  1. I was really looking forwards to going on this with the dueling when I went down there. /sigh
  2. Silver Streak, the Fly and the Bat at CW, but that's because I went to get extra rides on Behemoth and my friend wanted to re-ride the woodie about a million times. Mindbender at Galaxyland, though I might still be too short for it. :/
  3. Behemoth scared the crud of me until I got on the lift hill, after which I was fine. Flight Deck, Minebuster and SkyRider also managed to scare the crud out of me for a few seconds.
  4. I want to go on Top Thrill Dragster mostly. If you listed a bucket list, I'd put everything on it.
  5. I babble to everyone I know about my obsessions, mostly on social networking sites. Needless to say, I think quite a few people have managed to block me.
  6. All overheard today: Line-up for an Enterprise: "I heard this thing has a 25% chance of failing." "You fall out when you go upside down." On a Swinging Ship: "Someone fell out of this into a lake." And then they tried the penny trick. Later in the day, there was a quick power failure on a roller coaster (we were in the station but they wouldn't let us out until the power was back on), and the girl behind me said, "I'm really glad the power didn't fail when we were upside down!" which led to me turning to my sister and explaining physics of a roller coaster. Funnily enough, these were all teenage girls.
  7. Alberta. The only reason I haven't been on all the coasters in Alberta is because I'm too short for Mindbender. :/ Actually, all of Western Canada.
  8. Right now on tumblr most people are calling Superman: Tower of Power a roller coaster.
  9. My entire family is like this, so I'm usually the person hitting the rides non-stop. For parks I've visited before I'll ride the coasters and rides I like, though if there's short lines I marathon them. (I've done Sonic Twister at Galaxyland fifteen times in a row before.) I'm more of a ride person because I'll only stop if I'm feeling sick or if I've done everything I've wanted to do. In a new park I need to do all the rides. In the Disney parks I'll take it slow since there's a lot of atmosphere and the thrill rides are spaced fairly far apart. Still dislike going to shows and eating and all if I haven't done all the rides though. :/
  10. I haven't been on a really good ride in ages, so I play RCT3 and stalk websites and when I was younger I used to take out Disney guidebooks from the library. I've been doing this for a while. I'm actually counting down the days until Canada's Wonderland... cannot wait.
  11. One Short Day - Wicked
  12. The Tower of Terror is, well, terrifying, but once I get off I laugh at myself for being scared. The same with the Looping Starship, though I wasn't that scared while on it, just for a few minutes afterwards. There's a lot of rides that scare me before I get on, but when it's done I usually think they're mildly amusing or fun. There's never a thrill ride I've been on I haven't liked. I'm a little scared of going on Behemoth, but I'm sure once I'm over the first drop I'll enjoy it. The one ride that I am really terrified of are those giant slides. I'm nervous going down regular playground slides, so I will not even go near a giant slide. My sister tried to get me on one a couple days ago. I ended up turning back around halfway up.
  13. You'll Get Over It - Rent NYTW
  14. A conversation with me and my non-coaster-enthusiast friend today: Her: I don't think coasters can go backwards and they can't be two hundred feet tall. Me: Yeah, they can. Her: How do you know? Me: I've been on two backwards coasters and I'm going to Behemoth this summer. Her: It's an illusion. They lie. Me: *mental facepalm* I'll take pictures.
  15. I can ride a motorcycle and I know how to shoot a gun though that might be my dad.
  16. Some kid just said on Facebook that he's going to Disney World and riding Dragon Challenge. Shaking my head.
  17. Canada's Wonderland sometime in August. There are no theme parks around where I live, I swear...
  18. For me my first big coaster was probably Big Thunder Mountain Railroad when I was seven in Disney World. First inverted coaster was last year on my 13th birthday on Vortex at Calaway Park.
  19. I've made ridiculously silly faces on various rides before (I didn't do it, but I saw some kid flash the camera). I've ridden the Solar Flare at Galaxyland ten times in about an hour and a half. Hm ... in Disney World I've ridden Expedition Everest over and over again for about three hours straight--that was in the extra magic hours. I don't know how many times I rode it, though. Next time I go to Calaway Park I plan to ride the Vortex, and only the Vortex, the whole day.
  20. I'm looking forwards to MW3. I haven't played any of the previous MWs, but that will change soon. I need to get Black Ops in my hands again, though. That's pretty much the only game that's only hooked me. Right now I'm kind of half-playing Conduit 2, but it seems kind of tacky to me. Maybe it's the lack of blood.
  21. Right now I'm really liking RENT, Spring Awakening, Sweeny Todd and American Idiot. They're all great and I love the music. I'm going to New York this summer and I'll probably be seeing Phantom of the Opera, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and possibly a couple others. Wicked's also a possibility.
  22. Hi, I'm Jessi. I haven't been on too many roller coasters for many reasons, but I've been obsessed with them since I was six years old. I'm going to a couple good theme parks this summer and I'm looking forwards to it. I nerd over a lot of things, like RCT3, roller coasters, Harry Potter, the Call of Duty games (or any historic FPS)and music.
