Tom (Shockwave): You have a brilliant point there, Stealth is a step forward for the UK, by introducing the top hat. But like you said it wont be in my top 10 either. I think airtime should be good, I hear Excelerators is good. And Stealth is simular to it in hieght and speed.

Which is worse, Arrow or Vekoma?
lagg replied to MLRC7 CP's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Vekoma have a few wounders like BTMR. Arrow have a few wounders like PMBO. But the Vekoma Corkscrews kill me. So yeah... its Vekoma. -
Theme Park Review Announces Our 2006 UK Trip!
lagg replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I can only do Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park. If only I had a car. It would be cool to do Dreamland Margate and Adventure Island in the sam day... just a suggestion though. -
Your 2005 Year In Review!
lagg replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
--Your 2005 year in review: It was cool, I got a few new parks in, and my coaster count got to 74! 2005 has made me try to get as many coasters done as I can. --Your first coaster of the year: Pepsi Max Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. --Your last coaster of the year: Wild Mouse at Hyde Park Fair, but at an official park... Mini Mighty Mega at Adventure Island --Best new steel to me: Bullet at FlamingoLand or Rita at Alton Towers, both suprised me. --Best new wood to me: Without a doubt... Megafobia at Oakwood. If any people who are reading this is going to the UK trip: Please ride this, its the best in the UK. --Best new flat ride to me: Rush at Thorpe Park, the Screaming Swing gives off a bit of airtime if you breath out while the ride ops are pushing the restraint down. --Best new water ride to me: Hydro at Oakwood, the OSTR's are weird on a water ride, but the drop was pure class. --Best new dark ride/walk through to me: Space Invaders 2 at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, I cant belive I saved this ride for 2005. --Best new water park attraction to me: Kamakazie ride in a small water park in Menorca (sorry about fogeting the water parks name). --Best new park to me: Oakwood --Best park "moment" of the year: Riding Nemesis Inferno 7 times in a row at the end of a day at Thorpe Park. --Best overall park "trip" of the year: Ghosterforce (Coasterforce) --Worst new attraction (any kind) to me of the year: Velocity at Flamingoland. It was a brilliant ride, but god it hurt my crutch. --Best event at a park: Halloween Hocus Pocus at Chessington World of Adventures. --Best non-event day at a park: Adventure Island, it is a tacky park but its so fun. --Ride that I had to rethink my opinion of in 2005: Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park, I used to think this was boring, but now I love it. --Hopes for 2006: Project Stealth at Thorpe Park to have good airtime. Kumali at FlamingoLand to be smooth. Eurofighter at Oakwood to be up by the time I am going. Gwazi not to be as bad as it gets rated. Roll on 2006! -

Nice TR. Glad yoy had a good day, I shall be doing BGT in Febuary. It sounds like its one of the best parks in Florida. You should of done both tracks for Gwazi, you would of got another credit. -

Little TR for Dollywood - 12/27/05

Lucky guy! Sounds like you had an awesome time. Thunderhead looks the best woodie (followed by Hades), Tennesse Tornado looks pretty cool aswell. Reading this makes me wish I could do a bit more than Florida when I visit the USA. I still cant belive there is a park dedicated to Dolly Parton. Oh well... at least it has Thunderhead. -

My coaster count should be hitting 100 at the end of this season. -
Nice report, I am doing CG, BGT, USO, WDW, WDAK, Epcot, IOA and Boomers (only for Dania Beech Hurricane) in Febuary. Loving your pics, if I were you I would do CP one day and IOA and USO another day. I guess your time in FL is limited though. At least your getting credits, I am stuck on 74. I want to hear how good CG is, I missed it last time I went to FL. So I want to hear a good report .

Goliath at La Ronde. I want to see how B&M pull this off, the design looks airtime filled too. -

lagg replied to Inferno Insane's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Dude! I was there on the 18th with coasterforce. I thought it was cool for a cramed and tiny park. The Move It ran on this crazy funfair setting. Shame the Scorpian ride was closed, I wanted to get on it. Glad you had a great time though! -

Recently I have seen 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang', the movie was pretty funny. I recomend it. I saw Doom yesterday and it was brilliant. I thought it was a bit unpredictable at times. IMO its a great movie and its well worth watching it.

What is the best coaster in your home park?
lagg replied to MattJackson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Dreamland Margate is my home park (what has been saved!). And the best coaster there is the Scenic Railway. -

What is the Best B&M Stand-Up Coaster
lagg replied to Yero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have only ridden Shockwave at Drayton Manor Park. Its was cool, and it was a good experience. I think that Ridelers Revenge and Mantis look the best. They are gaint compared to the tiny UK coasters. Georgia Scorcher looks like it has a few tight turns, because the track is so close together. -

rides with insane lines but not worth the waits
lagg replied to methos's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I had to wait to go on Nemesis for 2 hours, I know it doesnt seem alot. But this is a boring coaster what gets repetative, and I didnt want to fall out with my friends over this coaster. When I visit the USA I never have to wait over 40 minutes for rides, I expected long queues. I waws supprised, and I had prepared for long waits. (anything for the coaster count ) -
Dubailands first coaster! ( well sort of)
lagg replied to dubaidave's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Its still nice to see something is going on at Dubialang. It looks a little hangbangish. I hope for better coasters though... but who doesnt. -
I like the strata trains, TTD's are pretty cool with the race car. I also like the phunky design of R'n'R's they suit the rock theme well.
