  1. One more f*ck-up like that Bill and you'll be banned from posting future trip reports! I know how much that would completely devastate you so I know you'll not make such a foolish mistake again LOL
  2. Why are there no pictures of the life changing pizza??? Worst trip report of all time.
  3. Really awesome pics, they are seriously tearing that ride apart! Love the shots of Maverick dwarfed by Meaner Streak.
  4. I had my first waffle truck experience a couple week ago at the park and it was to die for!! I'm still thinking about it and wish they had a truck near DC. I doubt SFA has anything remotely as delicious as it. I'm not even a waffle type of person but it was outrageously delicious and sitting around chowing down by campfire with xmas lights galore was just so freaking cool. JRice - have fun and thanks again for meeting up last time you were in town!
  5. Coastermaniac - I really enjoyed watching your video! Usually I get bored about 60 seconds in with that type of thing but I watched the entire video and couldn't believe several minutes had gone by already haha. Really cool shots and funny scenes. Nice to see Marcel in there too! Great job.
  6. Add me to the list of people who like Rougarou and enjoy it significantly more than Mantis. And by that I mean on a typical 12 hour day in the park we ride Rougarou twice, sometimes three times. It never has a line and is decently smooth. I like that the layout isn't anything to write home about as I don't get dizzy or feel sick after. I'm prone to getting my ears smashed into those big restraints but have only gotten knocked once on it. I do hold my head a bit forward though - but I do that on a lot of rides just as a precaution. It in no way takes away from my enjoyment of the ride. ETA: SO and I are both looking forward to Carowinds converting their stand-up to a floorless!
  7. Too funny that Viking86 knows the real life Nina Kleppe! It's a Christmas miracle that we now have info thru 2020 thanks to CP insider James Davis, the Dippin' Dots Doofus
  8. That's pretty cool! Excited to see what they do with the place and I'll be rooting for its relaunch to be successful. Hopefully this thread can be resurrected when the show has an air date next year so I can record it!
  9. Nice little TR, looking forward to reading about your upcoming adventures!
  10. Food, lights, more food and lights, plus even more food and lights with all the rides open... Sign me up! Looks awesome.
  11. In between dabs to stop my bleeding eyes with all this talk of Green Lantern and a certain type of clothing that may or may not hold certain mobile devices in parks, I saw that Boldikus included handy links in his signature to his 2016 TRs. Nice touch, good sir!
  12. I really enjoyed reading about all your summer adventures! Hitting up great parks is always more fun with a group of friends. Looks like you had nice weather which is always a bonus. Glowfest Phoenix must have been amazing!!
  13. The picture of those little kids on Tower of Terror is hilarious! Love that light up candy corn necklace too. Do you have any other upcoming trips planned?
  14. Can't wait for this!!! They'd be smart to start some heavy advertising. I'll be checking it out early and hopefully spreading the good word about how great it is. I'm expecting with less than half the park open but xmas lights added is going to be better than the entire dry and wet park on a perfect day with no crowds.
  15. I'm much more interested in that drive-by video than some hard to see grainy pictures. Thanks for posting the link chickenbowl and if you find more videos from them as construction continues feel free to slide the link in here
  16. Understatement of the year! Keep the MF vs. Toro operating scenarios going please, guys! It is really interesting to learn about the green lights for dispatching, which blocks/return hill the train has to be over for it to dispatch without pausing on the lift, etc.
  17. Thanks Nrthwnd for updating us regarding Breakers rooms now being available to book!
  18. In a way it's a good thing that SFA (an armpit, no doubt) is so small because it allowed you to make a short day of it. SFGAdv is 3 hours without traffic for me and it's enormous with so much to do there that by the time I get home I can't even form a complete thought. SROS, Wild One and Joker's Jinx are the only good rides at SFA and if it helps at all, I find Joker's Jinx to be much better than Flight of Fear at KD. Dispatches for Batwing in the 4-7 minute range are pretty standard and even if the operations were better, the restraints are a killer and I wouldn't wait for it. Now you need to get your buddy down to KD and BGW!
  19. Anyone here done this? I plan on doing it this year. Bill did it and can tell you more about it. I originally planned to do it earlier this month and my plans got changed so I'll be doing it next year! Amazing news on round-trip Skyride for HITP!!!
  20. I may or may not have bookmarked the last couple pages of this thread for its valuable Skyride information. Really neat about those (disgusting) bathrooms by Skyhawk previously being a separate ride station. I had no idea about any of that.
  21. Fascinating and hilarious post, Robb! I had no idea there were hate groups and while I see stupid comments online occasionally, the extent that some people have taken it is truly horrifying. Keep shrugging them off and being awesome!
  22. Sky ride enthusiast here, really interesting comparing CP and GAdv's sky rides and the other statistics for rides! You never know what you're going to learn when you come to TPR!
  23. I've really enjoyed reading your TR. Learned all about taking the train, WCB, different Disney experiences, and lots of neat souvenirs! I saw Aladdin on Broadway and it was absolutely spectacular. I do like Frozen and saw it on ice which was amazing but I like Aladdin more.
  24. The information superhighway is at your fingertips. Hilarious and thanks. I googled it but was thinking it was something the park was offering and not an event at The National Zoo. My search of "Zoolights Six Flags America" did not turn up any relevant results. Go ahead and take away my TPR card for being born and raised in the DC area with no knowledge of Zoolights and having mediocre googling skills on top of it!
