there. We checked out El Toro's line but that was long & they were only running one train. Yeah that day did it for me. No more Six Flags, unless my girl wants to go lol. I prefer Dorney. I don't know when my next trip will be but it won't be at Six Flags Wait Adventure. I took a few pics. Thanks for reading! Follow me on twitter @mtavenger55 We arrived at Wait I mean Great Adventure! The park's new ride. Longest I've ever waited for this ride. Green Lantern. I miss Scream Machine. Very disappointed. I'm going to spend my money somewhere else.
  10. A bottle of Smirnoff mango during Christmas Eve dinner! Also along with my Macbook Pro I got a big bottle of Pinnacle Chocolate Whipped vodka for Christmas!
  11. I finally got a Mac! I got the MacBook Pro 13" & am now all Apple (I have a iPod video, iTouch 1st generation, iPad 2, Verizon iPhone 4, & now a Macbook Pro)! I enjoy all of my Apple products! My brother got the iPhone 4S. I've noticed there are a lot of Apple fans on this site! I hope everyone had a great Christmas!
  12. I took my girlfriend to see The 2011 Honda Civic Tour on September 17 in Camden, NJ featuring Matt & Kim, My Chemical Romance, & Blink 182. I have no idea who I'll be seeing next but hopefully Green Day, Marilyn Manson, or Linkin Park (my favorite band who I saw back in January), whoever comes around my area first.
  13. Mine was a drink called a "Fish Bowl". I tried it Saturday night at a bar with my girlfriend. It is in a big mug in the shape of literally a fish bowl and contains 5 shots of different flavored rum, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice. It tasted amazing! I could barely taste any alcohol but you're a light weight you might get drunk pretty quick lol. Not a bad drink for $9.
  14. Redbull with Vodka around 12:45 am today to celebrate my girlfriend's 21st birthday! I tasted amazing
  15. Steel Force at Dorney Park on Saturday. It was the last ride in 2011. I definitely had an awesome year!
  16. I did the CP last Spring from January-May & like what you read above it was the best experience of my life! I got lucky enough to work attractions at Tower of Terror which is my favorite attraction at WDW along with being trained at Fantasmic & the then High School Musical float & Block Party Bash parade. The job was fun even though it payed very little & the hours were long but still worth it. Everyone I worked with was great & very helpful. I got along with everyone. I lived in Patterson Court which was an amazing apartment complex. They provided transportation from the apartments to the parks (although I had my car so it didn't matter to me) & everything was ran like a well oiled machine. Definitely an amazing experience & something I recommend you trying if you are considering it. Me in my Tower costume! Patterson Court represent! Our room number! That's are family room area. My apartment had 6 people, 2 to a room along with a bathroom & shower per room. My bed! Note: It is better if you bring your own mattress. Since my room was on the 3rd floor we had a balcony!
  17. I think this is awesome news! Although I thought Universal might get an Avatar themed attraction because of Transformers & Harry Potter I'm thrilled that a World class place like Disney World is getting this. Avatar is one of my favorite movies & I've always wanted a park to build something themed to it. I visit Orlando at least once a year so I'm really looking forward to this!
  18. I think this is the coolest Six Flags announcement this year! I've always wanted SFMM to build a drop tower on Superman & now they are finally doing it
  19. I'm happy for SFA. It's been too long since they got anything exciting. I thing the colors look awesome!
  20. At least they finally made Invertigo official. For a boomerang that was not a bad coaster when I rode it back in 09' at CGA. I think the new colors are awesome along with the logo. The name is decent & at least it's better than Flight Deck
  21. A Twisted Tea peach at my neighbor's 21st birthday party yesterday.
  22. Looping Star at Jolly Roger at the Pier in Ocean City, Maryland yesterday. That ride was terrible. It was also painful & uncomfortable. The ride operator didn't even check our restraints! Btw it was my 306th credit lol.
  23. I was disappointed when I saw this announcement. I haven't been impressed with anything new CP built since Maverick. So far I think Hershey Park made the best announcement for next year because Skyrush fits that park perfectly. While CW's B&M giga looks pretty cool in my opinion I think it is unessecary for that park because now Behemoth won't get any attention. Hopefully CP will get a new coaster in 2013. I was so sure they were going to get a coaster next year because SFMM is getting rid of Dejavu. I guess I, like most of you, I was wrong.
