  1. I just asked if they had log flumes or white water rafting rides on Facebook. They said it depended on how well the game is received. I don't know if they mean in the beta, or if they are thinking of putting them in expansions later on if it sells well.
  2. I'm glad I supported it. Was the first kickstarter project I did so with. Hope those people who wanted Mac compatibility get it now, as I believe they said that was a secondary goal.
  3. I guess I'll donate 50 bucks. It's all I can afford what with my summer trips to HP/Knoebels and KI/CP/Kennywood/Waldameer/Conneaut needing to be paid for in the next few paychecks I get. But I really want this game, so...
  4. I know it's nitpicky, but just figured I'd tell you in case it was an oversight. Disaster Transport at Cedar Point is closed, as is Roller Soaker at Hersheypark.
  5. Is it true Diamond Head is being taken down for this, or will this be going elsewhere in the waterpark?
  6. Better than nothing, I suppose. Hopefully they don't remove something for it. They have plenty of room. Guess this means they won't get a "real" new coaster for a while.
  7. Glad I decided to drive through the safari when I was there a few weeks ago. Wasn't planning to when I got there, but something told me I should. We did get to see the lions having sex in various positions!
  8. Well, I'd be upset if I lived in or around Harrisburg too.
  9. ^^ I rode it back in 2008 and thought it was pretty good, but I heard that last year or this year they did something to it that made it seem sluggish.
  10. ^ Man, Columbia Pictures gonna sue somebody! I kinda thought the riders would be Keymasters, leading to some funny sexual jokes while you ride the Gatekeeper.
  11. Quote for dumbest comment of the day! Let me rephrase because, yes, the way I put it was quite dumb and I blame my being off my medication, which was entirely my pharmacy's fault. So, sorry if I offended anyone with my opinion. Zacspins don't excite me, but that's just from looking at them and seeing how they operate from online videos, and it's mainly due to the way SFMM apparently runs the one there. By looking at the European ones, if unbalanced, they could be quite exciting. I feel they are wrong capacity-wise for big parks like KI, however. I could see smaller parks like SFA, Canobie, Lake Compounce, Great Escape, or Elitch Gardens making good additions out of them (if run the right way, unlike SFMM), but for larger parks I just think they seem out of place. Again, just my opinion. I'd like to see KI somehow fix The Beast so they don't have to use those trims anymore or to get a smaller wooden coaster that packs a good punch like American Thunder or Prowler does.
  12. ^ Beats me. The one door closes, another opens thing seems to me to mean a coaster/ride is leaving, and another one is coming.
  13. I loved the hangtime on Dare Devil Dive. To each his own. I think Zacspins look rather stupid. If I wanted to ride a Zipper, I'd go to the state fair.
  14. Apparently what's new for 2013 will be announced August 30th. Everyone's guessing it's safari related as facebook message shows a picture of a chest and says "Where one door closes, another opens" or something like that.
  15. Why does everyone want Zacspins everywhere, when the only one in the US is run so that it doesn't flip and with the horrible capacity? I mean, sure, they fit into small spaces, but I could understand a Euro-Fighter more. At least there's little to be done to neuter one of those.
  16. I'd love to be able to ride a Balder clone. Doubt I'll be going to Europe anytime again soon to ride it. Heck, if they don't want to even do that, get something like SFStL's American Thunder. That'd fit there too. Also, anyone else think that perhaps for next year that Ricochet may be moved to Planet Snoopy? They could then open up the area it's in now for a second waterpark entrance. I also think the current top part of Planet Snoopy (Flying Aces, water play area, and possibly Peanuts Showplace) should be moved to the Kidzville area or removed and that space opened up for when the park decides to get rid of Shockwave for a wingrider or something.
  17. I don't know how people enjoy Hurler with that strong trim at the bottom of the first hill. All the airtime's gone now.
  18. Most likely to SFStL. I think SFNE's may go to SFA if it's removed.
  19. Dorney Park on Saturday, SFGAdv on Sunday.
  20. I'll probably go to the waterpark for 4 hours or so, but since I plan to be at the park from open to close, which is midnight, I feel I should have ample time to ride and reride everything on the ride side a few times.
  21. ^ You mean even on weekends there's no lines? If so, that's awesome news.
  22. I plan to go to Dorney on August 4th, which is a Saturday. I usually avoid Saturdays at parks but I figured it's open til midnight, I hear weekends aren't that bad on the rides side of the park, and it's the only time I have to go. I know it was mentioned upthread that the clientele leaves a lot to be desired on weekends, but how are the lines? I went last year on a weekday at it was almost dead there. I would go on Sunday, but I'm doing SFGAdv then. I can't afford Fast Lane, as I'm already doing Flash Pass the next day. Any hints?
  23. I don't get the Easter confusion. The park doesn't seem to have a problem with religion in the holidays. Note the big nativity scene they have in the Christmas section. Besides, the park already has a show that's all covers of contemporary Christian music and is now offering it's first Christian concerts this year. I wouldn't foresee a problem, what with the park being in a pretty religious area anyway.
