mmm... i can't wait to ride nemesis. I think this might me my most anticipated coaster ever. i mean, I've known about it ever since I saw it on one of those coaster shows right when it was built or a year after or whatever... I have been dying to ride it ever since. Even though I have only been on Raptor and two SLCs, I think the inverted coaster is my favorite type. It has the coolest feeling, in my opinion.

I was a ride op at Martin's Fantasy Island from 1999-2001. I did many many Zamperla rides in the kiddie park, as well as the ghetto airplane ride and the ghetto boat ride. Outside of the kiddy park, I did the carousel, flying bobs (SCARY with those things flying right at your face, let me tell you), carpet slide (how the heck do you op a carpet slide??), and the unload platform of the log flume. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to op the Silver Comet.

yeah. but i mean, look at the track pieces. they were definitely taken apart deliberately, not just bulldozed over.

I think they are going to rebuild it eventually. If they were just going to scrap it, they wouldn't have taken it apart so carefully.

Darien lake sucks. It needs something... ANYTHING. if they really put batman in, i will visit. my friends will all be like "yay! a new coaster!" they won't know it's eleven billion years old. lol.

Just to add my two cents - It still seems big to me. The tallest coaster I've ever ridden is S:ROS. Yay June! Ok, I'm done being random and pointless now.
