  1. Make sure to ride Dueling Dragons, The Hulk, Spiderman, Jurassic Park, and dont miss The Adventures of Sindbad stunt show. Very entertaining and funny. And dont forget to eat at Mythos!
  2. Tossed salad.. Heh. Hehehe.... Ford "is way too dirty for a roller coaster forum" Noneofyourbusiness.
  3. The hair. The flair. The true asshole that is Donald Trump. I love mean bastards. .
  4. For all the negative criticism ive heard about Ninja, I actually quite like the ride. Its a fun ride, although not my favorite. The Georgia Scorcher is a blast. Its a short ride, but the stand-up element makes it 10x more exciting than it would be if it was a regular steel coaster.
  5. Is this the Motel 6 on Exit 64 B? If thats the one, you shouldnt have any problems. Hope you enjoy.
  6. Survivor is SO overrated. The Apprentice is smart, and I have an affinity for assholes. "Youre fired." Too sweet.
  7. My first coaster was Scooby Doo's Ghoster Coaster at Carowinds when I was 8. I loved it. A few years later, I almost ruined my knees.
  8. Since it was my first launched coaster, id have to say Hulk. I wasnt expecting the launch to be so powerful, and the roll up top into the dive back to earth made me yell something about doing Jesus or something. Insane, but I love it now except for the ear battering.
  9. Come on Alveys, hook an underaged kid up. lol!
  10. I rode it 5 times in a row and couldnt get enough of the G forces. . What exactly happened to Body Wars and all that?
  11. Since this is one of my favorite rides at the Universal Orlando parks, I must defend it. The ride is a shoot em' up ride, with spinning and great themeing. Its a fun ride-you get to shoot aliens and see what kind of score you get, and low scores keep one wanting to come back time and time again to improve their score. My average score now seems to be in the 300,000 range, and I would love to further improve it. Shooting things gets your anger out, and lets you have a lot of fun. Sure, the lines may get long, but thats what Universal Express and the single riders line is for. There was a 40 min wait during last Wednesday's rainy day, but we were on the ride in less than 3 minutes using the single riders line. Riding is as a family or with a friend is no big deal. After the ride you can compare points. What can I say im a MIB freak.
  12. Agreed, BarryH. In this world of competitive theme parks producing thrill rides that surpass other rides yearly, Disney World has to come up with something that will satisfy the thrill seeker besides Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. Mission: Space is a thrill ride that Disney needed badly to give those thrill addicts (like myself) something to ride at Epcot. Those who complain about the ride just shouldnt ride it. Disney has to compete, and let those who want to ride it, well, just ride it.
  13. CoasterEric didnt myself and my roommate talk to you a whole lot on Tuesday and Thursday of last week. We rode Ice a lot and my roommate remembers an Eric that talked to us and would say "You are banished from this ride." Did you wear a black hat, kind of what rappers wear, lol?
  14. It was in the back of the China section where they sell all sorts of random Chinese things. I was totally stunned to see that shirt seeing how "conservative" Disney can be. My stepdad is military so he was going to say something but we didnt get around to it. Anyone else find this strange?
  15. I have read and heard so many negative reviews about Mission: Space that I really dont get it. I have ridden it 7 times. Every time being a blast. I had no problems with the line, the little wait, and Gary Sinise. I think that the pre-ride builds you up, and I have had no trouble with motion sickness. It seems thats where the negative reviews stem from. The motion sickness. They warn you at least 3 times before you get on the ride that if you cant handle motion sickness to get off, and it is a pretty clear warning. The launch and launch from orbit under the Moon is pretty intense, you feel the G-Force as your face peels back and you are pushed against your seat. You even have barf bags to help you out if you puke. I dont think riders pay attention to the warnings before they enter the ride, therefore giving it negative criticism. I just think people should be more responsible when they enter a ride and know whats going on. Excuse my rant. Im directing it towards no one here.
  16. What a great topic. Id have to say my least favorite ride at WDW would have to be...hell, ill just list them (in no particular order): 1. Maelstrom-What can I say? Its really boring. Its really outdated. The special effects arent even special anymore. Its backwards "drop" makes me wonder why I even rode the ride. However, you have to love the constant imagery on the walls of those Norwegians drilling oil for Shell Oil. Hilarious. 2. Pirates Of The Caribbean-I rode it the first time in November since I was a child, so I had no recollection of riding it before. It disappointed me, honestly. I heard so much hype about the ride but the puppetry and ship is outdated, although pretty. I like the shop, though. I bought a hat and a sword and tortured my brother the rest of the day. 3. El Rio Del Tiempo-The only reason I ride it everytime I visit Epcot is to catch the hidden racism. The Mexicans at the end of the ride hawking whatever the heck it is for you to buy is just too funny. 4. Space Mountain, but only when it isnt working. We got stuck midride and rode it in the light. Its nothing great in the light, in fact, you feel as if you are going to hit other tracks above you. I have to say this though. Anyone notice the Mao Zedong t-shirts for sale at the China section? They proclaim him as the greatest leader in the world. Totally communist, and I am surprised I actually saw this shirt and I wanted to say something.
  17. Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos, Mythos. Penne pasta with grilled and blackened chicken with mushroom and garlic sauce with strips of mushroom on top. Cherry cheesecake wrapped in a cinnamon baked crust. All served on artistically-designed plates, provided by the best service I have experienced in ANY park, bar none. _________ anything else.
  18. Has anyone felt more airtime on Revenge Of The Mummy than on Hulk? I have rode in the back of both of them and experience a ton of airtime on the back of Mummy instead of the Hulk. I normally dont tighten up my restraints too much and I see that if I do that on Mummy I go flying out of my seat and it is really incredible for that small of a coaster. Should that bother me I get more air on the Mummy? I also will probably get califlower (sp?) ears from the Hulk.
  19. I do remember talking a lot with one guy, he wears a black hat, really cool under his "work" hat, hes really hyper and jumps around a lot, i cant remember his name, but everytime we came back to ride he was like, "Youre banned from riding this." it was great.
  20. Yeah, we did. A lot of times. My friend had a funny shirt that said something about people with small brains shouldnt be walking around. He was bald, I had perky brown hair and dressed punky. We rode in the back a lot. You may have seen me, im sure!
  21. I also said i didnt see Jeff. Maybe that is the problem, there is Eric, not a Jeff. Damn. Maybe I did see Eric. haha.
  22. Can you beat my score, on a regular basis? I am the KING of MIB!
  23. Hey guys. Ive been gone for a week. I was at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure from Sunday to Thursday. I figured id give some insight into what went on. We arrived in Orlando on Sunday about 2:30, and checked into our motel, a Motel 6 on Hwy 192, in front of Disney World. The hotel was clean, nice, and cheap. 33 a night. You cant beat that. We proceeded to Universal Studios at 3, and was disappointed to find out that it was only open from 9 to 7 the whole time we were there. Nevertheless, we decided to hit Studios to get some rides in. Sunday: The lines were short! We went on Shrek and liked it a lot. The moving chairs were fun and the story was great, you HAVE to catch the dirty little lines. Hehe. Afterwards, we rode Back To The Future, which wasnt as bumpy as I expected it to be. It was fun, except for the fact if you look to your left or right you may see other cars. Next, we rode Men In Black about 5 times, with my average score being about 300,000 without the bonus. Im too much of a dork. We then rode Jaws, which isnt scary but a respite from walking. Then we hit Twister and ate dinner at Richters Burger. The burgers were very good and Billy pointed out the many hot chicks that happen to work at Universal. Monday: We went back to Universal Studios to ride Revenge Of The Mummy., after hearing the many good things about it. There were no lines there. It was amazing. The queue line is amazing, very well themed. The crew was ultra funny as they hid behind posts and scared people, and as we got on the ride and prepared to ride off, the crew would say, "Thank you for your souls." To which I would reply, "See you in Hades." Awesome. I wont give spoilers for those who havent ridden it, but the coaster part is VERY awesome, as well as certain special effects. Monday, we rode it 17 times. Oh, we also hit up Earthquake, MIB about 5 more times, and Back To The Future twice. We ate at Finnegans, which was very good. Tuesday: Islands Of Adventure time. Again, no wait time. So we went straight to Dueling Dragons. Ill be honest. Ive never ridden a looping roller coaster before. *yes, I WAS a wuss* This ride changed me. I got on Ice, and it blew me away. I got on Fire, and it blew me away even more. We were so thrilled we rode Fire and Ice a combined 35 times that day. The ride crew, we got along very well. I didnt see Lisa or Jeff though from this site. I asked for you two! Other than that, we rode the Hulk twice. We LOVEDapp we rode Jurassic Park and Spiderman, which were very fun. I dont even remember where we ate. So sue me. Wednesday: No wait time. You know why? CAUSE IT WAS RAINING. Pouring down and soggy and completely terrible. We rode Dueling Dragons like 5 times. It was cold, wet and the water and wind whipped our faces around. So we went to Universal and rode Revenge of the Mummy about 3 times and Men in Black about 5. The wait times were bad for both because of course they are indoor attractions and it was RAINING. So we did single riders and still had a wait. We left early, around 3, and ate McDonalds and watched Law and Order at the motel. We are only 20, and lazy, so what do you expect. Thursday: Beautiful bright sunny day, with a load of wait times. We rode Dragons about 5 times, then waited in line for Hulk and everything else for a long time. It was fine though, as everything was fun. I must talk about Mythos resturant though. MY GOD. The atmosphere. The service. the food. Unbelieveable, i wont go into details and if you want them just tell me, but Robb is right. Un freaking believeable. The best food ive ever had, ever. I dont feel like typing anymore so if you have any questions tell me!
