Id say Dueling Dragons for the inversions, theming, and near misses. -
Check out the Pavilion in Myrtle Beach, SC. Its been there 50 years and has a 100 ft. woodie and a mad mouse. Great selection of other rides too. Its right at the beach, you can see the ocean from the lift hill. Beautiful.

EpcotLova replied to EpcotLova's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Id post more but I dont have the time to convert files with all the poetry im currently writing. I have about 5 more coasters and a kiddie section, plus a parking lot and themed entryway. I dont know, its my first park, and I wanted it to be immersed in Nature. -

As Voltaire said.., I may disagree with your opinion, but I will defend it to my death. In my parks, I dont like using a lot of theming. I find it cliche. Im a lover of nature. The woods, the forests, the beach and ocean. I love trees, and flowers. I love using them in my parks. I would want anyone to come in my park and have fun, but also to enjoy and appreciate nature. Like Bonfante Gardens. I really want to visit there. Then again, youre also 12. -

EpcotLova replied to Three's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If you ride The Swamp Fox coaster in Myrtle Beach, SC, youll feel its 50 year old frame about to pounce you out of your seat. Other than that I love the ride. -

Ive never been to SoCal. . So is it true that gangs have been known to go into MM and mess around with people and things? Its a rumor ive heard. If so, thats pretty terrible. They have no security? I guess its a messy park! -

Which coaster fits your personality?
EpcotLova replied to jarmor's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Im Anaconda, because, well.... -
My first coaster was Scooby Doo at Carowinds. I think. I was around 8. My first coaster of a decent size was Grizzly at PKD. From then on I am hooked. Now I have this craze for inverted coasters.

Dueling Dragons at IOA. We rode it 35 times in a row, alternating on Fire and Ice. No lie, and no line. -

Roller Coaster Haiku
EpcotLova replied to EpcotLova's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I dig the sarcasm. . But to inform you, and to be a jackass, I must say that English haiku do not adhere to the normal 5-7-5 syllable systems sometimes. Were lazy. . Other than that, those are pretty good. Heres another one. I see Robb Alvey, stuffing a hot dog in mouth, while CoasterFan salivates. -
Post some! . O' wooden coaster. Roughly trodding through grassy pines, you delight, yet scare. English major here. .

I remember, quite vaguely, that you had to go through a certain section of the hotel and through some large hallway to get to the entrance, a rather strange entrance at that, it was like it wasnt even themed. No wonder it didnt last. Ford "Loves Greg's Belly In Those Photos" Simmons

Whatever happened to it? I remember going back about 11 years ago when I was 9, and I had a great time. So did it go bankrupt or what? Did it have any coasters, if it did I cant remember them. Thanks!
