  1. Thanks, and yes the station will have a roof, I'm just not sure what set I'm going to use yet. Its hard to decide when you have cs sets that you have never even used. Also if you noticed, Jersey Devils train is the default colors, I forgot to recolor it to my planned black, red, and grey color scheme.
  2. -May, 1976 Hello, my name Ron Harrolds. I am in charge of the construction of a new amusement park off route 78 in New Jersey. It will most likely be named Garden State Adventures but that is still subject to change. When it opens it will feature state of the art thrill rides as well as smaller attractions for younger children. Some of the main attractions will be a roller coaster (named Jersey Devil) that dives into a turn just above the parks central lake, the longest log flume in the world and a parachute tower. Construction is scheduled to start next month, will keep you updated on the latest developments on the project. So far the company I work for and is building the park (Nitroforever Inc.) has only permitted me to release a small bit of the extensive concept art we have been making over the past few months. A few drawings of the jersey devil coaster. the drop over the lake The lakefront pavilion, we plan to have shows and events on it The island in the center of the lake, this is what it will look like when the landscaping is complete Jersey Devils queue and station, the entire park will be elaborately landcaped jersey Devil.... see you soon, Ron Harrolds
  3. A rabid green chinchilla from outer space, who liked to eat rotten strawberries....
  4. Much taller than I thought too. I thought it would have a smaller lift hill, that was the way it seemed in the renderings.
  5. Did you read what robmiester wrote? He said this was a second attempt at a park he did before. Oh, I was sort of skimming through the topic.
  6. Didn't somebody have a park called Busch gardens Asia a while back, or am I just going insane?
  7. The Hearst Tower in NYC The Guggenheim Museum (the one in new york) The interior is especially cool
  8. This is awesome, however I don't think you are making the storyline as realistic as SFSC was. I small example would be that you are building the rides before you add the parks trees. In SFSC you had trees all over the property and you did "land clearing" when you were building a new ride. Just my opinion.......... Other than that, , I cant wait to see more.
  9. Yeah, and its only 3 million (not that thats exactly cheap but relative to other rides...)
  10. NOTHING! Whats worse than pop-up adds when you open a website?
  11. X-flight is going by Demon, Iron Wolfs footprint is going to be nothing.............yet... EDIT: ^damn, you beat me too it....
  12. Have you even ridden them? Yes!
  13. I'm usually not that into NCS parks but I really like your setup so far. The only thing I think would make the park a lot better is maybe using multiple path styles to make patterns in the pavement, I think it would make the midways more interesting to look at.
  14. This is almost perfect, especially the last helix, the only thing is I think the cobra roll should be narrower.
  15. Whats up with the track color on Grizzly on the drop, did the park run out of paint?
  16. Wow, how did you find such a perfectly empty and flat piece of land to build your park on?
  17. I love the parking lot, keep up the good work.
  18. Nice, I don't think the trams re really necessary in such a small parking lot but its your park. Also, give your buildings some windows, otherwise its good.
  19. Those queue railings are great, where did you get them?
  20. People on the news are coaster idiots, roller coasters are not dangerous, you just cant ride them with no legs. Also, the New Texas Giant probably stopped on the lift hill so someone didn't get hurt. You are perfectly safe on the top of the hill in the train, but the stupid news people think that getting stuck on a lift hill its a deadly situation that you have to be rescued from.
  21. The Great White It has a gigantic sign. You can see more of the ride from the crane working on our parachutes ride. A shot from inside the queue. Themeing. The entrance in relation to the aloha wheel, there's fake coral reefs near the entrance.
  22. So I was waiting in line for Kingda Ka yesterday, there was this guy in front of me that kept looking towards the tower every time the train launched. Apparently, he was trying to figure out how fast Kingda Ka goes because a few seconds later he turned to the person next to him and says: "did you know that kingda ka goes 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4 seconds. It just blows my mind that some one would be stupid enough to not know Kingda Ka's speed while waiting in line. He would have had to pass whole gift shops full of KK merchandise, and in the slim chance that he missed that, the soundtrack in the station he walked past clearly states "reaching speeds of 128 miles per hour".
  23. The new audio seems less annoying. Hopefully its not so loud so you can actually talk to someone on the lift!
