  2. 1) I haven't ridden a rollercoaster since we got in free to IOA for Universal Knights during Spring semester and before that hadn't ridden one for over a year. 2) I moderate a subforum at somethingawful.com 3) I don't like cats but I love my cat 4) I want to go to vet school but I hate the idea of being a clinical veterinarian 5) I have to move away from Florida for grad school and I feel like crying about it every day!
  3. I posted here like 100 pages ago so it's time to post again We are awesome! (I have the pink gloves on) somehow this is 2 years ago
  4. Robb You should find a way to work Electric Six's "Gay Bar" into one of your videos I mean, ACE people, come on!
  5. Elissa my little sister is graduating from college in the spring. GRADUATING!
  6. no effing way I am going to see this trainwreck of a film!
  7. Everyone I went with loved it. A couple said it was better than the first. Honestly though, I like the original better. And Mallrats. However it was really funny and had a lot of places where the whole theater was just laughing really hard. I also liked that the crowd was NOT the middle school set that turned up for PoTC2 midnight showing.
  8. Well you know I didn't want to hang out with you anyway JERK!
  9. I am taking the MCAT too, and the GRE and biochem/molec bio subject GRE. And 20 credits per semester. And working on an undergrad thesis that I have to defend next summer. Next year sure is going to suck.
  10. I'm just posting in this thread to see my name in the last post column.
  11. Umm well.. I started at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. The city was a little much for me to take at 18 and I had far too good of a time there, so my GPA at 2.85 I transferred to Youngstown State University in Ohio where I assure you there is no way to have any sort of a good time. I graduated cum laude with a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Chemistry and then moved to Orlando where I promptly worked for three months programming finance software and decided I hated it, took a giant pay cut to work at a vet clinic as a vet tech and am now attending the University of Central Florida full time majoring in Molecular Biology and Microbiology and hoping to get into combined DVM/PhD programs for next Fall. Damn I'm old.
  12. You whippersnappers just wait until you have to take summer classes in college and you only get a 2 week summer break between the last summer class and the first fall semester class! AND you have to go to campus every single day during that two weeks to catch up on the research you couldn't do while you were in human physiology killing yourself studying for the giant exams every week.
  13. I dunno. I guess I'm just used to people trying to impersonate me/steal my accounts on the internet (I moderate a large, popular and sometimes hated non-coaster forum), but it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal to me. I mean it sucks but it's no fire-and-brimstone thing and people do that stuff a million times a day. Maybe I'm just desensitized. To everything.
  14. looks like you guys are having fun. If you hit Sea World let me know!
  15. I do think they will hold off on naming until they know the sex. I got my orientation packet thingie today and I think they are going to set up official orientation at the end of December/first week of January so I will know more then. If you guys make it down here again during the first half of the year let me know. Or jeez even the second half of the year, odds are decent that I'll be here next year too, depending on where my bf and I get into grad school.
  16. You can read about it http://4adventure.com/seaworld/fla/ftp_press_releases_articles.aspx?pr_num=819 there! Link to a picture here (56K noway, high resolution): http://4adventure.com/uploads/images/5/baby.jpg Starting in January I will be interning at Sea World (for credit at UCF) monitoring behavior of the new addition. I'm really excited about the opportunity to do something like this and just thought I'd share the news of the baby's birth with people in this theme park community. So I guess if anyone is coming to Sea World anytime December-May, let me know, I'll be around. Sometimes living in Orlando gives great opportunities...
  17. Making my way through Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (slowly due to the fact that it is my bf's roommate's game so I didn't get to play during break when we went home and the fact that I'm in the process of moving and the fact that next week is finals week and I have a load of stuff to do)
  18. My boyfriend found a ROM of this game for the GBA and we played it and laughed. There are a bunch of crabs walking around and you stomp them and they tell you Scripture verses and then you talk to people and they point to "deceivers" who look like devils and then you talk to the "deceivers" and they ask you Bible questions and if you answer it right the deceiver dies and you get the key to the church. I dont know what happens after that because we started playing some crappy Care Bears ROM after laughing at it long enough.
  19. I saw Rent at a midnight showing opening day (I have seen it on Broadway 3 times) and I was mostly impressed, though I missed the couple of songs that were cut and am still unsure how I feel about all the spoken stuff. I think Chris Columbus was not really the right director to handle something like this, and though some of the emotion was emphasized since a camera can do close-up shots and all, a lot also seemed to be lost. The second half also seemed to be totally glossed over and WHAT was up with the beginning? "Seasons of Love" to an empty auditorium before anyone knows who the characters are....wtf? I went with my boyfriend, who's not seen the show on stage, and I don't think he really liked the beginning very much either. edit: Overall though, I liked the idea of bringing Rent to the big screen and I am sure I will go to see it again on the first-run screens and then if it comes to the dollar theatre I'll do it again. Also I am sure I will buy it on DVD. It just...could have been so much better.

  21. So I may just be really dumb but I can't find the option to uncheck so that I don't get the weekly bulletins from TPR or whatever. Basically I'm here for the people and care a very small amount about actual rollercoaster news and stuff, and I just end up deleting the email anyway. So I want to take the burden of my email off your mail list Robb! Someone pleae tell me how to do this. -Natalie
  22. I don't think there is any more room in Florida.
