  1. ^I was thinking he should hitchhike, helluva lot cheaper.
  2. I took this shot of MF a couple of years ago. Millennium Force, Cedar Point
  3. To my way of thinking the "Iron Boss" is a very real possibility. The results of RMC "Iron Horse" makeovers on NTAG and iRAT have been nothing short of spectacular. It is not only possible but extremely likely that Six Flags management will want to continue doing these makeovers at more of their parks. Iron Boss is a very logical next step for Six Flags and RMC.
  4. Is TPR planning to attend? I assume Robb will want to be among the first to ride this baby. I won't be able to get down there until July, but it gives me something to look foward to.
  5. WOW!!! July can't get here fast enough for me!!!
  6. Think you'll have enough courage to ride? Most of my friends say they are too scared to get on this thing, looks like I may have to go it alone.
  7. July can't get here fast enough for me. iRAT, here I come!
  8. I wouldn't mind seeing a barrel roll on NTAG, but not a loop. I don't think a loop would make NTAG a better ride. I rode Son of Beast at KI back when it first opened and the loop was definitely nothing special. Neither was the rest of the ride, but that's another story.
  9. I've been saying for the longest that they should remove the Judge and replace it with something better. JRS is the fist wooden coaster ever built at SFOT, it's over 30 years old. A far better coaster could be built on the land JRS is taking up. What's more, the entry lake is the most scenic location in the park. It could be used for an awesome new coaster.
  10. Park security personel told me that SFOT has plans to build a wing rider. Whether that's true or not is up for debate.
  11. INCREDIBLE!!! So that's the view riders will have when they're at the top of the tower. AWESOME!!
  12. Ha! Can't imagine why anyone would be afraid to ride Texas Sky Screamer.
  13. can't wait for testing to begin. It'll take some sheer nerve to ride this baby!
  14. Have they started doing any test runs on Boomerang yet?
  15. My first few rides on Titan back in 2001 were lightly braked at best. Nowhere close to the full stops currently being administered. I can remember at least one ocassion were it seemed as if the train hadn't been braked at all. In other words, it sped right through the MCBR. But it wasn't long after that when they started bringing the trains to full stops on the MCBR. Probably due to complaints.
  16. It's about time. I was beginning to think they would never finish that silly thing.
  17. I'll be down in July to ride this amazing coaster. Can't wait!!!!! Having ridden NTAG many times, I know what to expect.
  18. Took these photos just a few hours ago. Looks like work's progressing on TSS.
  19. That's an awesome location for the Boomerang. It looks way better there than it ever did at SFOT.
  20. That looks to be the parking lot for the abandoned shopping center.
  21. This is most likely due to the prevailing wind conditions in the D/FW area. Spring would be a lousy time to operate a 400ft tower swing in this area.
  22. Big Bend, SFOT Classic coaster, lines moved slow but it was a fun ride.
  23. I'll be heading down to San Antonio in July. Can't wait to try this baby out!!! Having ridden NTAG, I know IRAT will be awsome.
