Where in blazes is it going to fall.

I didn't see any part of the track left when I was out there on Friday. Supposedly, that whole area, including the abandoned shopping area, will be used for future expansion. But right now it's all hush hush- if you know what I mean.

Compaired to those poor souls who got stuck at the top of Windseeker for several hours you guys got off easy.

Just came from SFOT, Fright Fest was a blast!! Gotta say, of the four Haunted Houses, Piggy's Slaughter House was the scariest. Circus Bizerkus was pretty cool with the 3-D effects. And Cadaver Asylum was downright unnerving with it's mad doctor theme. Then there's Skullduggery, a spooky walk through the woods with fog machines a plenty. But Piggy's Slaughter House was easily the best of the bunch with it's Texas Chainsaw Massacre theme. One of the most nauseating sights was the garbage can full of discarded human body parts and fake blood!

Flashback first opened at SFOT in the spring of 1989, I was among it's first riders. By the time it re-opens at SFsTL in the spring of 2013 it will be 24 years old. It definitely needs new trains, the current ones are the old Arrow trains with those god awful horse collars. Back when the boomerang was new it seemed pretty smooth and fun to ride. But age has taken it's toll, now the ride is anything but smooth. It can still be a fun ride if they refurbish it properly with new trains and all. But if all they do is paint it a different color then the ride will likely continue to lose ridership.

Boomerangs usually don't take long to remove.

If they're planning to use the same trains then your right. Six Flags St Louis is probably better off without this ride.

I rode the CP Windseeker right after it first opened. In fact, I took this pic while standing in the queue. I'm sorry this had to happen, it worked fine the whole time I was there.

I remember the SFOT Mr Freeze was closed for track work some years ago. If I remember correctly, it was closed for a good while. I believe they were doing repairs to the track or some such. I hope that doesn't happen to SFsTL Freeze, but it sounds as if it's OK.

I've been on Windseekers, but not Starflyers. Which is why I can't wait to try out the SFOT 400' version. I wasn't the least bit scared on the CP Windseeker, but then, I wasn't stuck at the top for several hours either. If that happens on the Texas Skyscreamer it just might do the trick.

I watched them build the Texas Giant back in 1990 and I rode it the first week it was open. I know what a great ride it originally was. I continually rode the Giant throughout the 90's and most of the 2000's. I recorded 100's of laps on it before the RMC overhaul. Which is why I can say that the Giant is better now than it ever has been. As far as Mean Streak goes, I wouldn't mind seeing it replaced with something better. But if they do decide to give it the RMC treatment, it will be a far better ride than it is now.

Having ridden Mean Streak a total of 4 times over my last two trips to CP. I can say, with all honesty, they can either give it the RMC treatment or tear it down and replace it with something better. Right now it's a piece of crap taking up valuable space. I'm willing to bet that anyone who thinks Mean Streak shouldn't recieve the Rocky Mountain treatment probably hasn't ridden NTAG.
