Anyone know what the crowds should be like at the park today?

Anyone know how crowded the park should be tomorrow? Heard it was dead last weekend, hoping it's the same tomorrow.

I just changed Star Jet's status in Coaster Counter to closed.

I think my first B&M was Medusa/Bizarro at SFGAdv. I could be wrong, I don't really remember.

Interesting, I re-rode Griffon even with people in my row. Maybe it was some sort of fluke occorance and will never happen again.

Haha, the sad thing is that although my school system is apparently really good, I could totally see my English teacher doing the same thing. I'm sure that goes for quite a few other people too.

Kings Island should rent a fleet of wood chippers and grind the whole ride down to sawdust, then have a huge bonfire fueled by the sawdust, and then take the ashes from the bonfire and dump them into a volcano.

The ride's entrance will be behind the Northern Star Arena and will connect to the safari in what is now the tiger section. They are going to make use of some backstage area's so they won't have to cut many trees down.

They actually own much much more land than that. There are Six flags POSTED signs at the edged of the woods all the way to route 195 (if you pay attention you will notice them). I believe this is because the park has to buy an acre of undeveloped land for every acre of tree's they cut down. At least that's what I heard, correct me if I'm wrong.

No, I'm pretty sure none of the people interviewed (except Robb) were REAL coaster enthusiasts. None of those people had any idea what they were talking about, especially the kid who said Medusa is the best coaster in the country. I'm still shocked by that statement.....

^Bizarro is never more than 5 minutes when I'm there, even on fairly crowded days. I guess you must have just gotten unlucky and got on line when there was a really terrible operator running it or something like that.

A drop tower in the center of KK's tower would be cool, I'm surprised no one has come up with that idea until now because it would probably work better than most of the other alternatives. No supports run through the center of the tower so the space is pretty much unobstructed. The park could probably also use Kingda Ka's old queue because the drop tower would not require the queue to go under the launch track. BTW-Welcome to TPR!

The waterpark seems to really suck all the crowds out of the theme park on nice days. Probably the one reason I like Dorney.

Just saw the G-force giants episode yesterday but was somewhat bothered by the fact that they called everyone they quoted a "coaster enthusiast". I mean I have a pretty loose definition of coaster enthusiast but you at least have some idea what your talking about to qualify as one. Some of the people they interviewed were very clearly just random people who don't even know some general roller coaster terminology . I think "park patron" is a more appropriate term for some of the people in a show. Just my opinion

From what I hear it's just some routine maintenance on the cars. Hopefully they're repainting them because that ride doesn't really fit too well in Adventure Alley with it's current Golden Kingdom themeing.

Dominator (yellow track on loop), Green Lantern at SFGAdv (yellow track on loop), Kingda Ka (alternating paint colors on launch track), Verbolten (has black track inside building), are a few others that I can think of.

^One of the many reasons TPR is my favorite Theme Park Website or whatever it's called. L/o/c/k/e/r/s was replaced with fluffy fluffy bunnies filled with medicine goo too.

I'm really kind of liking this. Great layout, just the right amount of custom scenery. Plus great teaser photos. I cant wait to see more.

Yeah, they've really been pushing Nitro lately. Its good to see that ride getting some love

I bet they repainted that wierd textured black coasting on the railings. It's been almost completely scraped off by guests who try to scratch their name on it, so I wouldnt be surprised if they slopped a new coating on. Thats probably what the black stuff was.
