I went to Six Flags Over Georgia yesterday. After a slow start (I couldn't find the glasses strings anywhere), the day turned around. I ended going on 20 rides and got two new credits!!.
Goliath 2
Dare Devil Dive 2 (new!)
Georgia Scorcher 1
Mindbender 2
Batman: The Ride 1
Dahlonega Mine Train 1
The Great American Scream Machine 1
Superman: Ultimate Flight 1
Georgia Cyclone 1
Ninja 6 (new!)
I can see what you mean by Ninja being the roughest steel coaster. (Only in the second row of a car.) The new train really did help, though.
The lines were awful in the morning but they died down near the late afternoon. Batman's line is terrible. Six Flags needs to learn how to cover their lines like Busch Gardens does.
All and all, it was a good day.
What do people think of the surf curves or what ever you call them? (The bit inside the old rhino rally section) I though they were the best part of the ride.
In case anyone needs to know, going on Cheetah Hunt sure beats getting Wisdom Teeth forcibly yanked (Ow) out of your head! No really, if you're in florida, go to BGT!!!
Apollo's Chariot definitely. I love the lake, the layout, everything
However, no matter how you put it, these two coasters are some of the best I have ever ridden on!
I went on Friday and can I say Robb you are completely correct! Cheetah Hunt is worth it!!!! (Not that I wouldn't ride it even though it's only 45 min from my house) I rode in the front with a friend; LOVED IT!!! For me, it's up there with Kumba.
Now, if you'll excuse me I get to go get my wisdom teeth pulled. (yep all four of them)
I've ridden SheiKra 14 times and Griffen 3 but I have to say that I like Oblivion the best . I don't know why but If I had to choose one I would choose SheiKra. The drops and Immelmen loop are amazing, not as good as the drop on Oblivion but amazing.
Hey guys, I'm Chas. I live on St. Pete Beach Fl. (only an hour away from Busch Gardens Tampa) I've been on 64 roller coasters (including my favorite, Drachen Fire ) and I love roller coasters, Indycar, and running. This (Thanks to Robb and Elissa) is the best site for roller coaster enthusiasts ever!
