hi everybody, i know i've been on here for a little while but i don't really care, i'm going to introduce myself to the new people. My name is Nicole, I live on a little island in the Niagara River halfway between Niagara Falls and Buffalo. The Silver Comet is in my back yard and Canada is in my front yard. I worked at Martin's Fantasy Island for two years as a ride op, but wasn't old enough to work any coasters. I'm 22 years old (::points to thingy at the left: and have been on very few coasters. I'm a music teacher/grad student at the University at Buffalo. I like stupid cartoons, drop towers, coffee, and dorky people I can act like an idiot with. I don't like sports (except hockey!), "toilet bowl"-style water slides, beer, and people who take themselves too seriously. That's me in a nutshell, I'm a music dork and a coaster dork. And a camera whore. If anyone comes up to the Buffalo area for some coaster riding, let me know! We can meet up and maybe get some credits out of the deal.

My friends and I went wine tasting on Long Island yesterday. Three borderline cute girls in their early 20s + male worker in his late 20s and no other customers = free wine for three girls. We went to three wineries, but I don't have any pictures of the third one. Vines behind Corey Creek, the sister winery to Bedell. Buy a $5 wine tasting pass at one, and you get to try the other place free. I took a picture of this merlot because it was the first merlot I ever tried that didn't make me want to VOMIT... Bedell. Didn't get anything free here. Some barrels. yeah. Our first stop, Lenz.

oh boy, i have many alcohol pictures for y'all when i get home. (i'm in NYC) ok well i only have a couple but i didn't really get TOO drunk this vacation.

i ride the kiddie coasters that are not just an oval... example, i will ride ghoster coaster at pcw, but i won't go out of my way to ride "brain teaser" at sfdl

I would also count Gwazi as two if i had ridden both sides. same with DD, who DOESN'T count them as two? I mean, gosh, they're painted two different colours! The only ones I wouldn't count as two are the racers that are one continuous track, like the one at kennywood. It took some convincing by a certain "credit-whoring" TPR member to get me to count gemini as two... lmao I mean, come on, if people will ride every kiddie coaster they can to get credits, at least let me count Gemini as two!

i still don't like counting twin/racing/dueling/whatever coasters as 2 credits. however, i have finally been coerced into believing i can count Gemini as 2 credits. Space Mountain at WDW, I am not sure if I rode both sides, so I still only count it as one. Powered coasters you can't count because they don't run on gravity, right?? I also don't count S:TE as a coaster, because it just reminds me of a 1st gen intamin freefall too much. not that i've ridden it or anything. WOW, I'm coming up with things to NOT count, as opposed to things TO count! lol!

LOL everybody... it's not one park... each of those rides is in a different par i've made! sorry i didn't tell u that before... lol

- last day of work for a week and a half - leaving for NYC on THURSDAY!!! - i put whipped cream on my finger and let my cat lick it off.. it was so cute!

Hey everybody. I have not yet posted my lovely RCT2 creations for you to all drool over. Ok you won't drool, they're not very good. I have never made a whole park, I always get sick of them too soon. p.s. i have never made a park called Six Flags Over Your Mom, but I think i might. the queue house and station for Q, the first ride-able 4D i've ever made. I've made a coaster called Screw Coaster, a tribute to everybody's favourite Japanese coaster. This gives you a better idea of Screw Coaster's layout. Wow, my Intamin mega coaster is a huge hit! Whiplash, a ride that doesn't really live up to its name! Yeah, this was a pretty crazy coaster. It's just a series of ginormous hills and lots of airtime. Maybe one day i'll actually have the attention span to do a complete park! ok well not one DAY more like... a series of days... anyway, let me know what you think! i really like the look of whiplash, it looks like it could be real

you want it, you got it. september 13, 1983 - born in niagara falls ny 1984 - did stuff one-year-olds do 1985 - had really curly hair. liked to run around in my undies with a bucket on my head. 1986 - went to Canada's Wonderland for the first time. I loved the swan boat thingy. 1987 - went to Crystal Beach; was terrified of Laff-in-the-Dark 1988 - went to skool 1989 - Crystal beach closed; I mourned I would never ride the Comet 1990 - while on the lazy river at martin's fantasy island, i saw the comet track in storage... damn them for not building it there!! but i guess it will never be as cool as it was when it was against the water 1991 - i was still in school and i learned stuff 1992 - i went to disney world for the first (and only, so far) time. rode my first "real" (non-kiddie) coasters... space mt and big thunder 1993 - i started playing the clarinet. 1994 - got my first computer, and text-based internet. went to cedar point for the first time. rode raptor in the front row, joygasmed. was hooked on coasters. magnum in the pouring rain, however, was not so great. i think we waited something insane like 2 hours for raptor. 1995 - um, what can i say about 7th grade. we had a power outage and my earth science teacher made us still take notes with just the emergency lights on, the room had no windows 1996 - went back to cedar point, rode mantis which my dad loved, got stuck on the 1st lift of draggin' iron ("i can barely tell the difference!" - my coaster nut mom).. haven't been to CP since 1997 - had my first band, we were "goth rock" and had no drummer... our dog died when i was at Darien Lake 1998 - my favorite part of the band trip was the side trip to PKD... I got pulled up to play in wind ensemble cuz one of the clarinets couldn't go... i was the only freshman and it was very scary but cool... watched the construction of Silver Comet 1999 - Watched them build Silver Comet some more (WHY THE HELL didn't i take any pictures??!!??!!)... rode Silver Comet and found my favourite woody ever <3 .... heard that Prince song a lot. made conference all state. 2000 - went to NYC for the first time with the Greater Buffalo Youth Orchestra... made conference all state... i hosted a Y2K alien-themed new year's party 2001 - graduated high school, went to college. got first digital camera, became camwhore. did typical college student things. made a hilarious video with my friends. 2002 - played my guitar at lots of open mic nights. went to chicago for the first (only) time. 2003 - was finally in college symphony, rejoiced at flambouyantly gay conductor. we also had a grad conductor guy from Germany who was very cool and sometimes said things nobody could understand 2004 - took Technology in Music, fell in love with imac G5s... played principal clarinet in pit orchestra for Bernstein's "Candide" which was AMAZING.... dated one of the leads lol what a groupie. 2005 - rung in the new year wasted on Long Island, had champagne for the first time, went to Chinatown for the first time, went to Little Italy and had old Italian guys hitting on us... i love NYC!!! 2006 - ????? What I know for sure... I will be going to NYC for new year's... I'm going to the University at Buffalo for my graduate work in music ed starting in january... interviewing for teaching jobs here and in Virginia (friends there), visiting my crazy brain-twin Liz in Virginia and breaking coaster #50... maybe she'll break #10 LOL... hopefully getting an apartment with my weird-and-awesome Bosnian friend Elbisa... making some random friends and hopefully a few bucks too as I teach at the music school and the retail hell... i'll be doing the greenhouse in the summer and making mad cash, hopefully I'll remember sunscreen more often this summer As you can see, my life is pretty hilarious, and filled with lots of music and a couple coasters!
