  3. I finally got a chance to ride one of those Proslide Bowls today and I was blown away. Defenitly one of my favorites. The feeling is really wierd flying out of the slide and into the bowl. ---Brent
  4. NOOOOO! I get back from Orlando that night (9 PM) so I won't be able to make it. Elissa, will there be another meet before January 7th (when my SF pass expires)? ---Brent
  5. Finally got to experience Deja Vu and I was blown away. Sure it has a bit of a rattle that bounces you around quite a bit, but the whole ride experience blew me away. I sat in the back row and got a WHOLE lot of airtime on the first spike. Not even close to number 1 (Tatsu), but defenitly in the top ten. ---Brent
  6. ^^ Bill. What was the name of Elissa's hamster? (way to easy) ---Brent
  7. Yeah, knowing SFMM, they aren't the friendliest on letting you know things that the public doesn't. I sent a letter to the Public Service staff there about Flashback and didn't even get any sort of reply. But of course, I didn't really expect one. Also, the mechanics probably have no clue if they're going to get it up or not. I mean being a very hard to predict ride, it could work and it could not work. Brent "if you look at my Photo TR, I took some pictures of it" Shenton
  8. Superman - Five for Fighting ---Brent
  9. I waited 4 and a half hours to ride X at SFMM. Even with two train operations, it took us that long. ---Brent

  13. ^^ After sitting there for about 10 minutes, the LSMs started to move us backward (I don't know how) and we got back in the station. I didn't bother to ride again until later. It was scarier to be stuck on Sky Tower. ---Brent
  14. Hey all- Yesterday, I finally made my way up to SFMM to ride Tatsu and get my passes processed. Turns out, we got stuck on two rides in very odd ways. I'll let the pictures tell the story, hope you enjoy! ---Brent X, we didn't ride you today, but we will next time. As we were going down the elevator, the emergency exit door in the back popped open and the elevator stopped. We were stuck about 200 feet up for about 30 minutes. At least we got to go on Tatsu again! Superman has been dwarfed! Evil stairs of hot death! X and Viper! They both hurt! Yay! Tatsu from Sky Tower! Evil stupid Intamin Space Diver! Wow that's ghetto. You can basically walk under the ride. Here is Flashback. It is really sad and pathetic. It has been closed for a while. AH! Hot Arrow evil demon death machine! Yay, we got stuck on Superman! This picture was taken from about halfway down S:TE's track at about 15 MPH. The ride didn't accumulate enough power and it only shot us about a couple feet down the track before we started loosing speed. We waited there for a while, and finally the mag It felt so good inside the Fortress of Solitude! The air conditioning really helped with the 103 degree weather. Sadly, we can still see it. Wow, isn't this picture artsy. It is true that no one EVER takes this picture. OMG, the Canadian geese bought SFMM! They were seriously these birds everywhere, it seems like they had overrun the place. Poor Freefall, it is sad and pathetic like Thrill Shot. ...where the crew sucked. They had two trains on the track, but they kept sending this one empty. It happend about 5 or 6 times. Time to ride Jahan's old ride... Poor old sad and pathetic Thrill Shot. It's so lonley. It's time for the Vu! Yay, Tatsu! Some of the past, old, and newer landmarks of SFMM.
  15. I was up at the Mountain yesterday to ride Tatsu and other stuff, and the Building For Your Future Enjoyment sign is still down from Flashback. Operations were very good yesterday seeing that at about 3:30 the line for Tatsu was about 45 minutes. I'll be posting my Photo TR of my breakdowns and fun times later tonight. There will be some pictures of Flashback too. Brent "Tatsu owns!" Shenton
  16. ^ That, is the most true thing I have ever heard. When I went to KBF in March I found myself done with everything that I wanted to do by about 2:30. I think I went on Xcelerator a total of 12 times that day. So I'm gonna have to say go to SFMM. ---Brent
  17. Generally, Knott's will be less busy, but not light. Don't expect to wait 10 minutes for Xcelerator (which is the usual wait) and instead expect to be waiting probably an hour or more. SFMM will be pretty heavy with waits for even Scream getting over an hour. Colossus will probably be 20-30 minutes. ---Brent
  18. Hopefully, tomorrow, I will get my Deja Vu credit. The ride has always interested me and looks enjoyable. I almost went on it once, but then the catch car got stuck and it was closed for the rest of the day. I look forward to riding it. ---Brent
  19. ^ Actually, I would think that Colossus would be more popular because the GP would see that it was racing and they would want to go on it more. Of course, the main reason that Scream! and Colossus don't get as much buisness as the other coasters is because they are generally hard to find. They sit out in the front of everything and then people end up not riding them because they are so secluded from everything else. Anyways, I'll find out if it is racing tomorrow. ---Brent
  20. Looks like you two enjoyed your visit Frank! Great pictures and TR! ---Brent
  21. ^ You should expect me to stop by and chat with you Soren! ---Brent
  22. I can play Pokemon Leafgreen, ON THE COMPUTER!!! Seriously. ---Brent
  23. Satisfaction - Benni Bennassi and the Biz ---Brent
  24. ^ Well, that is some good news. Let's just hope that Santa Clarita can persuade Six Flags. It seems like in that article it gave many reasons of why SFMM can stay and still cut down on costs. ---Brent
