  1. ^What do you mean by "entrance". If you mean an entrance to get into the actual park, that won't happen since the hospital is now under construction on the north side, on the south side you have a lake, and to the west you have a highway. If you mean "car entrance", that's a possibility. Also, from what I understand, the two haunts in the mountain were never torn down anyways (they are completely out of the way from WMG). And, there is the theory of multiple small Splash Works additions every year or so. So Mamba isn't out of the question for a slide....yet.
  2. So after doing some searching, it looks like Zombies 4D will be a standard "movie" that has already been created by TrioTech. http://www.trio-tech.com/portfolio-posts/zombies/ http://www.rohandelivera.com/zombies/
  3. I highly doubt someone that high in Busch Gardens rankings would tell a 16 year-old what the next project is. (And for the record, I'm 16 too)
  4. ^That permit doesn't make sense. That means Wonderland was working illegally prior to filing the permit in October. I'm sure there is a permit that is sealed (cannot be released to the public without the parks permission) that is the "main" WMG permit. Also, WMG did not cost $360,000. EDIT: Actually, I think that permit is for the Haunt mazes that were in the mountain last year. They were located on the "basement level" and were technically "floor attractions". And the 900 m2 area sounds just about right (Guardian's area is 23, 180 square meters)
  5. Ok let me change what I said. Based off what other people have said, the V-trains have problems. I can tell you for a fact that Behemoth was really really bad at some points last year (but it is a prototype afterall....). Plus, the longer trains cut capacity down a bit (longer train, longer time to check restraints, get everyone out of the station, etc). Also, I remember Wonderland telling CW Mania that the vibrations are because there is a part on the trains that wear-out very very quickly.
  6. ^The V-Seat trains (Behemoth, Intimidator, etc) have vibration issues. If Hypers, have this problem, just image what it would be like on a faster coaster.
  7. Every off season, the trains are taken apart and re-built (at least in the Cedar Fair chain).....wear-and-tear is defiantly not an issue. Well it's a lot better than what Intamin said (what is below is copy-and-pasted from Carowinds Connection from "Chris")
  8. If I remember correctly, the story was that a few guests at Kings Island randomly questioned the safety of the coaster (they said they don't feel safe and anyone can fall out).....then to make sure this didn't affect anything, the seat belts were brought in (even though I honestly think seat belts do nothing on roller coasters, you'll still fly out)
  9. Yet the first airtime hill got a suspicious straight section ( ), so I think they'll definitely put a trim here. Yeah, that's what I thought. Are leviathan's trims nasty? Do they actually do much? When Levi's trims are used, you cannot even feel it.
  10. City News just confirmed that a "new attraction" will take SkyRider's spot in 2016.
  11. CW got nominated for the Ice Bucket Challenge! Wonder how they'll do it. (Holiday World started it all by nominating SF St. Louis, Dollywood, Silver Dollar City, and Kings Island. KI nominated Wonderland and Cedar Point). Kings Island:
  12. If the blueprints are correct, that track can only be for the turn from the station to the lift.....which still doesn't explain the lowered spine.
  13. ^Station and brake run supports are "normal supports". Those supports in the picture are most likely for the transfer track.
  14. It's not. Meanwhile the Carowinds fans chaos is continuing... Part of the introduction/teaser for announcement day. I suggest you delete this for respect to Jarsh.
  15. ^Just so you know, nothing has been confirmed to be real or fake.
  16. I KNEW IT! That logo was leaked the EXACT same way Wonder Mountain's Guardian was leaked. I was looking at Carowinds CSS page every morning, I just forgot to do so this morning! https://www.carowinds.com/css/screen.css The second picture (which was likely the logo) is no longer active (Carowinds obviously took it down). The first picture is the background of the logo picture that has already posted pretty much confirming that the name of the coaster will be Fury 325. EDIT: Could Swarm be the real name? https://www.carowinds.com/swarm
  17. Here's something coasterbruh posted on CC: http://carowindsconnection.com/viewtopic.php?p=61492#p61492 You can read what I said here (rather than me just copying and pasting my reply): http://carowindsconnection.com/viewtopic.php?p=61499#p61499
  18. So I was doing a little bit of searching in the Tampa permit database and I found 2 surprising facts: 1) Sandstorm was to be relocated somewhere else in the park (but that permit got cancelled). 2) The City of Tampa signed off on the ride on MAY 6. It seems like the only explanation for the ride still be closed is that (when testing stopped) a major part of the ride broke. I'm sure there are parts that have never been used on a ride before so I would think that whatever broke had to be manufactured from scratch back over seas.
  19. 100% not going to be Intamin. Don't get your hopes up! Also, Intimidator 305's lift footer goes into the ground.
  20. To be more precise, I think that's actually a mirrored version of SkyRider from Wonderland (green track with blue rails). A Togo is getting relocated!!!!(joking)
  21. ^No way that is right (if you drive the ENTIRE highway, you pay 40 bucks, and I would imagine that's not what your planning on doing). Here is the current toll fee's for the highway (you would fall under the video recorded category). http://www.407etr.com/tolls/rate-chart-2014.html Maybe your friend was charged so much because of this: This might also come in handy if/when you know exactly what route you'll be taking (and if you'll be taking the 407): http://www.407etr.com/highway/map.html
  22. Here's the official page: https://www.canadaswonderland.com/what-s-new/new-for-2015-typhoon-splash-station And I was looking at Topsy Turvey from Bing Maps and I just realized how small the slide is....probably costed Wonderland nothing...
  23. I'm surprised no one has brought this up, but notice how (if the text posted is word for word what the email said) "Splash Works" is never mentioned.... IMO, re-branding is on the way! Also... Credit: CW Mania (don't know where they found the picture or if the park sent it to them....or if it was part of the email (I haven't gotten it))
