  2. him "killing loneliness"... yay ville valo is serenading me!
  3. I'll say it again: I didn't realize there were so many bass players on here! it makes me so happy!
  4. I was staying in Ronkonkoma at the time, and if my memory serves me right (which it never does), it was about 15-20 minutes away from where I was in Ronkonkoma.
  5. "sick boy" by Kill Hannah AHHH VEKOMA! these new smilies are the best!
  6. we should start the "pictures of your bass" thread! 8) I didn't know we had so many bass players in here! I'm so happy!

  9. "outta me onto you" by ani difranco!
  10. :shock: :shock: :shock: Forceless?? surely you have not experienced a typical ride on the SFDL one, anyways... :shock: :shock: :shock: Maybe i'm just particularly force-sensitive!
  11. A sign from an amusement park ride. Oh, wait!
  12. I'm listening to Lords of Acid, and the song title is not pg-13.
  13. haha... i know... I was so confused when I first saw it.. it didn't click until my friend read it aloud!
  14. yay happy birthday soren!
  15. and then... the best part... I saw Mr. Six waiting for a train in Penn Station!!! :shock: Oh yeah.. the free stuff thing... we went wine tasting and the guy gave us free wine
  16. Tricia came and picked us up a couple days later, and we stayed at her house for the last two days of the trip. Tricia ran over this and dragged it for about half a mile! It made the most hilarious scraping sound ever While at Chili's, we had 3 people, but 47 million coasters. "WTF??" I say to my foamy strawberry dacquiri (I can't spell) Tricia was a ride op at Boomer's back in the day. After reminiscing about crazy things park patrons do, and fun times with fellow ride ops, she took me to her former place of employment. I would have gotten a credit!!!! ::cries:: Stupid Boomer's. I shake my fist at you.
  17. P.S. I know I look like a giant in that one picture, I'm only 5'7". Ashly and Beth are midgets. Here are me and Ashly, and Paul's phone, NOT getting a credit on the LIRR. Pretty lights in Manhattan... ...and at Jones Beach. Yes I am a music dork.
  18. This is the closest I've ever gotten to Coney Island. Alas. We went to Paul's house for NYE. He has a really cute dog named Rocky. "Where's the booze?" "Oh... here it is!" The next day, we went bowling. My score was 69 and I was so excited! We also went to Cold Stone for some ice cream. I'm pretty sure this is not politically correct. Yeah, it's the tree, big deal.
  19. Hi everybody... I am finally back from my week on Long Island and here are some of my pictures. This trip is known by the following names: The Music Majors Invade Manhattan Trip (all the females on the trip are music majors), The Cute Girls Get Free Stuff Trip, and The How-Many-Movies-Can-You-Watch-In-4-Days Trip (we watched about 10). Also, I came SO DARN CLOSE to getting a credit, and I am very bitter lol. Things that did NOT count as a credit that I did on this trip: 1. Riding the Amtrak 2. Riding the LIRR 3. Raising our hands and saying "WHEEE" every time we went over a speed bump (the entire car did this, it was fun!) 4. Riding the NYC subway 5. Seeing a Mr. Six lookalike in Penn Station Anyway, on with the pics! This was the first thing I saw in Manhattan... a K-Mart??!! It totally blew my mind. That night, we went to Dave and Buster's. We did some really cool shots, the Over/Under shots. Two different kinds of shot in one glass. There's my shot. It tasted like Jolly Rancher! Somehow, Ashly ended up with a 5 euro note. We played this cool shuffleboard game, girls vs. guys. The guys kicked our butts. But we tried to cheat by distracting them. Paul's friends thought I thought they were hot because I was taking their picture... yeah right. I was taking a cool action shot. Besides, none of them are dorky enough for my taste. Then we rented a movie! Ashly and Paul proudly display "Beef III"! No, we didn't rent this movie.
  20. --Your 2005 year in review: student taught, graduated college, got a job teaching, got accepted to UB for grad... ohhh coaster related?? I went to PCW in July, the Erie County Fair (although no coasters), and SFDL for Fright Fest (which was lame) --Your first coaster of the year: Italian Job:Stunt Track at PCW... yay it has forces! --Your last coaster of the year: Umm... either Viper or Superman at SFDL, can't really remember --Best new steel to me: IJ:ST... yay it has forces! --Best new wood to me: umm, didn't do any new wood this year. maybe next year i will experience some new wood. some good wood too hopefully. the song that just came on my itunes is "norwegian wood" isn't that ironic? --Best new flat ride to me: The jump 2 at PCW --Best new water ride to me: Unless riding coasters in the rain counts, I didn't go on any water rides this year! --Best new dark ride/walk through to me: Scooby Doo's Haunted Mansion or whatever it's called, at pcw --Best new water park attraction to me: didn't go on any water park stuff... I bought a new bathing suit and everything too, i was so disappointed. --Best new park to me: Didn't go to any new parks! OMG i am lame! Somebody take me to a new park quick! --Best park "moment" of the year: We got on Skyrider at PCW and it started POURING.. it was amazing. the second we got off the ride it stopped raining. --Best overall park "trip" of the year: PCW was amazing. Probably because I traveled with three insane people. --Worst new attraction (any kind) to me of the year: TOMB RAIDER AT PCW --Best event at a park: What are these "events" you speak of --Best non-event day at a park: pcw --Best non-park related moment of the year: Hmmm I don't really have one specifically. Singing "Leaving on a jet plane" with my friends at our anti-valentine's day party was awesome though. Moving out of our apartment after graduation and we started crying was pretty intense. --Favorite TPR post/thread of the year: the picture thread, cause i'm a camera whore and like to see the pics of other people also. i also enjoyed abusing the beer thread by posting pictures of crystal light --Best Amusement related news of the year: IJ:ST at PKD. Hopefully this means people will be pulled to that ride, and away from the ones I want to ride! ::evil grin:: --Worst Amusement related news of the year: SFAW closing... I really wanted to go to that park some day. --Ride that I had to rethink my opinion of in 2005: Thunder Run at PCW. I used to think it was awesome, but it has just lost its appeal for me. --Hopes for 2006: hit coaster #50, maybe go to some events. I need some walkbacks, that would make my year. i love seeing things like that. i'm considering joining ACE, because i'm insane. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll hit coaster #60, but I'm not holding my breath. Meeting a few people I've met on TPR would be cool as well. Oh yeah I'll be going to BGW for the first time... I am very excited.
  21. ::sings:: i am so smart... s-m-r-t...
  22. ::ahem:: you're already married
  23. i'm very confused about that, because on the Coasterbuzz boards somebody posted pics of what is DEFINITELY vekoma SLC track on the back of a truck in Ohio. aka NOT b:te. I'm not sure if it's the same coaster that got confused, or two seperate things. I'll keep my eyes peeled for everybody on the I-90! Who knows, maybe I'll have a repeat of the time I saw Vampire track headed for LaRonde. Nearly had a heart attack when that happened, lol. This time I'll actually have my camera with me. I hope this rumor is true; I need all the credits I can get! and SFDL is a very boring place once you've already visited it... I could spend three hours there and ride all the rides.
  24. stupid roller coaster at boomer's (medford, ny)... i would have ridden you (and gotten a credit!! ) if you had been open!
