I think we've settled on the Mazda 3. 0% for 60 months, $500 cash back, and no payments for 90 days. My wife instantly fell in love with it, and I have to say I was pretty impressed. We checked out the Corolla, and being a Toyota guy, I was totally bored with it. And the seats sucked too. For giggles we also looked at the Fiesta. It's a sharp little car. Too small for us, but it got a load of options, and is well priced, and you can't go wrong with the gas mileage. The dealer said they had 40 Fiesta's arrive in the past two weeks, and every single one of them has sold. They don't even have one for the showroom floor!

Yes. A big name guy. You don't retire a number for a "big name guy" that plays for your team a couple of years. I'm still not sold on the the Heat being contenders. Mike Miller??? MIKE MILLER?! You've got to be kidding me. As a Bulls fan, I'm loving the three dolts duping the Bulls for Miami. Gar Forman is using all this cap room to gather up a lot of above average players now to fill the roster. Brad Miller is in talks to resign. JJ Redick should be a Bull by the end of the week, because of the way the structured the contract. I'm actually excited about this season!

I played with one yesterday. My buddy who replaced his 3Gs said it's not much faster. He'd just updated the 3Gs to OS4 before upgrading Saturday, and thinks they're about the same speed.

My wife poo pooed the Fit, but after driving her brother's Civic this weekend, want's to look at it. She loves speed. I think we're narrowed down to the Mazda3 or the Fit.....

After the un-resolved brake issue with the CRV, I don't know if I'll go back. If the discs are that light weight, and get bent that easily. No thanks. Hyudai's are out of the question. We has a Sonata for a rental (during the CRV issue), and it was a noisy POS. I love VWs, but Cameron and I had an in depth talk about them a summer or two ago on our way to Indiana Beach. If you're used to Japanese cars, going German (even a VW), will boggle your mind - according to him.

We walked a couple of lots on Sunday (they're closed here so no pushy sales people), so my wife could wrap her head around the prices, the models, and what she started with her suggestion of a second car. She's not fond of the Yaris with the exception of the price. Didn't like the styling on the Fit, which I found OK, but I had major issues with our CRV so, I'm a little leary. And she loved the Corolla S. Which, of course, doesn't have the same good offer as the other Corolla models. I find it funny that my wife is the one that pushed for the V6 Sport RAV4, and now she's pushing for a sportier model for the second car. I think she's a gearhead, but doesn't know it. I really wish the Fiesta's were out (any day now). They're very tempting.

My wife and I have finally decided sharing a car just isn't working anymore. We've been doing it for ten years, but it's getting to be a major pain juggling who uses it when. That being said, we're looking at a second car for just toting around town, and we'll continue to use the RAV4 for road trips and the heavy winter driving. We're looking at the Yaris, Corolla, Fit, Fiesta, and the Civic. Maybe the Mazda3 and the Sentra, but they're starting to hit close to $20K, which is not in the budget. This is the first time we have to buy a vehicle for need, and not want so we're both a bit flumuxed on which one we like. Any ideas? We like the idea of a little more storage with a hatchback, but it's not a deal breaker either. This sub compact/compact category is just so filled with options it's crazy. Oh yeah, Toyota is offering 0% until June 30th.....

It's still on the docket for tonight, so I wouldn't say that Chang isn't coming. We'll know more by tomorrow, as I'm sure some coaster geek will go to the meeting tonight. I'm not enamored with it coming, but I'm not against it either. Although if Iron Wolf goes......
