I just used the system and you skip both the line for the tube and the slide itself (not including Tornado). The thing that sucks though is that Hurricane Harbor doesn't have enough slides for the Flash Pass system to work well. Because of the low price of the pass itself and the low amount of slides, the reservation times ended up being around 2 hours on a busy day. Don't waste your money on the Regular Pass, just get the Platinum Pass. It's well worth it. Well I'm thinking about using it tomorrow. How do you get a tube if you skip the line for the tube? And it's $10 for Regular and $15 for Gold, right? They usually have you scan your wristband at the tube pick-up. And yes, 10 bucks for the Reg. and 15 for the Gold.

I rode it in 2008 and I wasn't huge fan of it. Glad to see the park finally remove it.

I'm still skeptical about this guy..He's been calling himself the Joker and the first thing that comes to mind when I think about the Joker is that scene from the first Dark Knight where he planted that cell phone bomb on one of the cell mates and the Joker asked for his free phone call and then the Jail blows up. I'm still curious to why this guy didn't kill himself. Everything seems a bit off...and I still think that he did something to one of the bodies. Something similar to what I said above. Again, my prayers go out the victims and families involved in this.

When I went to the park last week, Green Lantern was actually running very well. I managed to get the first ride of the day and I flipped about 4 times. I was impressed. The other nice thing was that my thighs weren't being stabbed to death by the restraints.

What happened was unfortunate. I too found out about it after my Midnight Showing and I was shocked. My prayers go out to the victims and families. On the other note,This Twitter page has to be clueless. They've since apologized by giving this excuse: And then CNN posted this status: How is Romney giving a statement "Breaking News"?!? These news sources need talk about the actual shooting and the status of the injured victims! I could care less about Romney!

Off Topic, Who's going to see The Dark Knight Rises anytime soon? Looks like a great movie. EDIT: My wishes go out to the families of the recent massacre. On Topic, When I was waiting in Line for Lex Luthor, the GP were already saying that people have died on Lex. I reminded them that the ride just opened and they kept saying "Stop talking to me". Considering that these 2 girls looked as if they were in there 30s, they could have came up with a more mature response.

Wouldn't that be a bit painful to men? How would that be painful? That sounds extremely painful! A Floorless Stand-Up Coaster sounds like it could smash your balls just by going up the lift!

The Coaster Guy has a new Trip report showing off the mystery supports once again. These look as if they are supports for a Funtime Slingshot. Full Throttle would be fitting name for a slingshot..No? Ok. Slingshots could go pretty damn fast so Full Throttle could be the name.

I'm still finding it tough to believe that I discovered a ride. Anyways, now that there are some better pictures I am going to have to agree with Guy. These don't look as if these are for Magic Mountain. I did leave out some info from yesterday though. I forgot to mention that I spotted some support joints (2-3) yesterday behind Tornado but I figured they were for Lex because they were Superman Blue. But then I thought to myself after I left.."Lex is already open stupid". The joints were Superman Blue and fairly large. They were located in between the pool for Tornado and the stairs going up to the beginning of the ride. They are the most visible from the stairs leading up to the ride.

They looked nothing like I305 supports when I saw them! They didn't even look like Intamin supports!

That will probably end up being the case because I still can't vision myself discovering a Sky Screamer behind Apocalypse.

Just left from the park. I went to the ERT this morning which ended up opening at 9:45. I managed to get 7 rides on it during the ERT and I must say, Lex Luthor is one of the best additions Magic Mountain has gotten in a while, just my opinion though. I loved the little details put in to this ride such as the "Lex Corp Experiment" that you ocassionaly hear outside the ride explaning that you'll be participating in an experiment for Lex Corp on Lex Towers(Superman). The Lex Armor suit isn't covered in gum yet so that was nice to see considering the suit looks really cool. Overall, I loved the ride. I was expecting the ride to shake violently when Superman roared up the tower but it mostly swayed gently adding to the thrill. Oh yes, I also found multi-colored supports behind Apocalypse but they didn't look like ride supports. I'll post a picture when I get home, I'm currently on my phone typing this in the parking lot. I first saw it while on Apocalypse(which was running great today) but I then just went up to the Sky Tower to get the picture. Again, I'll post the picture in a bit.
