  1. No one's mentioned this, but SFOT and SFMM are the only two parks were you can ride Giovanolas- Titan/Goliath.
  2. I've just seen several videos of this on YouTube, it's absolutely horrific. My prayers are with the injured and their families.
  3. I was going there Friday afternoon and all day on Saturday. It was the only time I would have been able to travel If your headed to the park next weekend you can expect massive crowds. 4th of July is usually quite mad at SFOT.
  4. We're experiencing the same trouble with our JLBFM here at SFOT. Constant breakdowns.
  5. An Intamin giga would be nice, but theres no place big enough to put it. A ride like Fury 325 would never fit in our park.
  6. For me it would have to be Spring Lake amusement park in Oklahoma. My fondest childhood memories are of this place. Sadly, it was also the scene of a terrible race riot back in the early 70's. It was also known for it's racist policies during the 60's.
  7. More breakdowns on JLBFM today. I sure hope they can get all the bugs ironed out of this thing as guests are becoming frustrated. Right now the ride is breaking down almost constantly. Today it was down several times and at one point it was down for nearly three hours. Frustrated guests wait for hours as the ride breaks down again.
  8. I've ridden both IRAT and NTAG, I consider them equals as far as pure enjoyment is concerned. Neither ride ''destroys'' the other, they are both fine RMC conversions and great rides.
  9. ^The breakdowns on JLBFM are mostly due to bugs in the computer program which controls the ride vehicle movements. Here at SFOT I've ridden numerous times when the cars did not seem to be moving/stopping as they should. I have always gotten re-rides when this would occur.
  10. There's a single rider line on JLBFM. It will let you get on the ride in about 5-10 minutes.
  11. That's awesome!!!!! Hopefully, this will never happen here at SFOT.
  12. I take it you didn't ride JLBFM?
  13. ^^Yes, Cyborg definitely speaks, and yes, you should be able to hear him. This is probably just a technical problem . So far, I haven't noticed any junk sitting around on the Cyborg display here at SFOT. Hopefully, it won't start!!!!!
  14. I agree about the audio. We have the same problem here at SFOT. I can't hear a word Batman is saying during the pre-ride show. Hopefully they can fix this.
  15. There should definitely be a single rider line. We have one here at SFOT and let me tell you it's a godsend. I waited no more than 5 minutes for each of the 4 rides I took. But our regular line seemed to be moving fast too. Wait time seemed to be 30-45 minutes at most. Maybe the 10 ride vehicles are helping our capacity.
  16. Unfortunately, park management probably thinks a Larson Loop would be even more awesome.
  17. ^ I'm thinking Intamin Giga Coaster here. Yep, Intimidator 345, or better yet, Fury 350!!!! Boy, I sure dream big don't I. Yep, I'm just a tad delusional.
  18. The ops told me it was largely a computer issue. Bugs with the program that controls the cars.
  19. Yeah, we've been having the same trouble with our JLBFM here at SFOT. The ride actually broke while I was riding it the other day. But when we got back to the load/unload area we were told to stay on the ride. Once they got it fixed they let us re-ride. Apparently, the cars will occasionally stop in an oddball position. Sometimes facing away from the screen or before they've made it all the way into a particular scene. In one instance, the car I was in stopped sideways to the Lex Luthor hologram. That meant we had to look off to the side to see Lex. If your actually on the ride when it malfunctions you should receive a re-ride. Here we are waiting for our re-ride after the cars malfunctioned.
  20. The Veckoma Boomerang? I'm not sure how much they cost but they seem popular with the general public.
  21. Stuck on Justice League!!! The ride stuck at this point. Waiting for our re-ride!!! I got this score while the ride was malfunctioning. Note the ''6'' on the end. This score I got on the re-ride.
  22. WOW!!!? I'm at the park now and you aren't going to believe what just happened. JLBFM broke down while I was riding. My car kept stopping at various points throughout the ride. The first time this happened was during the first scene. Onscreen, the scene kept repeating itself and we kept blasting away for nearly ten minutes while waiting for the ride to start up again. Unfortunately, this didn't help our scores any. Clearly, they are ironing out a lot of bugs in the ride system. The cars kept stopping at various places. Sometimes they would stop facing away from the screen. Anyway, the ops let us re-ride once the cars were moving again. I see now how much trouble shooting goes into a ride this complicated.
  23. I'm hoping to see some pov's of the SFSTL version of JLBFM in the next week or two. It'll be interesting to compare the two versions, although I'm sure they're basically the same. Still, the SFSTL version looks incredible and I can't wait to see more footage of the queue line as well as the ride itself. Both parks now boast fantastic new attractions.
  24. If you ask me the ride should already be open. There are guests at SFOT riding our JLBFM even as we speak. And you guys have to wait until June 5th, even though the ride is probably completed and ready to take on guests. I think it's totally unfair to make you guys wait so long.
  25. A light rain won't cause anything to close. A downpour, on the other hand, will likely cause most rides to shut down. On Saturday many rides, including NTAG, had closed due to constant heavy rain.
