Blackpool or Flamingo (RCT3Bross) Need more help
Rollercoaster Rider replied to RCT3Bross's topic in Ask Alvey
^ Kennywood? Knoebel's? I would suggest Blackpool cause: Icon looks really cool Steeplechase is very unique Dora's World Voyage is a must do Unique Dark Rides Valhalla (Put plastic shopping bags on your feet) (And there's a gift shop under Flying Machines that sells used wood from their coasters + used parts from current and former rides) And you'd better get there cause you don't know what they're gonna remove next -
Since it was listed online from a reputable site. Lots of new attractions and park changes coming in 2018. - New miniature train, new Rockin’ Tug, new scrambler, new tilt-a-whirl, new yo-yo, new high dive show, and new kids slide complex. I'm glad they're adding flat rides cause that's what the park really needed.

Ironically released around the time the company went public. I'm not a big conspiracy theory buff but I truely think that if SeaWorld never went public, The movie wouldn't have been officially released or gotten the attention. Compared to a Whale park in Canada that may or may not have a 4 looping Arrow coaster that may or may not illegally bury dead animals in backstage areas that was able to stop a documentary about them from being built.

Kennywood (KW) Discussion Thread
Rollercoaster Rider replied to DenDen's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Probably not. Kennywood isn't a park that's known to implement over the top safety measures. Does giving people rubberbands their hair to ride Black Widow count? Also, They have Garfield's Nightmare for the safety measure to prevent them from being a great park -

Six Flags merging with SeaWorld Parks January 17, 2013- "This is Terrifying News" August 16, 2016- "At this point, I think I'm okay with them making the purchase." SeaWorld did this to themselves. -

If I was in a band, I'd call myself TBD or Coming Soon. That way, anytime a show guide shows it, It'll be free publicity for me. -
Losing a ride with a lower minimum height for one with a higher minimum, this is just one reason why I think Verbolten wasn't the best idea - the massive price tag being another. Still a better drop ride than Mach Tower, I guess. They also spent slightly less (46/40) on Antarctica Then announcing a new coaster a year before it opens (Invadr) And does anyone think Infinity Falls will open before Memorial Day? I've heard zero news regarding construction. Congrats, they're on the Six Flags building timeframe.

Who would've thought that going from a Privately owned company to a public company would've been bad. Apart from Six Flags and Cedar Fair, The stock market has been great for theme parks. How much do you wanna bet that these shuttered things are because they don't want to pay to remove them? Also, what's sadder? - Kennywood is adding more this year than Busch Gardens Tampa has since 2013 (4/2) - Six Flags America has added more non-relocated,amusement rides than Busch Gardens Tampa since 2013 (3/2) I bring these 2 parks up not because they are worse than Busch Gardens Tampa but because they most likely make less money a year, charge less, and have less attendance than Busch Gardens Tampa. The only good part of this... Six Flags Florida?

Okay, I get that they would cut a multi-sensory, everything-that-can-break-down-will, immersive dark ride for budgetary reasons, but something as simple as a freestanding net structure / adventure fort? I don't get it. One of the whole points of that sort of attraction is that it doesn't have to be staffed as heavily as a dark ride either. SeaWorld's is old, I get that, but Sesame Place replaced their old structure with a new one for Cookie's Monster Land. They closed Tidal Wave. How many people did it take to run that? They closed Curiosity Caverns and most likely still kept the animals and temporarily closed Jambo Junction Busch Gardens has really been treated like a dying mall. Look at all that is SBNO in the last few years and still is - Theater by Zagora Cafe - Gwazi - Rhino Rally - Terrace Restaurant - Bird Gardens Gift Shop - Tidal Wave - Curiosity Caverns/ Jambo Junction - Questor - Jungle Flyers - Wild Surge - Treetop Trails Since 2012, They've added Falcon's Fury and Cobra's Curse

It's going to be removed, along with the boat and water play area when it transforms into Sesame Street. The rest of the rides will be staying and at least one new flat ride added. Dead inside. Yeah I mean that net structure at SeaWorld is kind of crazy, there are some steep sections that are kind of hard to navigate for kids and overall it is kind of dated but the trails at Busch Gardens are so simple and fun that I don't really get why they're being closed. Budget, Like DarKastle

LOL, very true. well, i haven't ridden it since it's gotten bad. long time ago, before you were born, it was pretty fun and smooth. I'm probably spoiled but when I rode Big One or Desperado, I wondered how great it would be if they had Phantom's Revenge style restraints
