Went there on Saturday. And rode my 400th Coaster!! Rode The Following: Intimidator Night Hawk Woodstock Express Lucy's Crabbie Cabbie (I was able to ride it by myself. Either due to my charm, or not enough people to force 2 people seats) Afterburn Thunder Road- The Blue Side (Someone help me with what name side it is) Boo Blasters Carolina Cobra Carolina Gold Rusher Carolina Cyclone (Just Noticed that) Hurler Carolina Sky Tower Notes Thunder Road was closed (Due to Low Staffing) Ricochet Was closed (Maybe due to weather?) Wind Seeker was closed (Unknown as there was no employee there despite it testing earlier) Not bad for 4 hours. Ate at Jim & Nick's BBQ. Good! And had Sonic for Dinner and Jack in the Box for Breakfast. -

Since It's most likely gonna rain (Not thunder/lightning according to a Weather site?) Will the rides still operate or will everything be closed? PS, I don't care about the waterpark so exclude that. -

I hate Well Water. Is the drinking fountain water salty or not? -
The park owner has stated that they can't afford 2 trains for Hades. That should be a big enough warning for the park. All well, They bought another hotel. How bad are the hotels when they cost less than a coaster train? I would love if Merlin or some big chain like Palace would acquire it and make it good.

That was a fast recovery then. -
Adding 50 feet to the drop would require the lift hill to be steeper and to add structure. I think they only added 10 feet to Texas Giant. As for the Rattler, they didn't have to add structure, but simply remove structure to make the drop bigger. To be quite honest, I think it would be to difficult for them to add 50 feet. The Boss sits on top of the park and probably catches a lot of wind. Adding 10-20 feet to the structure seams quite possible, but adding 50 feet would be difficult. Trying to support that added structure from swaying in the wind would be the hardest part, because you would be adding it to the existing structure. I don't know if that makes any sense, but it's really difficult to explain. As for making it work as a hyper, that would be something the park doesn't have. But it would be difficult to gauge weather the GP would be more drawn to a hyper or a looping coaster. The ride could have a steeper drop and therefor be able to have a longer drop. Also the ride uses a double dip for the first drop. Removing that double dip would allow more land for a 50ft longer drop without affecting the height of the lift.
